My stylist was Briahna Rogers. There are no booster seats for kids to get their hair washed. So it was suggested to just dry cut them. I really wanted them washed but said fine. I thought there was a lower price for a dry cut as this could be an option in the future, but then was almost charged full price for a kid’s cut and wash. I’m thinking«how can you charge me for the kid wash when you didn’t wash them and said it would be easier to dry cut them because there are no booster seats»? When my kids walked back in the salon they just looked unfinished and I felt bad about paying $ 50($ 25 each, normally $ 30 each for the wash and trim) for their hair not being put together. So my daughter looked crazy when we went to dinner afterwards. So I’m confused by the salon stating it is kid friendly. Not really if you don’t have booster seats to accommodate young kids. So maybe«kid friendly» means for those who are 12 and over or tall enough to get their hair washed. I think the kids would do better in the chair if they were more comfortable sitting on the booster seat and I should not be charged for services not completed due to the salon not having the proper equipment to do them. I love the color in my hair. Had a baylayage treatment $ 150. I also had my ends trimmed $ 50. I think the front sides will need to be more blended in time. They look like gold streaks. But the back looks lovely. I wish my hair did not look like curly sue when I leave. I didn’t blow out my hair because it’s summer and beyond hot and I will be at the pool possibly sweating it out. So I kept it curly, I just wish my curls were styled in a way that shows them off without looking like a little kid. So I have to wait for the curls to drop and stretch out so I can look like an adult. I wasn’t pleased with the wait time. I’m pregnant now so I didn’t want to sit there 3 hours. But I showed on time for the appointment with the the kids but had to wait 30mins for the stylist to go eat lunch. I think break times should be scheduled. I should not have to wait because the stylist did not eat. The kids weren’t washed so they took about 5−10mins each. When it was my turn it took forever because the stylist kept walking away. I wasn’t sure if she went on another break or was getting product or what. She never said. She kept stopping to talk to other people in the salon about where they were going out afterwards. I’m thinking finish my hair so I can go. By the time I left I had been there 2.5−3hrs. But almost half that time was from waiting on her. I’m debating about whether or not to return. I tipped 15% $ 37.50 anyway given the issues I experienced, but I always try to tip well. I may just find a new place for the kids to get their hair done. If the new place can continue the color I just had done then I will just go there too to avoid multiple trips. I spent $ 287.50 total for me and the kids. I think overall the experience was different from my first encounter. The stylist seemed distracted and more concerned about going other places. Just a complete 180 from our first visit. So at this point I can’t tell what is the standard for her service because I’ve had two different experiences. That is a big mark in my book because I look for consistency in services I receive.

I have to give just 3 stars because I took my two daughters here and the first visit was a success because we had no issues with the stylist(Briahna) — my daughter’s hair was cut fine, and styled fine, nothing extraordinare. The second time it was another story; my other daughter walked in with beautifully defined curls and walked out with a «huge puff ball!» The stylist cut her hair and applied«product.» Apparently the mousse did nothing to her hair but make it into a huge puff ball with no longer defined curls vs. using a leave-in-conditioner to define her curls after sitting in the dryer. So, I was not impressed with the way my teen’s hair came out after the price paid. Now, we have to see what happens after we wash it and properly style/condition the hair at home, to actually critique the cut now. My impression was that the stylist had some limited knowledge of maintaining curly hair.

I was unable to get it with my normal colorist before leaving Houston and managed to get an appointment with Lexi Midby. She came to me highly recommend and I didn’t hesitate for a minute to use her talents. I was not disappointed. The atmosphere is causal, upbeat, and others at the salon were friendly and fun.

I had Kyle do my hair, but as I was there I wish Danielle or Alexa had done my hair. Danielle and Alexa both are so awesome with their customers. Their customer service skills are exceptional! I was listening/watching them both with their clients and regretted making an apt with Kyle. Kyle could work on his customer service skills/listening skills. Next time I go I’m definitely making an apt with Danielle or Alexa. 3 stars because I was not satisfied with the services I received, but believe the entire salon should not be punished for 1 person.

So pleased with my new haircut. Danielle did an amazing job! Definitely recommend going to radically curly. Very friendly environment. She first cut my hair natural without wetting it first. This way seems better then wetting it first just so you get every curl cut right.

Finally made my way back, and saw Arlene this time around! I was not disappointed! At first I was nervous, because it wasn’t Danielle, but I had faith in Arlene and she didn’t let me down. She added a little fun flair to my hair, which I loved! I kept getting compliments, and my husband LOVED it. These ladies are AWESOME. I’m definitely moving out of my comfort zone, with cutting my hair this short, but I’m LOVING it! I will be making my way in again, and maybe I’ll be brave enough to get a little color added to my cut! :)

I brought my 6 year old twin daughters in for a hair cut with Briahna. She did an amazing job. You can tell she loves kids. She cut it dry which is what you want. If you have curly hair and they cut it wet, you are at the wrong place! My daughters have very different hair types. I love the cut she did on both. She even gave them cute little braids when she was done. Briahna also gave me some tips on combing out their hair and let me try a new brush I had never seen(and promptly ordered on amazon). I appreciate the time she took with us. She never pressured me to buy products like some places do. I love their online scheduling system. So easy to see what they have open, price and book it.

I came in today as a walk in and Kyle was able to squeeze me in! I honestly have never been happier with my hair color. I’m from the Midwest but I’m honestly considering visiting vegas more often so he can do my hair. He did a trim, partial highlights, and base breaking. I am soooooo happy with my hair! Thank you kyle!

An absolute disappointment. My appointment was scheduled for 2:30, at 2:06 I get a call from Briahna asking if I could come at 3. I told her I was already on my way, but I’ll wait. When I arrived at 3, she was washing someones’ hair, and said to give her a few minutes. At about 3:30…“I’m sorry I’m running late, I just need to dry her hair”. Being that I had drove from the Northwest, and had been truly looking forward to this appointment all week… like a dummy I waited. I have lived in Vegas for 15 years and have gone to a beautician twice. This experience has told that it’s just not in the cards for to have my hair done in this town. I was scheduled for a «curly cut» and a «wash and go»…I left with my hair washed, ends trimmed(nothing near the pic of the shape I showed her), and a wet afro. To top it all off… I was probably IN the salon LESS time than I sat in the hallway waiting.

My hair was so long and without shape that I always had it in a bun. Even when I went to other salons, they would cut it but the waves would not get used to that cut. I found this place on Unilocal after looking for a curl specialist so that I would be able to leave my hair down and I found this salon. I love that you’re able to make an appointment for a consultation to tell them the type of cut you want and they tell you what they could do and recommend before you make an appointment for your cut. After my consultation, I went for my cut and treatment and I’m in love! Danielle gave my hair shape and kept my length! I loved how soft the products made my hair feel. I highly recommend this place and I also recommend Danielle. She’s super sweet and you could tell she loves what she does.

Was excited to find radically curly salon on Unilocal and was hoping my days of bad hair cuts were over. Booked an appt with the natural hair«specialist». On the website the curly cut service includes shampoo, wash, cut, style(wash n go or diffused for curlies). To start off, she was late. I came with my hair detangled in 2 flat twists. I showed her pics of my hair in a wash n go, to show her the shape and how I wanted the shape the SAME, just a trim. She says she’s got it. Picks up the scissors then and there and attempts to start cutting… my hair was just taken down from 2 strand flat twists, not even close to my natural curl pattern. Should’ve been a red flag and left then. I told her not to cut my hair like that, wouldn’t even be a curly cut and would come out uneven, which she should already know. Then I tell her what the curly cut description from the website said. Idk why the stylist wouldn’t even know the standard procedures of a service they’re supposed to provide. So we shampoo, condition, now she gets to cutting. Which still doesn’t seem right since she hadn’t even detangled my hair, which also equates to an uneven cut. That’s just common sense, to detangle before cutting or styling. But she assured me she’s a professional, knows what she’s doing. Section by section she pulls my hair out of its curls and cuts the ends. Seriously! She cuts my hair with my curls undefined and wet. When she’s done cutting, Entirely different shape than I had before and significantly shorter. To top it off, her next appt came in right as she started styling my hair, so she rushed the styling, bottom half of my head the curls were defined the top half they weren’t at all. Huge set back in my hair journey. Seriously disaster. Last time I let a stylist touch my hair with scissors. If you are a natural trying to retain your length and get an even hair cut, be weary. Protective styling for weeks.

FANTASTICINEVERYWAYPOSSIBLE! If you have curly hair then you’ve experienced some bad cuts… I can confidently say those days are over with Arlene and Radically Curly Salon. Arlene listened to my needs and concerns, was extremely patient while looking at photos of curly hairstyles and cuts I’ve been collecting and gave honest advice on what would work best for me. The owner of Radically Curly(Danielle) was so welcoming and friendly, interacting and offering suggestions to Arlene and myself. Arlene explained and educated me during all steps of my new hair color and cut, she took the time to show and explain several products that would work with my hair and the results I would see with each one. I HIGHLY recommend Arlene and the salon to anyone in need, all hair types are serviced and each stylist is fabulous at what they do. Hands down, the BEST service and results I have ever received. A HUGETHANKYOU to Arlene and Radically Curly!!!

A year ago I was in search for a place that knows how to handle my crazy curls and came across Radically Curly online. I took a chance and made an appointment with Arlene and it was the best chance I’ve ever taken in my life when it comes to my hair lol She always knows exactly what I’m looking for and even works her magic to reveal a finished product way more beautiful than I first pictured or hoped it would look like. All the beautiful stylish ladies there are so helpful, friendly and amazing. Wonderful service and results each and every time.

This salon is absolutely fantastic! My friend was getting married(I was a bridesmaid) and they did the most amazing job — also within a week’s notice(I’m a procrastinator). I brought in a few reference photos for the hair and make up and consulted with the stylists there on what would be the best choice. Arlene helped me decide on a beautiful braided half-up do, then took it to the next level by fish tailing all of the braids — love! Mimi did my makeup and she was incredible — again, we looked at a few photos for reference but I deferred to her when deciding the details(like the style of the shadow on my lid). I can honestly say that my makeup has never looked better for a big event :) Plus, she taught me a few new tricks while going through the process! The ladies here are awesome and I’ll be booking all of my hair and makeup needs with them from here on out.

I had so much anxiety about finding a good curly hair salon here… that it took me an entire year to get over it and get my hair trimmed. Let me tell you, Briahna at Radically Curly had me at «You want a mimosa?» Finding the salon is going to be interesting your first try because its in a Sola Salon space… which seems to be like Salon Lofts where I’m from… but instead of individual beautician space, there seems to be entire salons all grouped in one space. So I headed in to the Sola Salon soace back to suite #44. Not going to lie, it’s a pretty tiny space… BUT given that you show up as scheduled, they seem to be good at getting you situated in your chair quickly to get on to the hair do’in’. There were approximately 4 stylists with clients in the salon when I went and though it was cozy, it was not cramped. I felt like I had found«my place»…everyone was friendly, other stylists and clients alike. After confessing to Briahna the torment I had put my hair through with coloring and self trims, it was time to begin the cut. Briahna was REALLY good about explaining what she was doing before and during the cut… and letting me know what the cut would be doing for the shape of my hair. She cut my hair dry and as I had it upon walking in, which was my first sign that she knows what she’s doing! I LOVEMYCUT! The shape of my hair is more defined and works so much better with my curls… there aren’t dead ends poking out and about like before. It’s exactly what I wanted and the best part was that I didn’t even have to reference anything. Briahna used Shea Moisture products which was an additional plus, as that’s the natural products that I use at home. I I love that I’ve found a curly salon here in my new home city. I was nervous that I’d have to fly back home for hair cuts, but now that I’ve found Briahna at Radically Curly I don’t have to worry! :)

My experience with Danielle Green from RadicallyCurly was amazing. Just give me a sec to tell you about it. I have naturally Mexican/Latina, curly, course hair, similar to African American hair and I’ve needed a haircut for over a year and a half now, but never could find some one who knows how to cut curly hair where we live(San Gabriel Valley, CA). So I was sad to leave with no hair cut for our wedding inside EDC. We had so many bumps in the road but my wife found the time to find RadicallyCurly and booked my appointment with Danielle the last day we were in Vegas. We came in and immediately the vibe was happy and welcoming. I was so happy to meet Danielle and she was so sweet to me and listened and understood everything I wanted in my haircut. She washed my hair and dried my curly hair on low warm to cold heat, to learn my curl. My hair already looked a million times better, even before cutting my hair. Then she started cutting my hair in its natural, curly state and made me move my head in every angle to cut just the right amount. My hair is thick on top, but thin at the bottom due to my stress(that’s my bad lol.) Danielle hooked me up! She took off all the thin/dead hair I had and gave me the big Diana Ross/Tracee Ellis Ross hair I always wanted. She made me feel like a new women. I can now wear my curly hair down and big and not have it in my way. I also loved finding out she grew up in the business and absolutely loves cutting hair. She also never stops educating herself on all things hair. Needless to say I will come back to Vegas from Cali just to get my curly hair cuts from now on by Danielle Green. We have been planning our wedding inside the EDC festival for a whole year. Through out the whole year I was sick and in the hospital off and on. Needless to say I was getting very depressed but kept on trucking for the love of my family. So from bottom of my heart Daneille, thank you very much. Veronica Chang p.s my only regret is that I didnt get a picture with her. see you soon Girl.

4.5 star review! I got my hair cut here about a month ago and I was really pleased with the end result. I hadn’t had a good cut in a long time and I left with my hair feeling lighter and definitely refreshed! I’d never gotten a «curly cut» haircut before and I was really happy with the explanation and reasoning behind why they cut the hair while it’s dry, etc. My stylist was definitely interested in what kind of look I was going for and asked me questions about my styling habits, the last time I got my hair cut, and explained the best cut for my type of curls. The actual salon is just a small room inside a bigger building, so it’s a pretty intimate setting. I would’ve given a 5 star review, but I felt my overall experience with my stylist was kind of lacking. I’m used to a lot of interaction with my hairdresser throughout the cut and I felt like that was sort of nonexistent in this case. It’s not something that would deter me from returning to the salon, but it just seemed like she wanted to get me in and out as quick as possible. The online scheduling option was something I really liked as well! It made it really easy to pick what service you wanted, the stylist, date, and time all in one section.
