Cinnamon Ridge Park is a nice little park that has a playground area, walkways that you can walk on to get some good exercise in, basketball and tennis courts, shaded tables to sit at to hold a nice picnic and restrooms to take care of business after the picnic eats. It is located right off of Burkholder Blvd. that is convenient to pull right off and enter into the park. The parking lot isn’t too big and can seem kind of tight on busy park days, but there is another park located near this park so it isn’t too bad with compensating between the two. It also has a nice crosswalk equipped with lights and flashing stop sign to signal to oncoming cars to slow down and STOP because people are trying to cross safely. I’m very glad they added this to the crosswalk because they did not have this in the past and it was very dangerous for kids to walk through in the crosswalk. There is a high school(Basic H.S.) located right next to the park so lots of kids walk home school and sometimes use that crosswalk to get to their houses right across the street from the park.

This park is very close to my house, and my family and I love it. There is a tennis court, a basketball court, and various walk ways that you can run on. There is a huge grassy area surrounded by «picnic-y» areas that have a shade over them. I usually park in the lot, while my guy plays with our daughter on the jungle gyms and swings. I start towards the right of the park, where the basketball court and tennis court is. If you take the pavement all the way across the park, past the soccer fields, walk in front of the Aquatics/Señor center, and back down Burkholder, you have a good 1.92ish distance. The only downside to this is the street that it is on… Even with the FLASHING crosswalk, there are drivers that will fly by you, while you are in the cross walk, trying to get across the street.

It’s next door to the dogs bark park. Includes tennis court, basketball court, restrooms and covered picnic tables. It’s nothing special.
