Good food and lots of beer to pick from. The staff has been super nice and helpful both times we’ve been here. It does it pretty busy but that’s part of the fun. Love all the free games! Reminds me of being a kid!

Fun place. A few of the machines were broken but what can you expect with a bunch of adult-beverage drinking players running around the place. A little small but I heard they’re building another.

Great service, delicious food, good service mixed with free arcade games = WINNING! They also have an bit more upscalw bar connected that is more like a lounge with the same great menu!

I would add an extra star and come more often if during the day they would allow kids. The food is good but with this place being in a neighborhood I don’t understand why we can’t bring the kids at least until evening.

You’ve gotta see it to believe it. FREEARCADEGAMES! Each and every one of them is completely complimentary. We had the opportunity to hit the happy hour and grab a bite as well. The bacon wrapped corn dog was awesome, and the pulled pork sliders were delicious as well. I can’t wait for it to get a little warmer outside so I can enjoy their outdoor patio. All in all this place is a great alternative to the now closed Insert Coins.

The food is nothing to brag about. The customer service is ok. The only reason I like it is because of the free arcade games(even though they are in disrepair), free internet and football games since I pretty much only go on Sunday’s. The plus is that they are a niners bar and I hate the niners so I love watching them loose lol.

We like this place for the proximity to our house, beer specials, and the free arcade games. However, the food is pretty mediocre. Their happy hour food specials aren’t really specials as the portions aren’t worth the $ 5 you pay for them anyways. The wings are good but even with the special are $ 1 a wing. The fish and chips was pretty terrible: soggy and came with a sad crumbled pile of bagged potato chips. Pork sliders are solid but again, not really a great portion size. We have learned that if we are going to come here to watch a game– eat first and come here for the beer. We always go for the 70 oz beer tower of Kona Big Wave, it’s a great deal for $ 15. We do love their large, free arcade game selection!

Friday night: 6 guys, 3 girls. What should we do? HI-SCORES. Hi-Scores is more fun than its predecessor, Insert Coins, which is now closed btw. The games are free!!! The crowd is slightly older, more male heavy than your usual bar. The bar doesn’t get much busier on a Friday night than a Tuesday night. However, you’ll probably still have to use the Valet service to park– they have a really, really small lot! Extensive beer menu, no fancy cocktails. I paid $ 7 for my cider. Giant food menu– I’ll have to try it next time! Centipede, Frogger, Tetris were my favorite games there. However, they have a TON of games inside and outside for you to try. Drinking beer and making bets over who pays for the next drink = my favorite thing to do. Hi-Scores is pretty perfect. No pool table or your traditional bar games! But who cares, they have Tetris.

They have an amazing beer selection and great service! I just don’t love the food here. I expected it to have some amazing bar food and it just didn’t impress me. Also, as a bar/arcade you definitely get interesting groups of people coming in and interesting vibes depending on the night. It’s an easy place to just meet up with a group of friends, but definitely not our first choice-especially if we’re hungry.

Beer towers and Golden Tee are what brought me here on my friends 30th birthday. The objective of the day for him was to drink 30 pints of beer. We arrived at 11AM on Sunday and I made it until 10PM. There were many others coming and going as the day progressed. Hi-Scores did a good job of accommodating our group and they let us have a booth in the bar to leave our stuff and to set up food. The staff was very hospitable to us and they always have been every time I visit. The beer towers are $ 25 for domestic and everyone had a glass and were filling up as needed. Careful when pouring from the beer towers, everything is straight foam when it first starts coming out. The owner of Hi-Scores is the also the founder of the company that makes Golden Tee. Playing free Golden Tee(normally $ 3-$ 4/game) was all the bait I needed for them to hook me. Golden Tee and the other Incredible Technology games such as lawn darts, corn hole, bowling, and miniature golf are out on the patio and also a major draw for a lot of people. They’re fun multi-player games and there’s usually a crowd around them so grab a machine if it’s open. The package that my buddy got included about 4 – 5 rounds of trays of appetizers throughout the day. The appetizers included wings, pretzel bites, sliders, and bacon-wrapped corn dogs. Everything was tasty and great snacking for us throughout the day. By nightfall, the bar was probably 90% full. This place seems like it’s bumping every night. This was a memorable celebration and I have made a return trip since then. I will continue to come back because it’s convenient, because of the extensive beer selection, and because of the great atmosphere and service. By the way, my friend drank his 30 pints and survived. I’m sure his liver was really happy about putting in the overtime.

Spent an anniversary date night here. The place was packed(good sign). Reasonably priced drinks and appetizers. Cool atmosphere, cool games. Plus– Niners Bar! Fun little place that’s close to home. SCORE!(hehe)

This place was so incredibly confusing! I’d heard that they have a great beer selection, and we had some time to kill after eating nearby, so we stopped in on a Thursday night. When we pulled in to the parking lot, it was packed, which was a big surprise. There were literally no spots! The patio was full(completely), and when we entered the bar, we found that packed as well. I feel like we missed some memo about this being the Thursday hot spot in Henderson. It was very strange — everyone stared at my friend and I as we sat down. We thought we just walked in to an episode of The Walking Dead. I can’t explain how creepy it was. We had 1 beer and left. The bartender was super friendly and since the menu board was behind us, he gave us a paper menu to see the beer selection. More local bars should offer a beer selection like this place does. Can’t be that difficult — and based off the crowd, it looks to be a good move on their part! We didn’t eat or play any of the games, so I can’t comment on either of those things. I did also notice that this is a Niners bar, so I know where I WON’T be on football Sundays! This place has been open for awhile, and much longer than the previous business in this location, so they are doing something right!

On game day during football season this place is packed in with red & gold jerseys because this is a designated 49er football game zone! I only drop by during game day to watch the 49er games. So I don’t have much input on the arcade games because I’m busy watching the game people! What I do know is that there are plenty enough tv screens in the arcade area where you can view the game at any angle from where you are sitting. The tv screen sizes seemed to be on the smaller side though. The sound for all the tvs are piped in through one speaker in the arcade area… sometimes it isnot in sync with what’s going on in the bar or main area. Just by a few seconds though so when we cheer or groan, it sounds like a delayed reaction… lol Food…not too bad, not the greatest, but a few cool SF Bay Area favorites to choose from .ie clam chowder in sourdough bread bowl! These special appetizers called«Kaepersnacks» are set aside during the game only priced at $ 7 .after #7QB Kaepernick. Drinks.cant say much on that either since I don’t like or drink beer so .pass. Service…Take into consideration that it’s busy and they’re dealing crazy fans .with that said I have no complaints. The times I’ve been there, my order is taken and served promptly and then there are times when I just get my drink.eventually. Parking…PITA…It’s so busy that there’s no parking in their private parking lot. So get here early otherwise you’ll have to resort to parking in the dirt lot adjacent to the building. 4.90 stars… for repping the Niners with that lighted up marquee sign in the parking lot. It’s the place to gather for the Forty Niner Faithful to celebrate or commiserate. Go Niners!

Once I found out that HI-Scores has Ms. PacMan and other video games that you can play for free AND it’s a 49er bar, we’ve been here twice now to watch games. Somehow, both games we’ve watched have been the 49ers vs. the St. Louis Rams. The first game was better because it was the one where Unilocaler and violinist extraordinaire Bobby Y. performed the National Anthem and then we beat the Rams at their home. I also got to play about 6 games of Ms PacMan in between the hefeweizen, pretzel bites, and socializing with our friends. The second game we watched there is when we lost to the Rams, but I still managed to play Ms. PacMan,(Mr.) PacMan, Donkey Kong, Frogger, and pinball, as well as drink hard cider, eat pretzel bites, and socialize with our friends. You get the idea. We’ll be back for more football, good drinks, mediocre bar food, and nostalgic video game fun soon. PRO TIPs: –the parking lot can fill up quickly, so it spills over onto the dirt lot next to the bar. –check out the $ 7 game day specials menu. If you don’t get one when you arrive, ask your waiter/waitress for it before you order so you can check it out. –there are raffles during the 49er games for 49er stuff. You get free tickets with your orders and there are drawings after each quarter, half-time, and at the end of the game.

3 Stars for the food 4 Stars for their apps 3 Stars for the service 4 Stars for free old school video games 5 Stars for being a Niner’s Bar Sorry, can’t rate the drinks because I haven’t had one to drink. Let’s get the two most important things out of the way first. Number 1, HI-Scores has free Ms Pacman, pinball, and my favorite, Centipede. You don’t have to be an eighties kid to love these classics. Number 2: Who’s got it better than us? NOBODY! Yes, this is a Niner’s bar. Quest for 6, Baby!!! You down with SF, then you’re down with HI-Scores. Shehawks, Go Home! Lambs, Go Home! Cardinals, well you’re good this year. I will give you that. Besides being a Niner’s bar, Hi-Scores is spacious, the apps are pretty good, and the food is below average. Yeah, it’s a bar. So don’t expect the best meal in your life here. My suggestion, stay away from the bison burger and eat something before heading out here. As for service, it’s mixed for me. On one visit, service really sucked and my meal was comped. On another visit, it was great. Overall, I can’t bag on HI-Scores too much, especially since they know what’s up when it comes to football. Go Niners!!!

UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, CIRCLE, X. This is the pass code for The Simpsons arcade game that will unlock all the levels and get you some sweet extras. You’re welcome! I like this bar. Let’s go with the obvious here; they have multiple arcade and pinball games, the food here is well above par, and there’s a always rotating craft beer selection. The arcade games here vary from classics like; PacMan, Golden Tee,(for all the bar lovin’ digital golfers) and even an area for console gamers offering up PS3, XBOX360, and Wii. Here’s the best part, most of these games are free all day, everyday! The food, like I said, is really quite tasty. The last time I was here I tried the Chicken Satay, Chinese Meatballs, and I snacked on Bacon Wrapped Corn Dogs. Lets begin with the starters: The Chicken Satay was cooked perfect, very juicy, a little spice added with just a little crunch. The Chinese Meatballs caught me off guard, but in a good way. Who would of thought that a video game themed, craft beer bar would have a tasty meatball recipe. These were delicious meaty orbs of sweet & savory delight. Honesty, I couldn’t stop putting these balls in my mouth. After all that you’d think I be full, but the life of a glutton is a constant one. Like the waves crashing on a ocean… sometimes small, sometimes big, but always there. The meal finale was the Bacon Wrapped Corn Dog. They basically take an all beef tubular piece of meat, wrap it in bacon, coat it in batter, and fry it up! This was very good, but I mean after reading that description how can it be bad? This place has way too many beers to list in this review, but here’s a cool tip. On their menu along with the food description they also offer up a beer pairing with each item. Very cool idea! If you like getting your game on and a good beer to pair it with, this could be the place for you!

How can I not be a fan of a place that lets you play arcade games for free?! It’s like I’m finally getting my tax refund check for all those years I’ve paid to playing arcade games. They have lots of old school arcade games like the Simpsons and X-Men games, Pac-Man, Galaga, those video games you’ll find at some bars like golfing and bowling, pinball games, racing games, console games, etc. The other week I noticed that they had the Mortal Kombat game I was hooked on that for a while. Can’t wait for them to get Street Fighter 2. I’m down for a battle. Can we get some DDR and Time Crisis too? Besides the free games I like their alcohol. They have a good selection of craft beers and cocktails, all at reasonably priced. They often have drink special, one recent weekend they had $ 1 for selected shots and wines. There’s even a huge beer tower which I wouldn’t mind doing all by myself one of these days. I like their food menu. It’s not your typical bar food like just a burger, nachos, or pizza. It’s that and more. They have the BBQ Pork Fries which are fries topped with pulled pork, a bourbon BBQ sauce, cheese, bacon, and herbs it was a tasty small meal or snack between meals or between video game playing. They have Hangover Fries, Bacon Wrapped Corndogs, Bison Burger, braised short rib, mud pies, etc. This place is awesome just think of it as Insert Coin but free, in a neighborhood, and more chill atmosphere. The bartenders, owner, and other staff are always friendly. It’s a Niner’s bar. Oh yeah they have a nice Happy Hour. Everyday 10AM-7PM it’s $ 5 food specials, $ 4 Jim Bean and Jack, $ 4 select craft beers, and $ 3 well cocktails. Wait for football season I heard somewhere that they have $ 15100-ounce Bud Light beer towers haha you know I want that. It’s also still a bar so kids sorry you’re not allowed.

Ok, I absolutely LOVE this retro arcade bar. Great selection of beers. Great food. Free arcade games. Great place to come w/friends. Friendly servers. Price is average, I wanna say 5,14−16oz, beers cost around $ 30– forgot exactly cuz when you have 5 beers in one setting, things get a little fuzzy. I want to specifically mention the HANGOVERFRIES. I was a little skeptical at first, because of the chorizo, but one bite and you’ll wet your pants. I tried the Jalepeno sticks– uum– DE-LISH. A must try bar :)
