We ate here yesterday and was pleasantly surprised about how good it is. First off, the woman that took are order was very friendly. We ordered the pulled pork and the brisket. We also order an order of fried pickles. My partner is from the south and hes had a hard time out here finding ones that are good. I thought that we would get a couple in a basket and was surprised to find 5. He said they were the best he’s had out here. The sandwiches were great with really good bbq sauce. The meat was very tender and tasty. We will definitely be going back.

We went here last weekend with mom. Please keep in mind mom is a very picky eater.(Almost never finishes her plate) I must say, «The food here was AWESOME.» Not only did mom finish her plate, she devoured it. All by herself. My little brother even made a comment. As for myself. Let me just say this in closing… WEWILLBEBACKFORMORE!!! Keep up the good work. Oh yeah, great service too. Let’s start putting the word out about this new & great place to eat. The food was even brought to us

Had the cowboy cheese steak, although it was good, the serving size could’ve been bigger. I like the décor and feel of this place, and the location is pretty convenient too. They had a sliders special going on, going to stop by and try them out some time. It’s nice to have a decent bbq place nearby in the neighborhood, I recommend giving it a try after trying out the cheese steak. They have so much open space though, I wish they would host a trivia night or put TVs up. Better yet a mechanical bull, or maybe line/square dancing.

LOVE that there is a little country restaurant in Hayward. I get to jam to fantastic country music while I eat my goodies(FYI I’m from Texas!). Lots of fried yumminess — love the fried pickles and the fried banana. Must try the fried dough next time! One less star because the burger patties are on the thin side, but the burger toppings are very delicious. I definitely want to see this place do well. Haywardians, go support!

I hate to give better than best reviews to places because I’m afraid they will be too crowded, but Cahoots deserves this review. What is better than great food and great service? «Greater». We were at Southland Mall to see Steph Curry of the GS Warriors. In front Cahoots a young charming lady came out with cheeseburger samples. Because we were hungry, what the hell, try it. YUM!!! YUM!!! It was that cheeseburger sample that got us in. We had 7 kids and 2 adults. Between us we spent about $ 40. The atmosphere is very family friendly and open. There are your typical tables and half booths. The drinks are all you can drink, serve yourself. You walk up to the counter and look up at the menu and place your order. Number one recommendation: the mac and cheese topped with bacon. Yes! bacon. It’s only $ 2.50 and is a side dish, but it’s a lot. Another favorite is another side dish, the haystack of onions. They were sweet and crispy and tons of them to just dig into. I can’t remember the price because it was part of a combo deal. Their combos are about $ 6-$ 7 and includes 2 sides and drinks. One combo we ordered was the hotlink, enough to split with another person. The other people at our party had the pulled pork, deep fried mushrooms, sweet potato fries and the standard fries. All were so good. They also offer cheese steak, BBQ chicken, burgers, milk shakes and brisket. I bet everything offered is good. No complaints. The service is excellent. The food served fast and hot. The prices are extremely reasonable. Downsides…yup there are some unfortunately. The bathroom at the time we went could use maintaining. But that could have been due to the mad crowd waiting to see Curry. Trifling peeps. One other thing, more of a suggestion than a downside. Kids menu. I think there should be 4 kids combo meals offered: hamburger, hotdog, chicken nuggets and rib combos with one side and a drink at a reasonable price. Then on Sunday’s Cahoots, maybe you can offer ½ kids meals Sundays. Trust… you will attract a lot of foot traffic knowing there is cheap kids meals offered. Cheap or free… it works. Or maybe one weekday evening, kids eat free. My son had the hotlink, and though he liked it with the onions, would have liked a plain grilled hot dog better. Other than that. I totally recommend Cahoots. I’ve already recommended Cahoots. We will be back and not just because we were starving and lured in by a cheeseburger toting temptress. It is a high recommendation. Don’t raise your prices Cahoots!!! Keep up the good quality.

Just tried cahoots burgers for the first time. Had the western burger an it was really good. Very homemade tasting. The patties are really thin but delicious. So, if you are really hungry you’ll need to get their 3 patty burger. The garlic fries were excellent and not overly garlicy. This place is very affordable at about $ 8 for the combo. They have a great looking menu that i will have to comeback and try like pulled pork and brisket. It was also nice having the employees come around to make sure everything was good and get you refills. The staff was very pleasant. I will definitely be back!

Delicious. I’ve been here 4 times now and had the pulled pork every time. Really good. Everyone is SO friendly. Came in with my husband for lunch today, he was in uniform(Army) and they gave us 50% off of our check. Great customer service. We will be repeat customers and recommend to others.

Had the beef brisket sandwich with fries. Very tasty BBQ brisket on a hamburger bun. Given the price of the meal, it should have been on the larger french roll that the cheese steak came on. Too small for the price. The fries looked to be freshly cut with the skin still on, but they were too limp and not as crisp as I think thin cut fries should be. Decently sized space on the exterior of the Southland Mall facing the main parking lot. Not overly decorated — in fact, it was a bit sparse. Service was fine.

Cahoot’s brings something new to Hayward and Southland mall. It has taken over the old place by TK Noodle. Jack the owner great person. Great food and the Chipotle sauce and pickles hit the spot.

Went by today out of curiosity to see what if anything had replaced TK Noodle House and there was this country/western themed burger joint called Cahoots. I had the bacon cheeseburger and my wife had the cheeseburger. We also shared an order of fries and a chocolate shake. Service was good, but we were the only ones there. The prices are reasonable. For mall food the burgers were decent. They certainly don’t have any competition at Southland. The fries however are too skinny for my liking. The chocolate shake was abysmal. A little bit of chocolate syrup in the bottom of what could only be a vanilla flavored non-dairy product. The deep fried pickle didn’t work for me and the chipotle dipping sauce lacked sufficient enough chipotle to give it enough punch for a pickle. The deal breaker for me was the country/western music. I loathe country/western music and I really hate it played so loud.

I was Chilling at the Man Cave. Watching the Niners Whup Ass on the Dirty Birds. After the game, I was Craving a Burger. I hit my trusty Unilocal App and Cahoots Burgers &BBQ pops up. This peaked my interests as well as my taste buds. So I jumped into my Whip Black Beauty and jetted to South land Mall. I stashed my Whip in the Parking Lot and Street Hiked to Cahoots. Cahoots Burgers and BBQ has been in Business for about a month. There are 3 owners, They are fine tuning their Menu. I like their Concept. I perused their menu and ordered their #4-Cowboy Cheese Steak Sammich with Pepper Jack Cheese Combo . I paid by Discover Card . I filled my Drink at the Soda Fountain and grabbed a table to chill at. One of the Owners brought my order out and offered me a free sample of Fried Pickles which I accepted. The Cheese Steak was Delicious the Pepper Jack Cheese was yummy. The Box Cut fries were tasty as well as the fresh Cole Slaw. The Fried Pickles were very Tasty, interesting flavor and not oily. The Servers and Cashiers were very nice and pleasant people to deal with.

I wish i could give Cahoots more then 5 stars! They’re burgers, BBQ, and fries are DELICIOUS!!! I have had the pleasure to enjoy lunch at Cahoots a few times now and i have loved everything i have ordered. They have an amazing smoked BBQ pulled pork sandwich that you can taste the perfection of ingredients and cooking method in. They also have great burgers, my all time favorite is probably their Hog Wild Fries they hand cut their fries, and cook to just my liking, then topped with cheese sauce, BBQ pulled pork, BBQ sauce and another house sauce that is to die for! I couldn’t be more pleased with all my experiences at Cahoots! I cant wait to try their Shakes at my next visit! Not only do they have awesome food, but the service has me giving them 5 stars as well. I highly recommend checking them out, if you don’t your missing out!

I’m going to start off by saying that if I could revoke my needing to rate at least one star, I most definitely wouldn’t give this place a star at all. This place has got to be the worst place I have ever eaten in the Bay Area. It’s truly unfortunate that a T.K. Noodle was replaced by such an unorganized set of people who believe that they could even honestly run a fast food joint. The whole experience at Cahoots Burger was just dreadful. I had purchased a Pulled Pork Burger, and honestly, I would’ve been better off purchasing a fake pork McRib at MacDonalds than to waste my money on what these people believed was a good Pulled Pork Burger. Here’s what this horrible experience showed me about this place: 1. Bad Customer Service: As soon as I ordered the Pulled Pork Burger I was immediately asked what did I order. I thought it was embarrassing that the cashier asked me what did I order when I was the last person who was at the register. Whats even funnier was that there was no one else there to order after me, how could she have forgotten my order? Then after all the messed up service, the cashier had the audacity to ask us, after we told her initially, if we were going to take the food to go. I see this as a total failure starting with the employee, but also as a management failure as well. 2. No images of the food/Lied to about the size of food. When we entered the Southland Mall entrance, we were pulled to Cahoots Burger by a sample of the Pulled Pork in a cup. When we ordered at the Cashier, she told us that the Pulled Pork Sandwich /Burger was«Pretty big with alot of meat in it.» The truth was that when we received our Pulled Pork Burger, there was more meat in the sample that we received walking into the mall then there was in the Burger itself. The burger buns they use at Cahoots are cheaper than any burger value buns that you could buy at your local 99 cent store. It had paper quality taste, and it did not positively modify the flavor of the Pulled Pork, and the total taste of the sandwich was poor. Also, the coleslaw was tasteless and dry. The fries are not even comparable to In and Outs, and such invalid statements should not be posted about this place. All in all, going to and purchasing food from Cahoots Burger was a complete and utter waste of my perfectly good $ 8 dollars, that I could’ve used somewhere else. I would’ve been able to buy better food, and would’ve received even better customer service. Cahoots Burger is a sad disappointment, it was not what I expected. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy, and most definitely wouldn’t bring any of my family members there.
