This cleaner is for professional alteration!!! Mrs. Lee she altered wedding dress and suits, which turned out to be perfect. There is few cheaper cleaners around my place, but i bring all my cashmere/​wool sweaters for dry cleaning to this cleaner becuz i dont want to ruin my expensive sweaters!!! They charge what is worth for! Very friendly family owned business!

Very friendly, pleasant people! Family owned, and good quality service. Basically everything America needs to fight for right now. I’ll keep coming if they can maintain this streak for me. Tell your friends!

Best dry cleaners I have ever been to. The staff is friendly and courteous. They remember me and ask me about my day/​weekend. But more importantly they perform great services. My clothes are always perfectly cleaned. I’ve gone in with the worst spots (even paint) and they’ve gotten them out. I’ve also used their alterations service which is excellent! This isn’t even the closest dry cleaners or on my way home but it’s the BEST! Well worth the few extra miles!

These folks are very accommodating. I brought a suit, shirt, and tie here and needed them cleaned in time for a funeral. Thankfully, they were able to turn everything around in the short timeframe needed, and they did a fantastic job. Thank you. This is a place I’d go again.

Maybe it was a first-​timer hiccup. I was encouraged at first because the young man who works here called me same-​day to confirm that a blouse that was mixed in w/​my dress shirts would be dry-​cleaned. But then when I go to pick up my dry-​cleaning, I’m waiting 20 minute or so because the woman who was working 1) couldn’t really communicate what the problem was (language barrier) and 2) couldn’t find half of my clothes because the young man (her son, I believe) had a different method of putting things away. Get it together, people!
Pricing seemed to be a little more expensive than what I had been accustomed to in Arlington, and the customer service fell short. After making me come back to get the 2^nd load, a discount for their miscommunication would have been nice.
I’m going to try some other places in the area.

On a whim, I decided to try Worldgate Cleaners — what a pleasant experience! Staff was friendly and accommodating, clothes were finished professionally and ready as promised, pricing was quite reasonable. I’m coming here from now on!

The new owners are very friendly and place looks much better than what was before.
Pricing is fair, and they are very flexible if it is absolutely necessary. Laundered shirts have their good days and not so great days, but the dry cleaning is always spot on and neatly done.
I appreciate the level of quality with the alterations. There is a tailor shop nearby that I would never go to again. I brought my things in here and they got it on the first try. If you have a special circumstance they will try to accommodate the best that they can. All in all it’s a great place, with a great new look.

Dont’ go here unless you want to get ripped off! I took 6 shirts here for launder and press. They looked over the shirts and gave me the quote/​receipt. Upon pick up, the price was over DOUBLE!!! They stated that they «felt» that 3 of the shirts needed to be dry cleaned (cotton shirts, nothing special), and preceded to dry clean them without my authorization. Obviously trying to get a quick buck… poor business practices that will keep this potential long time customer from ever coming back there again!

I tried this place based on the Unilocal reviews.
I took in an expensive man’s suit to be dry cleaned, and they said it would be ready in four days. So I went to pick it up, and it had not been cleaned yet. I was told to come back the next day. I did, but it took them about 10 minutes to find the suit. I was a tad nervous that 1) they had lost the suit, or 2) it still hadn’t been cleaned and my husband was leaving on a business trip the next day!
I will not be back.

This place is the absolute best. I am always greeted with a warm smile and excellent customer service. Prices are fair and I spend less here than I did at other cleaners that were sub par in terms of service, prices and turn around time. As long as I live in Herndon I will always use Worldgate Cleaners.

I have had really mixed experiences here with the previous and new owners. I was hesitant with the new management because I am very particular, but they seemed nice to I gave it a shot and though I had issues (e.g. my husbands hisrts had the same consistent wrinkle and my shirt had the starch burn marks) they did an excellent job when I brought the items back so I know they can. I just think they have a quality control issue vice incapable. This may get worked out over time.
Prices are good and I would try again for dry cleaning. I do NOT recommend them for laundering and tailoring of anything beyond straight hems.
Update: I’ve stuck with it because most alternatives I’ve tried are not great and they seem to have hit their stride. This is now the place I use for dry cleaning. I still only bring my stuff as they do seem challenged to avoid any wrinkles at the bottom of my husbands shirts and at 6’6″ they are not always hidden from being tucked in!

I just moved to Herndon recently and started a job that requires clothes that need to be dry cleaned.
Since I’ve spent a fortune on my new clothes, I wanted to find a good dry cleaners. I’ve tried a couple of them and both of them forgot my belt… twice. I had to go back multiple times to retrieve my lost item.
The cleaner seems to be a lot smaller than the others that I’ve been to, but I think it’s just a smaller counter area and a larger dry cleaning area.
I’ve been there for about a couple of months now and they’ve been great. Clothes cleaned, no items lost. Overall very happy with the experience.

I’m surprised by the negative post below as I’ve been going to this cleaners for almost 18 years and have never had a bad experience with them. On a couple occasions where I had asked them to re-​do an item of clothing they had no problem doing that at all.
I know the owner and his wife are Chinese and they don’t speak English very well but they’ve always been very nice to me and have always taken good care of my clothing so this negative post really does surprise me when I’ve been going here far longer and not once was treated with disrespect not to mention they’ve always done a good job on my dry cleaning.
