My doctor, Doctor Tang at M Family care recommended this group to me after the cardiologists, and their physician referrals at St. Rose De Lima failed me. From the minute I spoke with Adam on the phone, I knew I was in good hands. Blanca, the PA, all the doctors, and people who work there are AMAZING! They are ALWAYS busy, yet professional. The place is always spotless, and I am always given the attention I deserve. I have NEVER waited longer than 10 minutes to see a doctor. I am blessed to have such a fantastic group of medical professionals so close to my home! Thank you Adam, Blanca, and everyone in the office. You are ALL aces!!!

This was my first time here. The office is easy to find & lucky me very close to home. This was also my first time seeing a Cardiologist. I went to see Dr. Ivey, one that an ERMD that I work with highly recommended. I found it a little odd when I first walked into the office to find the check-out desk right there & the check-in desk on the opposite end. It makes sense on your way out from seeing the MD but not on arrival to the office. I was greeted right away & when I was told to go to the other end to check in a lady next to this person offered to get me checked in. What was her name you ask??? That’s a good question & I have NO idea. No one there was wearing a name tag nor did she introduce herself to me… hum! She was very nice & got me checked in right away. I found it amazing that the office was busy there was hardly anyone in there. I arrived about 10 minutes early for my appointment & found a nice cushioned chair(like one you may have @ home) to sit in. They also had your other standard doctor office chairs. Next thing I know the waiting room fills up with people waiting to been seen. Now HPN seems to be a big practice with several MD’s. I wasn’t surprised to be called back about 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment as most doctors are always running behind schedule. A lady called for me to come back. What was her name you ask? Hum! Once again I enquire another office staff member who has no name tag on nor bothers to introduce herself to me. Nor do I know if she was a nurse or medical assistant or what her title was??? She def. had no sense of humor when we went into the office to tell me how she had a scale in there. I was cracking a joke saying«Oh I’m soooo sorry to hear that!» She replies well it’s better then going out there to the other one. So I had to explain I was implying about being weighed, still then she didn’t think it was funny. She did an EKG on me, took my blood pressure got some info. from me & talked very highly of Dr. Ivey & she then left the room while I waited for Dr. Ivey who didn’t take very long to enter the room after the other girl left. Gotta say being a nurse in the medical field & dealing with many doctors I was very impressed with Dr. Ivey. She listened to me, never made me feel rushed told me the plan of care, what she wanted to do & what I needed to do. She was very professional & knowledgeable. I would give her 5 stars. I rated HPN4 stars due to the staff members & the check-in & check-out desks. I highly recommend Dr. Ivey if you need a trust worthily, smart, professional Cardiologist. I will be seeing her again & will highly recommend her to others when needed. A downfall I found is I need a heart monitor to borrow for a month to wear & wasn’t able to get one on the day of my appointment & I have to wait till the first week of Oct. to get one. It’s too bad they can’t increase the amount of monitors they carry if they are that popular. I’m just hoping when I go back to get one with instructions that I’m not going to be charged another office visit fee & have to wait long. I spent 1 hour &15 minutes in the office for my 1st appointment. Another downfall is I need a 2-D Echo(Ultrasound of the heart) & it is done in the office but I can’t get back in until the 2nd week of November… YIKES! Long waiting times… I liked the fact that Dr Ivey inquired on who my PMD is & told me she would be faxing over a dictation of our appointment to him. :-)
