My dogs love it. And that’s enough for me. It’s clean, in a nice neighborhood, nicely kept.

This is a small park, but has a big soccer field and a great walking/running trail. Bring a ball and walking shoes and you are good to go.

Last Saturday was the third time that I stepped on Allegro Park soil. I have used it as the trailhead for the Seven Hills Trail. Allegro Park is a four acre neighborhood park in the City of Henderson’s Seven Hills Master Planned Community. It is located on Seven Hills Parkway south of Sunridge Heights Parkway, and on the south border of Ellise L. Wolff Elementary School. It is a family friendly park that features picnic tables, a playground, a field to play soft ball, and restrooms. Allegro Park is additionally the north trailhead serving the Seven Hills Trail. What I appreciate about Allegro Park is that it is contiguous to the Seven Hills Trail. In my opinion, Allegro Park is part of Seven Hills Park. The northernmost segment of Seven Hills Trail overlaps with Allegro Park. The contiguous Seven Hills Trail is grade separated. The grade separations eliminate dangerous crossings against motor vehicle traffic, which creates a very safe trail for children and adults to hike or ride on a bicycle. This makes Allegro Park a desirable destination for bicycling and hiking. Especially for families! I have seen Allegro Park when it was busy and when it was four acres of tranquility. It is usually busy when there is a softball game. When it was empty, it reminded me of an empty school yard in the northeast. Allegro Park is worth the drive when using it as a trailhead for Seven Hills Trail. If you are going out of your way to visit a park in Seven Hills, I recommend Vivaldi Park(I reviewed it) a short distance south of Allegro Park off Seven Hills Parkway. Vivaldi Park provides spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip and open spaces of Henderson Airport. When I return to Allegro Park, I will be using it as a trailhead for the Seven Hills Trail.
