Supercuts

Robin Hodor engaged in mindless banter with the client before me for an extra half hour while I waited listening to their drivel about bashing other people and the local rumor mill. The haircut was decent but it took 1.5 hours from the time I walked in the door, I’m a dude looking for a simple haircut. Ughh.

Over the decades I had many people cut my hair. I had 100 dollar haircuts and 10 dollar haircuts, bad and good ones in both categories and whenever I found somebody who was good, I sticked with them. But I move, or the hairdressers move and then you have to go on that frightening search for a new one, who will not butcher your hair.
Today by pure luck I found one of those good ones in, of all places, a Supercut. Nothing against Supercut, but usually I would go there just for a trim or whenever I absolutely had no time to go through a whole salon visit.
I already knew, when I saw the young lady who was assigned to me, that she was good, because she herself had a good haircut and was beautifully styled. This is important to me. Too often I find that stylists have chosen the wrong hairdo for themselves and immediately I am doubtful that they are the artist I am looking for. For let us face it, a good stylist is an artist.
I explained to Robin what I wanted and immediately when she started cutting I knew I was in the hands of a pro and an artist. Robin was completely concentrated on her work. I got exactly what I wanted and a super haircut for a bargain price. Robin works at the Supercut location in the shopping center at 334 W. Lake Mead Pkwy and Boulder Highway in Henderson (not on Thursday and Friday). Highly recommend her if your are looking for a new stylist, regardless if you have a lot of money or not so much. Her haircut was worth much more money than Supercut charges.

I’ve been going here for a couple months and honestly I wouldn’t ever go anywhere else. Morgana is the best ever. I have really short hair and everytime I come in she greets me and immediately gets to work. She doesn’t ask what I want she just knows. She’s fantastic. Also in addition to how awesome Morgana is the other staff members are pretty dope as well. Everyone here is super friendly. Five stars for you morgana! You go morgana!

I noticed I was getting different prices from different stylists. I go in very often having a short cut. Occasionally they only trim my sides, nothing done with the top of my head. For the side trim, two stylists charged full price while another stylist actually charges for a trim which is half the cost. Supercuts also doesn’t offer military discounts. I now go to Great Clips… They offer the same services and a military discount.
Supercuts needs to step up their game if the want to keep customers.

I love Kris she is AMAZING I have had sooo many people compliment my hair and ask where I get it done!!! Every time I go in she just get it right no matter what style or cut I ask for!!!’

Shelby was very personable and a great stylist! I usually always have a good experience at this Supercuts.

Actually I’m pretty pissed off, no how about really pissed. To be God honest pissed dose t even begin to describe my utter dissatisfaction. If you need a haircut just do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else.
I wouldn’t be so mad if I hadn’t told them I wasn’t even really there for a hair cut in the first place just a fade up the sides and like a blend with the top but that’s it, Well…
Somewhere there was a miss communication… Somewhere in between just the sides and the part where the girl next door started hacking at the top of my head. So I’ve gone from just needing a trim, to having to shave it of and start over
All apologize, but I didn’t ask for a Channing Tatum but I should have figured, this not being the first time you’ve completely fell below the expectations of a paid service, I will be asking for my money back and then some.

It is ridiculous that you check in online & it says 10mins. You rush down to the salon only to sit there for 20+ mins. Mind you as we’re sitting here one hairstylist walks into, I’m guessing to start her shift, another finishes a haircut about the same time but half cleans her station then disappears into the break room. All meanwhile we’ve been sitting here for over 25mins. The only hairstylist who is actually trying to hurry finally finishes the haircut she’s been half down with since we walked in. No one has spoken a word to us except to say «we’ll be with you in a minute».
Finally, the girl who walked into begin her shift, 10mins ago, asked what our name was & if we’re ready. Ha. Let’s see how the haircut turns out.
Haircut was good. The stylist was polite.
But we will not be back. A good cut doesn’t excuse how poorly we were treated.

First time I went there, had a young kid hairdresser with purple or green hair. She had about 2 years experience. I just want a short layered haircut, brought picture to show. She was friendly and chatted the whole time. Never gave me the mirror to see the back. When I got home I found out why — she made a big indentation at one side of the hairline at the back! She should have corrected it, or tell me honestly of her mistake. Never going back.

Annoyed that they didn’t even check me in. All the lady said was be with you in a moment. 15 minutes I walked out and went to Great clips (way better experience there) on horizon parkway.
