Great idea cool to have I hemet I’ve been twice my second time there was ants all over the soda machine and the employees didn’t seem to care.

It’s about time the Hemet valley got a good Mongolian/Japanese restaurant! This place is small, but the food is delicious!

Let the record reflect that in fact I did return to try the katsu and the ramen, as I had previously stated in my initial review. I’m nodding my head in approval thinking about it. That pork katsu was BYFAR the best I’ve ever had. The ramen was something I’ve never tried before, and now I see what the hype was all about.

I Enjoyed the Mongolian a lot. :) I like it because the meat and noodles are on the side instead of trying to shove everything into one bowl like the mall ones you can focus on just putting all your veggies into the bowl. They have a lot of vegetables and sauces which was awesome. I asked for extra spicy(3 spoons of chili) and it was perfect. Not deadly but a great level for me. The Japanese food is okay. Compared to what i am use to it was good but not like 5⁄5 maybe 3.5÷5. Still great for a Hemet restaurant! :)

This review is just for the ramen. I had the tonkotsu but they also have miso. The place is small, and the wait for the Mongolian seemed a little longer than I would like to wait, but the ramen was quick and was a good portion. Broth — legit. As good as Ajisen, not the best in California but killer for the location and better than most. Noodles — pretty good, I prefer Santoka. They are a little to thick, but consistency and taste we good. Chashu — little bit dry, but big thick pieces with good flavor Egg — bangin! Perfectly cooked soft yolk with a really good spice on top of it that added a extra little flavor kick. If you are anywhere within 25 miles it’s worth the drive. I’ll be back and probably won’t even bother with the Mongolian BBQ, although it looked great. Since I moved out of OC it’s been impossible to find any ramen that is worthy. Finally there is one.

the food was just ok! let’s be realistic the food isn’t . it should taste good with all the sauces they pour on it, not to mention it doesn’t take a trained chef to cook this stuff. i had the Mongolian bbq. meat was prepackaged in a freezer up front by the cash register. weird and ghetto. then the other ingredients as far as veggies didn’t look fresh. I am not sure if they prepare the food well. they use the same ladle for all the sauces!!! gross. and the workers portion out the noodles for you. traditionally the customer gets to portion out the meat, veggies and noodles in a big bowl. heads up the bowl is small. size of a small soup for broth or egg drop soup. $ 8 including tax for one meat option… service was horrible. as I walked in employee was on their phone with their head down and back to the front door. who does that? didnt look up and then around until I said hi! décor was funny, considering they are in hemet trying to pull it off as a hip place to hang out. let’s face it. you’re in hemet. I am sure one of their employees will do another five star review to get their rating to stay five stars… way to go lol

If you want delicious healthy food, this is the place to go! your protein picks are: beef, chicken, lamb, shrimp or tofu… add assortment of fresh veggies and the delicious condiments they add to it and booom you got yourself a delicious hearty healthy plate! They kept busy the whole time we were eating, people kept arriving which is a great sign and prices are not bad at all! Totally recommend this place, oh I almost forgot to mention… customer service is an A+…

Our family went into the restaurant due to the reviews that we saw on Unilocal we were greeted as soon as we walked in the door with the workers behind the counter all greeting and saying hello the hostess explained everything in detail which was nice and the food variety is great. Choices between lamb chicken pork and beef and shrimp they even have hard tofu. great little business something that all families with enjoy and you get to pick the vegetables at you want with the proteins that you want. Since we arrived they have been continually busy which is nice to see a business booming in the small town of Hemet very healthy food and you can see that it is all fresh Located right on the corner of Carmelita and Florida diagonally across from the Hemet theater and in the Carmelita Center.

Here is my review… I personally like it and their Thai ice tea is on point. Very good. I’ve been there twice. I always try a place twice before I give my opinion. And honestly, I want to go back there again. I want to try the noodle soup one soon but I don’t have time to eat it because I only get 30 minutes for lunch. But I really enjoy the food. My first time there and everyone was so helpful and friendly. I told them this is my first time here and I have no idea what to do. I loved it. Thanks for giving me the best experience and delicious recommendation.

Food was good, but it’s not the type of Mongolian bbq you’re probably looking for. It’s all prepackaged meat and arranged so there aren’t many options. I like to pack a lot of meat and add my sauces so it cooks into the meat, but they cook the meat separately. You can’t even put your own sauces. The cooks do it for you, and they use the same ladle for all the sauces. Can’t say anything for their Japanese food because I didn’t try any, but it could be good. I guess if I had to try something else here I wouldn’t do the Mongolian bbq. Until then, I am ONLYRATING the Mongolian bbq. Japanese food TBD. **update 5÷17÷16: since you responded so condescendingly, I will respond in kind. I have been eating at Mongolian BBQ places since the early 2000s when I joined the military. I know the difference between Mongolian BBQ and Korean BBQ as I frequent both types of establishments. Every Mongolian BBQ place I’ve been to has at the very least the chicken, beef, pork options(some with lamb and tofu for vegan/vegetarian option) that you listed and lays them out so the customer can choose the amount for their portion. What you are saying is every other place is violating health codes by doing so which I find hard to believe since yours is the only establishment that limits this probably because you’re trying to cut costs which is fine. It’s business, but please don’t make it seem like I don’t know what I’m reviewing. People complain because their food doesn’t taste good when they mix their own sauces so you take the option away from the food process altogether? The reason why I even wanted to try your Mongolian BBQ was to create my own dish with my own sauces. It’s the Mongolian BBQ experience! And, reprimanding your workers after the fact that they used the same ladle for all the sauces doesn’t change my experience at your establishment. You can try to justify your business practices all you want, but it doesn’t change this sorry excuse for a Mongolian BBQ place. The sad thing is: your options in Hemet will drive business in due to the lack of places to eat of this variety. I was going to try to dine and order the Japanese food next time I visit for work to see if your Japanese food is better than the Mongolian BBQ, but now, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Thank God for Unilocal!Hemet is a wasteland for crappy food and I was out here for a meeting today and found myself starving! I found this gem on Unilocal and I love me some Mongolian barbecue! I got the pick 2. Basically they hand you a bowl for the veggies would you grab yourself and you open up the cooler in front of you and pick your meat. I love this concept it keeps everything fresh and very hygienic. The meat is individually sealed in each package for you, sliced thin and frozen. Then it’s off to pile your bowl with as much veggies and condiments as you can. I kept packing it down my fist to fit more veggies, I love this type of food! Then they grab your meat(get your mind out of the gutter people!) and they start to cook it. Then they ask you if you want it mild, medium or hot and mix the sauce is for you with the veggies and meat. It takes just a few minutes then they add those amazing orange noodles you always get at Mongolian barbecue. In the end the meal was fantastic and for $ 10 I ate a very healthy and fresh meal from a non-chain local business that I hope makes a ton of money and stays here for years. Get your butt down here and try this place!

For Hemet this is a 5. Actually, the food is VERY good. Very small restaurant but outdoor seating. You get choices of meet that are pre portioned and wrapped in plastic to keep fresh in a small fridge by the register. After you pay, you walk down the assembly line to get veggies in a bowl. They will then prelate everything like a normal Mongolian BBQ. The people are friendly and it appears they stay busy, because they are constantly replenishing the veggies. The only drawback is they serve Pepsi in their fountain drinks vs Coke. That’s just my personal preference though. Definitely not a deal breaker.

Also, you must try the THAITEA!!! So goooodddd!!! The staff are the best too! So friendly and helps you out alot if it’s your first time there. Overall, AWESOME spot to have lunch or dinner! They definitely deserve the 5 stars!

We checked it out because of the stellar reviews here on Unilocal! That and we haven’t had Mongolian BBQ in ages! So excited to see one in Hemet! We brought our 86 year old Grama here tonight and used her as our decider of the food! Well she loved it! We did the combo meals that came with miso soup, rice, soda and of course the main course! I pretty much had every veggie I could fit inside my bowl! We also did both beef and chicken since it was only $ 2 more to have twice the meat! The guys inside were super nice and friendly! They got our food going right away and we had yummy soup and rice while we were waiting! All and all it was great! We will be back soon for more BBQ and to try the ramen!

Wow! Saw this place on Unilocal, and decided to give it a try. I was super excited that it was located in town and easily accessible. We walked in and were greeted by very friendly staff. It was very clean and had nice décor. The great smell permiated into the parking lot. I ordered the Mongolian two item box. Beef and chicken. Wifey ordered the Ramen bowl. The owners gave us their recommendations on seasoning and we went by that. The meat and veggies were very good quality. Perfect portions. Sauces were very flavorful. We can’t wait to go back and will definitely recommend to friends.

This place is awesome! The ramen here isn’t has authentic as previous ramen I have had BUT it is doable. Especially since it is in the area of hemet. This will bring more variety and taste to the area. Plus on top of that, it is nearly 5 minutes away from home; finally a place to where my mom and I wouldn’t have to drive hours out of the valley to fix our crave! 1 star for convenience 1 star for staff /workers 1 star for ambiance 1 star for food Would love to come here and become a regular!

Our first time to visit this new place; The place is clean and can accommodate groups. Friendly staff and good food! If you are looking for a good noodle fix, this would be the place. We came to check out the ramen but we ended up ordering both ramen and mongolian bbq. They were both good! Me and my husband ended up switching up plates every 4 bites! Haha! They have miso and tonkatsu ramen; we had the tonkatsu. For the mongolian bbq, you get to choose your type of meat. You can have 1 kind of meat for 7.5 or 2 kinds for 9.5, you can pick from shrimp, chicken, beef, pork and lamb. Then they give you a bowl to fill up with veggies. Then they add the noodles and stir fry for you. Whats good about this is you get freshly made food every time and it only takes a few minutes. We came famished and left satisfied! Good job! We hope to see you in Murrieta soon!

This place is located in a plaza shared with a family dentistry and super cuts. The set up is where you order and pay for the ramen you want or how many ingredients you want for your Mongolian noodle dish and you have a seat until they bring the food out to you and you grab whatever utensils you need. I got the ramen so I didn’t take a look at the vegetables available for the Mongolian dishes but it seems they constantly maintain it to keep it nice and sanitary. The miso ramen has good flavor. Personally the fish cakes and noodles could have been cooked a tiny bit longer for a softer texture but if it were my mom she would like that texture so it’s just how you like your noodles. I like that they don’t cheap out on the hard broiled eggs like all other ramen places I’ve tried(the egg is the best part of any ramen dish) they don’t just give you half. They give you a whole one. It’s really good too. That earned another point for me. Also I highly appreciated how they accommodated to my diet. I don’t eat meat except fish and they happily substituted whatever I wanted, even suggested tofu. They definitely didn’t cheap out. I said no onions but I don’t think she caught that because I had onions embedded in my noodles and everything but this happens to me everywhere so I just pick it out and try to ignore the rest. I grew up in an area with a lot of Asian noodle soups which I love and appreciate but I currently live far from that area and look for places like this. I’m so happy to have found this place. It’s not the closest to me but within a 15 mile radius and it’s worth the drive. I’m definitely coming back. Hence my 4 star. It’s not THE best I’ve had but that’s because I’m comparing it to places KNOWN for ramen. This place has the best ramen in the area, that’s for sure. I also got a free scoop of ice cream for my check in. The sweet lady who helped us with everything smiles a lot and keeps her eyes peeled to see if her customers need anything. Great service. They even play good background music. TV would probably help for those who like to watch sports or something while they eat. I also like that they have lotion available in the restroom for this dry winter season. :)
