Kind of hard to find but worth it. Not All Louisiana chicken sell waffles. But this was great.

You know when you humm while you eat it’s a good meal. LoL I’ve been coming to this location since 2009& the food and service are always consistent. The employees and owner are super friendly too.((Don’t forget to tip)) Most of the food is made to order… especially the delicious waffle. The chicken is slightly more spicy than the usual Louisiana Chicken places, but that’s ok, even tho I’m not a fan of spicy food I toughed it up for this chicken. Nom! Nom! Nom! LoL!!! I prefer this place over Roscoe’s any day. Plus it’s cheaper, so hey! Win! Win! The inside is always clean, but the parking can be a bit tricky but you’ll manage… especially if you want that chicken and waffle meal **giggles** While you wait you may also encounter a few laughs as you people watch from the window to the bus stop. Sometimes there’s a few entertaining people out there acting a fool… hahaha! But what can you say, it’s a typical day in the neighborhood. Order your food, wait, laugh, eat and enjoy your day. Cheers.

Then chicken is really moist and has a lot of flavor, I would say better than Roscoes chicken and waffles. The waffles are a different story though, Roscoes are way better hands down. So if you happen to be in the area and you want some fried chicken this is the place to go, just don’t order the waffles they’re not worth it.

The best waffles in L. A hands down!!! WAY better than roscoes waffles!!! I still prefer roscoes chicken but their chicken is pretty good, coleslaw has great flavor! But the waffles are the best things here seriously there the best I’ve ever had!!!

Hands down the best. I have had many different Louisiana spots and this one is the best. The owner is nice; she’s just smart. This area is known for gang activity and people hanging out, what is wrong with taking extra precautions to ensure she arrives home safely? I definitely recommend this location to everyone in this part of town. I live in Lawndale and I pass up a couple places to get to that one.

This place is near the big Swapmeet in Gardena and not too far from Carson and Compton. If you have been shopping all day long you can come grab a bite. The chicken here is the same as the other Louisiana’s within a 10 mile radius, my favorite on Vernon/Main. This chicken from Louisiana’s is one you can feel as you eat. If your blood pressure is high eat in moderation. Flavor which is like good seasoned salt, crispy skin, moist chicken and those soft(not fresh) but still good rolls and the salty, crunchy French fries. I added a can of coke and spent appx $ 5 for the meal.
Parking is a plenty, service is moderate, the wait was 10 minutes for my 2 piece basket, only 2 chairs to sit and wait and as I recall one table to eat, not a huge space but I will still be back.

For a couple weeks now I had been wanting some good olé Southern Catfish. The only problem was I didnt know where any good fish spots were in this area. This place was recommended by another Unilocal user who is also a friend. From the outside the place looks very sketchy but most good fried chicken spots who arent chains are in sketchy areas. I placed a phone order and arrived 10 mins later to pick up my order. My 3 piece catfish, 1 roll, and fries were ready when I arrived. I went before dark just to beat the bad parking in the wannabe thugs who may be hanging around. Services was prompt. Once I got home I dug into my meal. The fish was hot and so were the fries. I received 2 tartar sauces and ketchup. I was very satisfied. I was only able to eat 1 ½ pieces and all the fries before I got full. I only wish the fries where thick cut. They were frozen out of a bag. As i sit here writing this review im still grazing over mt left over fish… its just so good. Make sure you call ahead… less wait time. Next time I’ll try some chicken. they also had a few desserts such as Lemon cake and Sweet Potato Pie which i was really tempted to buy.

All I want to know is… are you coming here to eat the location or the some bomb fried chicken? If your answer is fried chicken then then you’re at the right place. bought a 2 pc wing combo(fries, can soda, and dinner) and a leg and thigh combo for about 8 bucks *and* the nice little old asian lady behind the window cooked my granny fresh wings with no problem when she asked for them. chicken skin was nice and crispy and the inside was juicy now dry or rubbery like some other places. I know it’s a chain but not all louisiana spots can nail the recipe down. Tip: park around back where it’s easier to manuever the front parking lot is pretty cramped.

Location is on Crenshaw blvd and Rosecrans. To begin with this is not a nice location at all, it is a ghetto neighborhood. The owner which is the Elderly women who works there doesn’t speak english fluently, can be kind depends on her day. Most likely going to bump into locals who are rude! The food is not worth its pay, its about $ 6 for 2 pieces, fries, and bread. The food is always warm only because its under a heat lamp(dont know the exact name for the item). For extra tabasco sauce its 50 cent. I personally love the chicken only because the skin is crispy with a simple taste of spice. I dont ever eat chicken skin unless its from this Louisiana. Not recomended, unless your craving some fried chicken!

Craving some food on the way to work, I decided to try one of these«Louisiana Fried Chicken» places. I understand they’re all franchised chicken places. And let me tell you, it wasn’t that great. It’s pretty ghetto. They take your order from behind an almost bulletproof glass, then proceed to take your money, then a while later, pass your food thru the slot. I’m sure some locations are better than others, it jus depends on where you go…
