What more can you ask for? All the beer and wine you need, right near the beach! And if it’s an extra hot day, they have a cold ice cream waiting. They were super friendly to me. I didn’t get any ice cream but I was excited by the idea of it being an option.

What an amazing local convenience and liquor store. Dawn to Dusk Liquor is perfect for those quick items you need in a pinch. They also offer quite a vast selection of beer, wine, champagne and other spirits. All of the cashiers are knowledgeable and friendly and are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure their customers leave with a pleasant experience. They are competitively priced and the store is always clean and orderly. I frequent this store 3 – 4 times a week and I always leave smiling and look forward to my next visit.

Every time I come here, which is not often, I always get a hilarious assortment of cashiers. One is a young man, he mostly cares about talking to his friends that help him kill time during his job shift. He will answer you with one or two word sentences(ATBEST) if you inquire with him. «more expensive», «no» «uh-huh»… Real lively character this one. To top it off, he has the most lackadaisical of looks when you attempt to ask him a question. The next is an older man, he is atypical of most older men, who, when they see a young person looking through the aisles of their store, will watch you intently. I believe in my case, It can be referred to «shopping while coloured» However, that confuses me immensely, considering the young cashier could be ascribed to the same situation that I received from the older cashier. All in all, I have never purchased a thing here, mostly due to the part that one cashier was unwilling to even make eye contact when I approached the register, and the other? Just a play-by-play of what is reminiscent of «the good ‘ol days» Would not shoppe here, EVER. It bereaves me that so many people do not take the kinder service that is given at a delicatessen just up the block from here, with a higher quality of items, and cheaper prices.

I usually just go here for beer and snacks, or maybe some wine if I don’t feel like driving to Vons. Their beer selection is pretty reliable(Fat Tire, seasonal New Belgiums). I was once chastized by the cashier for trying to buy some of their Ben & Jerry’s because it was so outrageously overpriced. What’s that about?
