Called Harder on a Sunday, they arrived on Monday. We had an old tree fall down on the property and it was blocking the driveway. They showed up the next day and removed the tree so we could get our cars out of the driveway and go to work. Very quick, neat and efficient. All the guys were extremely cordial to me and my wife. I would recommend them to anyone. We have used other tree services in the past with worse outcomes.

Do not use Harder Tree Service. Agent orange would be preferable. They did the line trimming in East Rockaway last week and butchered two gorgeous trees at our house as well as many others throughout the neighborhood. We have been here 20 years and have had trimmings continually. Never have we seen such butchering. They left little more than trunks standing where beautiful irreplaceable trees had been. I would not give them any stars at all. Do not use Harder and petition PSEG to use another company before Harder comes to your street.

Harder Tree Service did line clearing in Floral Park. They clearly do not know what they are doing. Completely butchered my tree and the rest of the block. One star is too many based on the miserable work I saw in Floral Park.

Harder Service via Tom Walsh were the most professional organization I have used for the past 20 years in the tree/shrubbery/landscape services industry.
I moved to Manhasset, Long Island from Rochester, NY in ’93 and went through a series of bad advise and bad service UNTIL I met TOM — vast knowledge — could not only answer my questions but could see issues developing early so we could plan a solution.
Tom is the consummate professional and you can trust his judgement and advise — the team he works with executes with detail control and ownership. My highest recommendation. PS — my yard was the envy of the neighborhood!!!

Actually Harder Tree Service doesn’t even deserve ONE star!
Should have realized when it took three followup calls to confirm my appt, that Harder wouldn’t keep it. Yep, I took a day off from work — and only heard from Tom that morning. He wasn’t coming to give an estimate for tree removal because it’s drizzling outside and he’s been sick. And since Tom hasn’t worked on Saturdays in 20 yrs, I can reschedule for another weekday and take another day off.
Never appreciated social media until writing this review.
Find a reputable company that understands the meaning of good customer service because Harder doesn’t have a clue.
