Fatburger

Just spent 28 dollars on two burgers, fries, and sodas. Got home and was missing a frie. When I went back to get a refund Tammy tried to argue with me regarding her mistake. Screw the crappy food, price and service. I will never be back to this place ever.

Dimly lit parking lot drove by couldn’t see anybody inside drove around again couldn’t see anybody even behind the counter I remember last time I ate here I said I would never come back here again and I remember why

The sign on the building says OPEN 24 HOURS, but it is NOT. Then they have a separate sign taped to the door saying their hours. They really close at 10 PM every day. The food is good, but it is false advertising.

Worst hamburger I’ve had in a long time, and I paid $ 22 for two SMALL burgers, two fries and a small shake. The bun was squished, meat over cooked and dry. We won’t be back. Even Jack in the Box is better than this, and probably half the price.

Been many years since last visit which wasn’t that impressive.
The store is very clean and staff were very nice. Open kitchen with diner counter is nice.
Ordered the mushroom Swiss burger with skinny fries and reg drink. $ 14.47 They deliver to table your order.
Burger wasn’t large, had a thick juicy patty.but.way over seasoned and paper thin mushrooms. Fries were bland. no seasoning. Coke was good!
Honestly $ 14.47 for lunch is way too expensive for this. $ 7.69 for burger, $ 3 for fries, almost $ 3 for reg soda… wow that’s what a hamburgers all about… not

I haven’t had FB in years! All of them virtually closed up in the OC, I remember the one on Tustin Ave. and the one in Downtown Brea, back then the food was solid and I don’t remember being as expensive as it is now! :/​
Fast forward to a few weeks ago when my sister and her friends were in town, they treated me to dinner and majority of the time when I go out to eat I order off the kids meal because of my stomach issues. I ordered a kids cheeseburger meal and her friends shared one combo, somehow it came out to $ 22.00!
Are you kidding me? One kids meal and one combo (no frills, no double patties etc.) for $ 22.00?!! I can honestly say I feel ripped off! The burger was OK, nothing special, nothing like the Habit and even the Habit doesn’t charge crazy prices like this! Did I mention we waited in the drive thru for almost 15 minutes?! We were the only ones in line and took ridiculously long! I don’t think I’d ever come back unless I was just downright begging for a FB!

Employees are not knowledgeable about allergens and aren’t even willing to make an effort to look. They need to learn the law before someone that isn’t as kind as me wants to make an example out of them. Shame on you!

I love fatburger and will eat it any time I get a chance. This is one of the pricier fast food joints as I paid $ 27 for 2 meals. The fatburger needs no description! You all know this tastes good. I was definitely disappointed by the fat fries though. They tasted as if they had been frozen for a long time. They definitely had a weird aftertaste. I would suggest ordering the skinny fries as those were actually great! The drive thru is open 24 hours but dining area has set hours.

I love this burger, but the bigger the order the messier it gets. I frankly don’t give a damn because a Fatburger is about flavor, consistency and an overall quality product. It’s not fancy. It’s a burger stand, not one masked as a burger stand, and the food is made to order. The patty is formed right in front of you with some spice thrown on top. The fries are fresh cut and not frozen and you get the option of Fat fries or Skinny fries. Get the Fat fries. You decide what goes in your burger, but I get it all the way with both mustard and mayo. This time I went for the double. Dayum! It was huge and yes, it was messy but like I said it didn’t bother me as I knew it was going to be one of the best burgers, EVER! The party was very juicy but not greasy. Whatever spice they throw in the party really brings out the flavor of the meat. The veggies are fresh and the fries are perfectly friend to a golden color.
Every time I’m in LV Fatburger is my go-​to place. If I visit Cali I make sure to find a Fatburger since there isn’t one in Texas. Seriously give this place a try. I know it’s not hyped up by Hollywood celebrities but remember they are probably paid to «endorse» that other California burger joint.

I regret going to this location. The wait time wasn’t long as usual but the food quality was not good. My fries had a weird after taste, like soap water or lotion. The soda tasted flat and had a weird taste too, I would describe it as «cleaning supplies». Ive never tasted cleaning supplies or soap water lol but the food tastes the way these things smell. I was very hungry so I tried to mask the taste with a lot of ketchup (since the cashier forgot to put mustard in the bag, we went drive thru.) but it wasn’t enough. I ended up just throwing everything away. Really unsatisfying. Also, the cashier could have been nicer and more professional, over all just a bad experience. Never eating at that location again. I still have the gross after taste in my mouth. Ugh.

Overpriced food and extremely long wait times! Our food took 25 minutes to come out and we ended up having to take it to go because we were running late. I realize it’s not going to be as fast as other more fast food type burger places but yikes about 25 for some burgers and fries/​onion rings! When we got to the car the onion rings were cold but we obviously didn’t have time to go back and get new ones, sadly we still ate them because we were starving. When I’m paying $ 36+ for two burgers, French fries, onion rings, and two drinks I expect it to be hot and not take forever! It was not even that busy, there were only a couple of people ahead of us so I don’t know what the hold up was! I will not be returning to this location.

After a long day at work drove thru to order food. Waited 5 mins before the lady could take my order. Once she took my order it was a medium meal, xl meal with a shake and a kids meal. She told me the total $ 40 I was so surprised! I get to the window wait 10 mins before she collected payment. Then she told me after waiting 15 more minutes to pull to the front and they would bring my food out! I waited 10 more mins then I had to go in and get my food cause nobody came out!!! I just can’t believe that I waited that long and paid $ 40 for something that I had to go in and get myself… And all I got was a sorry. Waiting that long after a long day at work was the last thing I wanted to do. Won’t be returning to fat burger ever again. Over priced and horrible wait time. Never fails but this has just topped it off from every visit prior.

Although the burger wasn’t the best, it was good. I got a medium size and that itself was pretty filling. I was able to stuff it with lots of extras including bacon, grilled jalapeños, and grilled onions. Inside was nice and clean and worked rather quickly. I went at a busy time, so I waited the most 10 minutes.
I also had an Oreo shake. Now that was good :)

The best vegetarian burger with onion rings and added jalapeños I have ever tasted in my whole entire eating life!

I visit this location at least once every couple weeks. I have never had a bad experience here with the food or the service. They so sometimes seem like they are short staffed and the wait is a bit long on those days. I however dont mind the wait because the food is great.

Wish the wait wasn’t so long BUT it’s so worth it. Can’t be compared to any other burger because it’s so different.
BTW make sure you get yourself a side of «Chipotle Tobasco Sauce» and pour it all over the inside of your burger and you will never regret it!!!

Customer service or lack of I should say. Went to drive-​thru. Employee over the intercom took my order. Drove up, looked at me, no hello, no smile, no «your total is…» I handed payment, gave me change without a single word being spoken during the transaction. It was a young kid on a Sunday night, looked like he didn’t wan to be there let alone give a rats ass. Service is HORRIBLE! Management should better train and educate staff on customer service. Would not return to this restaurant.

I’m a huge Fat Burger fan. I’ve never gone inside this location on sunset but I frequent it after work on the way home at night. They routinely deliver the same excellent service and food every single time I come. I love their hamburgers. I’m not a big fan of In N Out. It may take a little longer than most people prefer as they cook it fresh, but it is worth the wait. Those burgers are juicy, flavorful and delicious.
My only complaint is they have a dark parking lot and some lights out. It has an unsafe feel to it. I don’t see a lot of women stopping by at night for this exact reason. I know the neighborhood and feel safe here, so I come rain or shine.

Ok. so in theory, this should be a good burger. Similar in style to other freestyle patty establishments and marketing the calories, I figured it would at least have some flavor. I ordered the smallest ¹⁄₃ lb burger. They have ½ lb, 1 lb and a king size burger as well.
The product I got caused memories of old sitcom sketches where they squeeze the patty in their armpits. (PLEASE NOTE, THE RESTAURANT AND EMPLOYEES APPEARED VERY CLEAN AND I AM NOT IMPLYING ANY HEALTH HAZARDS)
Simply put, the oddly shaped, grey patty was unappetizing. Inside, not a shred of pink was to be found.
The 1 lb burger was simply 2 patties so looked just as unappetizing.
They upcharge you on everything so the three of us paid nearly $ 40.00 for two adult burger combos and a kids meal.
The buns were boring and soggy.
The burger tasted ok but lacked any special flavor. In fact, the tomatoes, pickles, onions, mustard and other toppings completely drowned out any possible flavor from the meat instead of enhancing it.
The fat fries were very good and you salt them yourself so that saved it from a 1 star review.

This review is simple.
Positives: Burgers are very good. Has a lot of flavor. Cooked fresh made to order. Onion rings are very good. Not too much breading like other places. From what I have seen so far, all the Fatburgers that are in the casinos are 24 hours. Fatburger for breakfast? Sure, why not? Milkshakes are genuine. Very smooth and you can taste the ice cream.
Negatives: Pricey. Their smallest burger starts at around 5 dollars going up to 10 for an XXL burger. Their biggest, which is the XXXL burger, will have you forking up some serious coin. These prices are just for the burgers. Of couse you can get all these with fries and drink for an additional charge. You can get fat or sknny fries. So you see a combo meal can get pretty expensive especially if you are feeding a family of 4 or more. They also have turkey burgers. I have ordered it twice. The first time it was overcooked so it was a bit dry and bland. The second time they didnt cook it thoroughly so it was a bit bloody still. Never again will I order the turkey burger. Those times were drive thru so I was too lazy to drive all the way back to complain and have it redone.
Service is decent. Of course you gotta wait awhile especially if the place is packed. All their locations have a retro 50’s, 60’s, 70’s rock and soul themes. Some locations even have a jukebox for your listening pleasure.
So overall, it’s a decent place to go to every so often. I just dont recommend the turkey burger.
