We have gone here for 3 years now on our Anniversary. And I would not go anywhere else. I have had the ribeye which was excellent and I have had the fresh lobster which was excellent! Awesome service, great wine, fantastic meal!

Been here a few times foods good staff is usually nice. But very unprofessional when you see the staff outside smoking and drinking with guests also a bit annoying when you get asked to show your ID like 100 times throughout the night because somehow they don’t remember you.

My family had our Thanksgiving meal here and it was excellent! The dining area was clean and and the service and food was great. I haven’t eaten here since I was a kid and it is better than I remember. I don’t know why some people complain about the parking lot being a bit run down when the food and service is so good.

What a great restaurant — 3 of us had dinner there last night — prime rib all around — waitress was superb — hostess greeted us warmly. The place is modern, clean and well thought out. Now onto the food. Love cold crispy salad — check. The baked potato was huge! The prime rib; we’re still talking about it. Friends birthday is late October and he’s already said The Anchor. Pricing was reasonable, we were not rushed to leave, our waitress was attentive but not obtrusive. I highly recommend this place if you want good food and better yet; prime rib.

Just a quick review, I was there a few months ago and I didn’t write a review after I checked in. The food was excellence and the customer service was just as good. Thank you! I live about 2hrs away and I won’t hesitate to stop by next time I am in the area.

I have eaten here several times, in spite of the bad reviews. I found it to be excellent. Excellent service, excellent food, done as ordered and good drinks. Reasonably priced. I also ate in the bar once. That was also good, good drinks and friendly bartender. I have found a new place to eat and will definitely be returning.

OMG!!! I hear people talk about how great this place is. We finally decided to look past the horrid outside appearance. Worked our way thru all the potholes and cracks in the parking lot. Found the front door. Walk inside and opened the dirty doors into the bar. No customers…2 bartenders (shift change) amd ordered our drinks. Pricey but ok. Music blasting. Not a prude at all. I love music. If its too loud youre too old. But this was
crude. The owner came over and shook our hand and welcomed us
I give him a gold star for that. That is how you should do business
However. The best overall I can give it is a minus zero. Spend some money on cleaning and decorating and get rid of the tatted up long haired workers. I would NOT eat there.

I don’t understand why there can be so many good reviews for this restaurant and then a handful of one star ratings. I don’t know if it’s just because some people are chronic complainers or what. When the One star ratings are the minority, it makes me wonder. So I am not going to let them discourage me from trying it. I plan to check this restaurant out with a few of my family members at the end of the month and will give you my honest opinion.

We met friends here for supper and I was afraid it was going to be another sports bar, and that is an option as well. We sat in the dining room which had a very pleasant contemporary feel to it. I had the small filet mignon with baked potato (which was huge and tasty). The steak was done perfectly and was wrapped in bacon. Yum. The clam chowder was to die for and I would have been happy with just more of that. Overall everyone’s meals were good and presented attractively and the waitress was attentive and friendly.

Great bartenders, great food, reasonable prices, the owners are very very nice! It really has a nice local feel. If you don’t know anyone here when you come in by the end of the night you’ll be friends with everyone. Good vibe! Just give this establishment a try you will not regret it!!!

Came to try dinner here, I was afraid at first because if the reviews but I have to say service was excellent and food was great. I had rib eye steak and fully loaded potatoes soup and my husband had the captains burger, Huge! Come try it out, has some Swiss dishes as well. European décor …

The Anchor is a fantastic hidden-​ish gem in Hemet. Truly. Now we only enjoyed the restaurant portion, but we’re definitely be down to check out the sports bar portion on a Chargers game day were they to be carrying the game.
The service was fantastic and quite attentive. Honestly, it was the perfect balance of fine dining attention to detail and practice in a warm, casual atmosphere.
My entire party had prime rib which was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked to order, and tender.
The grilled veggie skewers were a fantastic side option that was truly enjoyable.
Overall, when we are in town visiting family and friends we will definitely be back to enjoy The Anchor!

I can’t even comment on the food because we never got to order. We went in, there was a sign saying to take a menu and be seated. We did. We spent about ten minutes looking over the menu, which was lacking in every way. We finally found something that would be decent, and waited another ten minutes for a waitress. We never saw anyone. There was a table of four at the table next to us, and they got up and walked out. On their way out, they said they had been waiting 30 minutes to order, and still hadn’t. We followed them out, and went on to a much better place for dinner.

This place has changed a lot! Very nice! Looking and feeling a lot better! The waitress we had was amazing! I have a 3 year old who of course has trouble sitting still and she was very friendly and gave him some play cars to play with. Very nice :) the food was amazing ill put some pics up! :) was kinda empty… I hope more people start coming! This place is excellent!!! I got the lobster! Cooked perfect… Amazing! Wish I could eat another! Good came bet fast! Waitress new the menu and had great suggestions! I would defiantly give this place easily 6 stars if I could!

The only reason that I gave it one star because I had to. The food was disgusting! The décor was absolutely a joke, and just an embarrassment! The server was nice, but it took her forever to bring our food. I will never return there again. Even their iced tea was weak.
I hope that the owner gets a clue to how bad this place was. If it wasn’t Easter Sunday, I would have sent back at least 4 our of our 6 meals. Such a shame. Maybe the owner needs to close the doors.

Extremely slow service. Food was just ok. My steak that I ordered medium came out well done. Took over 20 minutes to order our dinner. We were the only ones in the restaurant! Took forever to get our food! Won’t be going back.

The food is awesome, and so is Ladonna the bartender. I personally enjoy the 24oz Pabst blue ribbon beers from the bar and the Swedish food is amazing as well.
