The most amazing cardiologist! My husband & I are able to enjoy life because of this man His instincts are right on, he’s wicked– smart, AND he’s got a great sense of humor. About 5years ago, my husband had chronic heartburn and family history of heart disease & stroke. Dr. Kochy Tang’s office (another AMAZING doctor) sent him to ER, but stress test showed nothing. Upon follow-​up with Dr. Kalla, he just wasn’t comfortable with what he was hearing/​seeing regardless of the stress test results. He recommended an angio — so glad he did! He recommended a colleague perform the procedure (he was going out of town) and didn’t want my husband to wait. Two major arteries clogged, one at 90% and the other more than 80%. My husband was a ticking time bomb and now he is healthy, active (plays soccer) and happy! I was referred to him by Dr. Kochy Tang for tachycardia and visual disturbances. Again, his instincts were right on! He recommended a TEE and found a PFO. Immediately put me on blood thinners and referred me to Dr. Saibal Kar @Cedars Sinai for the closure. Thank you Dr. Kalla!
