St. Paul’s Episcopal Church has a fascinating history. The current sanctuary was built in 1900, and was formerly a parish hall. It has the simple structure of a New England white clapboard church. It’s a very small place, with simple stained glass windows. Its stark simplicity is a contrast to the English country church style of Grace Episcopal in St. Helena, or the splendor of St. Mary’s in Napa.
St. Paul’s is a beautiful, meditative space in downtown Healdsburg.
