I went to wash a blanket. I stuffed it in a regular size washer for $ 3. The big washers were close to $ 6. Dryers deceived me. I thought it was 25c. I was mistaken. It’s 25 cents for 10 minutes. There’s plenty of parking. I had the blanket in the dryer while I ran errands.

The machines are old and some have algae growing in them. My clothes come out with stains.

Pacific Coast Laundry(«Family Laundry Center») is located off PCH and shares a parking lot with the liquor store next door Hermosa Wine & Spirits. This is a large laundromat with plenty of machines and counter space. Although there always seems to be patrons washing multiple loads, I’ve never had a problem getting a machine for my own 3+ loads. They offer machines for larger items too(i.e. comforters) which is convenient. The prices are very reasonable… For the normal size machines it’s $ 1.50 for wash and $ 0.25/10min of drying. I recommend 2 cycles(20 mins) of drying or else most of your items come out damp. The dryers are large enough that you can usually fit in 2 wash loads if the items aren’t too heavy(heavy = towels/jeans/jackets). There is a change dispenser as well as detergent for purchase(machine). If you’re too busy/lazy to do your own laundry, they offer laundry services too… just go to the little office inside for pricing/info. NOTE: If you’re female, I recommend doing your laundry during the light hours or with a friend in the evening as there are oftentimes questionable characters wandering the parking lot. This will remain our go-to laundromat due to it’s convenient location with parking, numerous machines, and good pricing.
