I have had three different occasions needing garage door service or repairs on rental properties. In each instance, Gerald Palacios of Pacific West Overhead Door provided what I needed on the day I contacted him, and he did it at a very reasonable price. Prompt, professional, reasonable and friendly… I very highly recommend Pacific West Overhead Door.

Don’t waste your time calling them. I called twice and left a message and never got a call back. They said «we are having trouble with our phones, but leave a message and we will call you back». Now it’s raining and my garage door is leaking tons of water and will have to spend the next hour (s)moving things to higher ground. My garage door wouldn’t open fully the morning after I moved in to my new house. Called Pacific West and Jerry said he could come in that same morning. He arrived within a half hour, inspected the door, and said he’ll service it first to see if that works. He and his associate lubricated the chain assembly and got the door working immediately.
I’ve never had my own garage and didn’t know anything about garage doors. Jerry could’ve scammed me by saying I needed a new door and I would’ve believed him. Instead, he fixed it on the spot and I saved a whole lot of money.

When tenants moved out, the garage door was nearly destroyed. I found this company from the Unilocal with two five-​star feed back. With a little skepticism I called for repair. Jerry and his partner arrived, very quickly checked the garage and did quick fix. However, the results was not satisfactory. Jerry said it is a waste of money trying to repair the door which is beyond fix. I listened and asked Jerry to install a new garage door. Amazingly, without me on the property, Jerry installed the garage door and towed away the old door. Called a quite a few for quotes but did not get the «warm and fuzzies».Spoke to Jerry and he suggested a courtesy inspection if the «bent doors» could be repaired or a panel replaced. Well as I suspected manufacture of our door closed business and confirmed my research as well these door panels are not interchangable. Great quote, prompt service appointment, as well as Bill (Jerrys Brother) Showed as planned and had a new garage door within 1 ½ hrs. Family run business and it shows in their pride. Also saved a few $$ utilitizing some parts off mine. Great service great price and highly reccomended.
