Mom’s Cleaners

I love this cleaner! I used to go to some other place off College, but I randomly decided to come here instead and I just wanted to clarify– it’s amazing! The prices are so cheap! I’ve been here a few more times than I would have liked (thanks, ripped jeans :)) but it’s awesome! Most hemming repairs, for tears, rips, etc., are only $ 7! That definitely fits my college budget and allows me to save my pants rather than go buy new ones. Definitely a fan. I once bought a cheap velvet dress at Savers for Halloween and brought it in (it was too big) and had the sides taken in, the sleeves taken off, and the hemline moved higher (a mid calf hem is flattering on not a single person, I don’t even care who you are). They did a great job, though it cost me $ 44, but still, it’s now this eclectic, one of a kind, customized dress that’s fun to wear when I’m feeling retro. Aside from the cheap prices is their turn around time! They work lightening fast! Everything is ready in 2 – 3 days, which is so convenient. The owners/​employees are nice, cordial quiet people and I don’t feel like they judge me for splitting the butt out of my pants (well I also don’t care if they’re judging me). If you live in the area I would definitely give this place a try! :)

Awesome customer service, and clothes came out perfectly. Pretty pricey, so I think In the future I will only bring certain items here.

Mom’s cleaners is a dry cleaning business that can’t clean clothes. I brought items to them several times when I got the clothes back they were not cleaned. I asked why they couldn’t get the spots out they told me too tough a stain. They also made me pay for it. It was a simple food stain. I went home and cleaned it myself. This happened 2x on the 3^rd time I told them I am not paying for this because I got the stains out myself. They insisted I pay and if I got the stain out to prove it and they would give me my money back. The whole time they were rude. When I brought the shirt back properly cleaned they took the money out of the register and through it at me! Yelling in their native language! I never once yelled I was stern but did nothing to provoke this. Since this experience I have learned many others have had problems with them, after speaking with customers at the cleaners a block down the street who have switched as well!
