I have been with Dr. Barr/​Dr. Chu for 25 years. My Husband and son have been seeing Dr. Chu for 7 years now.
I have to say that Dr. Chu has gone above and beyond what any optometrist would do to make sure my contacts and glasses are comfortable. I’ve had some issues with the contacts from a particular maker falling apart, and I brought it to Dr. Chu’s attention he immediately called the manufacturer and made sure I had a new box at no charge. He has a good selection of glasses that fit my husbands large head (ha ha ha)! I really love Dr. Chu for what he does for me and my family to make sure our eyecare is of the highest standards! I wouldn’t go to anyone else he is fantastic!

I have been going to Dr. Chu for the past 5 years and he always goes above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable and know what’s going on with my vision (I was very blind and had to wear –7.50 contacts and was interested in LASIK). He has been my follow up optometrist after getting LASIK/​PRK in January and from the beginning has been super open and honest on the process and post recovery. The office always has parking, is clean and the staff is very friendly! I always look forward to my appointments and catching up with him as well. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone in the South Bay area.

I organized a last-​minute trip to Brazil to watch the World Cup. 48 hours before my flight I terribly scratched my glasses. I’m very happy to report the doctor actually sent his wife to the lab to get my glasses repaired, just so I can properly watch the World Cup.
This man really cares about vision!!!
