Excellent neighborhood park with a playground, some short paths, a grassy field for play, and a softball field.
The park is right along Silver Springs Parkway with a newer playground and jungle gym installed on top of recycled plastic spongy mats (where was this when I was a kid? It could have saved numerous cuts and bruises). A small path runs along the playground and around a grassy field, where you will often find a small soccer or football game, kids running in circles, or a Boot Camp classes getting in a tough workout.
The path continues along some desert landscaping and trees and wraps around a full-​size softball /​baseball field. During the spring, there will often be a youth-​league game being played on the field. But in the off-​season, it’s a good spot to practice fielding ground balls.
All in all, it’s a nice spot to bring the kids to play, have a picnic, or have a walk.

We stumbled upon this very cute park while house-​searching in Henderson.
Located close to Gibson Elementary, this adorable park apparently has been renovated and in good condition. It features lighted ball fields and tennis courts, a covered picnic shelter and picnic tables, multi-​purpose playing fields, two little playgrounds for kids, and even an amphitheater!
It was very hot today to stick around for very long, but we’ll definitely be back when there’s better weather!
