So my husband went here to get a fuel hose for my sons car, and after it was replaced we noticed it was still leaking gas a lot. So we took it into pepboys and they showed us where the hose had a huge bubble and ready to explode anytime. The manager at pepboys told us that they had given us a radiator hose, and when they ordered the part for the car said it was a dealer only part. We could of all 3 lost our lives, very dangerous. After several phone call attempts and manager never in, we finally got a hold of manager who told us to bring it in and the paper from pepboys. After driving 15 miles wasting gas the manager refused to do anything because we didn’t have the part, we were told we couldn’t get cash but a discount. What makes you think I want to buy another par after this. We told pepboys and they were nice to give us the $ 40. refund. Doesn’t make sense they can do discount but not cash, yeah they just want to rip us off again. Moral of this story, I will never ever shop Napa again, I wouldn’t even take a child’s toy car to them. Reporting them to automotive bbb.

I definitely recommend this location for when you are in a bind and need to find a solution for an out of the ordinary application. They have helped me more than once when I needed a non standard part. For example, the following was the last situation. I was in the middle of redoing a supercharger install and needed to change the belts and pulleys. Being that the company that originally built the kit is now out of business there were no direct replacements for the parts. The guys at Napa were able to reverse engineer my old parts and find suitable replacements. Most of the other auto parts shops in the area employ people with significantly less experience, and I have had more than once needed to return the wrong parts for even standard normal maintenance items like filters and bushings, etc. Those places may be 10% cheaper on price, but time is money and I don’t like to fix something twice. Save yourself the time and go to the right place first.

ive been going here for years, even at the old location at main and third. prices can be out of line, but they have alot of hard to find stuff. i build alot of custom cars and buggys and always need some oddball thing for a 1940 whatever. service is pretty good, except for Columbo, that guy is an idiot and cant get anything right. i cant believe he works there. wait in line for the next guy, or gal to help you.

I drive a lot. I really do. I am not joking around when I say that I am almost never home. As a matter of fact, ecologists may accuse me of being a major contributor to the bad environment because of the amount of driving that I do. So, I rely heavily on my vehicle. I try to give my car the best treatment I can possibly give it and since I am driving a rare vehicle(rare as in you hardly see the Korean vehicle that is my KIASPECTRA5 on the freeway), sometimes it’s just difficult to find parts. And it is… there are parts to parts on my car… but that’s a different review. I am a regular customer at Autozone(when I fixed my own brakes, bought it here; when I changed my own oil, bought it here, etc.) and when something is not at Autozone, head to Kragen. Unfortunately, neither store had the rear windshield wiper that I needed to replace. Wal-mart didn’t even have it! I was ready to cry thinking I had to go back to KIA to pay a possible $ 60 just for new windshield wipers(that’s only my estimate). Then, one night, as I struggled to remove the old rear windshield wiper because I put it on the wrong way, a local came to my rescue, removed it for me and recommended, «Napa Auto Parts, just down the street.» Autozone failed me. Kragen failed me. Wal-mart failed me. Walked in, showed the gentleman behind the counter my windshield wiper, muttered my lack of surprise if they didn’t have it in stock, he looked at the computer, and said, «I’ll be back.» Within seconds, shows up with a windshield wiper for my car in which I respectfully responded with, «Oh, shit.» Surprised and happy, the transaction went well, he added, «As you can see, we have plenty of things here.» True story. The placed was packed with all kinds of car and truck things. I paid and went on my way. Long story short. If you can’t find it anywhere else, might as well head to the mecca of auto supplies.
