Moca Asian Bistro

One of our frequently visited restaurants. The sushi has always been good and the pineapple martini is awesome.
We come here at least once every two months and have yet to be disappointed.
The atmosphere is great for a nice date!

My favourite restaurant to go! I’m so happy, that I have this place 5 min away from my house. Always good food, good service and great ambience.

It’s like they just gave up here. Wait staff doesn’t seem to be happy about being there. They didn’t care that they brought us the wrong order and that 4 people got entrées at 4 different times. Peking Duck was just a blob of soggy fat skin and tasteless duck meat. For 4 people they gave us 6 pancakes and then charged us for an extra 3 after waiting to receive the 1^st batch 5 min. after they put the duck on the table. The filet mignon was sliced so thin it shredded before you could place it on the stone for cooking. I think this place has seen better days and is just riding out the time until there lease is over or the board of health catches on and shuts them down. We were afraid to even order any Sushi or Rolls because what we saw on other patrons tables looked sloppily prepared and unappetizing as well.

Well, I had a really interesting night at Moca. I expected a nice, quiet night with my wife; but then we were met by our waitresss.
She was basically wasted the entire time– first, I ordered a drink and she came back and spilled the drink on me. Then, when cleaning it up, she started playing with my hair (my wife was sitting next to me!)
After the meal, she gives me the bill, and I give her the bare minimum tip, because she was WASTED and serving us food.
As I’m walking out, she confronts me about my bill and asks why I didn’t give her a big tip. I’m just trying to get away from this drunk girl, as she now starts to scream obscenities at me.
Then, I walk outside, and as I’m getting into my car, another patron tells me she changed the tip amount on my bill (!)
I go back and ask to see my bill– sure enough, another $ 10 is out on my tip. Her response «Oh, I thought you said put another $ 10 on there.»
Can’t believe that even just happened.

Service was rushed. Order incorrect. Salmon instead of shrimp. White rice instead of brown. Not remarkable food. Pretty and air conditioned are the positives.

Great food, great atmosphere. It’s a nice night out. There is a lot on the menu choose from. I recommend the Mongolian chicken or Steak. They are amazing.

Service and food was excellent great for a date. Celebrated one yr anniversary. Had pineapple fried rice, ribs, sushi pizza, shrimp dumpling and a triple sushi choice… yummmm

This place would get 0 stars if I could give it. Saturday it opens at «12:30». A group of about 10 of us arrived around 12:20 today and found it very odd that it was very dark in there and not a soul was in sight seeing as the restaurant was supposed to open in 10 minutes but no worries. We waited outside. 12:30 comes still no one. Finally around 12:35 a group of about 10 – 20 employees arrive, see us waiting, and one guy says «you guys are early today». Ummmm no, you guys are late restaurant is supposed to open at 12:30. So they go inside. One guy actually goes in smoking some sort of pipe or whatever it is he was smoking and blows the smoke as we are standing there. First of all why are you walking into the restaurant smoking that’s unsanitary. Second of all don’t blow your smoke like we aren’t standing here! So we stand outside for about another 10 minutes. Finally one of my friends decides to go inside and the guy standing in the hallway tells her to leave because they aren’t ready yet. This is just absolutely unacceptable. If you show up late as it is you need to make sure u open when you get there. So we decided to walk two doors over to Marinara’s Italian restaurant. The food was AMAZING and service was awesome. Apparently moca doesn’t mind losing business. Never going back

I love the foods of moca, the staffs of moca. They just like my family .The oyster and the sashimisis are so great .I just don get it that those people out of town who came to moca doesn’t leave decent tips. That’s their only income for those nice servers, If you don want to tip, please order take out or go to Mcdonarld …

The food is good I order the pad thai with chicken is so good and the indian pan cakes is really good deff coming back here again nice fresh and friendly :)

Love this restaurant. Peking duck is amazing! Love the Chilean bass. It is a good restaurant for Saturday night as well as Tuesday lunch. Service has always been excellent. I was surprised at how out of town people want to go to Moca but not leave a decent tip. Order take out if you don’t want to tip. Stay home cheapees!!! People work for a living.

Service was amongst the worst I’ve ever seen. Waitress placed the bill on our table before we even got the dessert portion of our meal! It also made us feel uncomfortable that the waitress constantly kept eyeballing our table to see if we had put down our payment. I was stopped in the parking lot by a waiter who felt I had left a low gratuity amount and demanded an explanation. Needless to say I gave him an honest explanation.

This place is horrible. They must under new management or something. Twice I’ve had a bad experience there and I used to go here for eight years prior. First was a waitress lectured my friend and I about a tip. Literally begging us to give her more because she claimed she would have to share it with the entire staff. And then when we didn’t give more another waitress ran after us outside the restaurant to ask why with the bill in hand. Second the hostess at the front is super rude and has the worst attitude! I’m never going here again. They have literally let this place go to the dogs.

Wild gimger and xaga are both cheaper and way better.

What a great place to come and eat, drink and relax. The staff is so friendly it felt like home. I had the pineapple rice. It was great. My dessert was so over the top, but so good. If your in the area you must stop in! Enjoy

When I’m in town I always go for happy hour (Saturday and Sunday afternoon). The drinks never disappoint and the service has always been great. I don’t love their sushi but the red snapper entrée and fried Oreos are great!

This place was pretty good when it first opened, but it has gone way done hill since then. The last time that I was there the sushi was no better than one of those all-​u-​can-​eat places. The service wasn’t great either. I won’t be returning.

Great food, great price. I tried sushi for the first time here and loved it. They give you mpre than enough food and its delicious. The only bad thing I could say is they could probably replace some furniture. But if your not going for a scenery, the place is great.

My family members have been raving about this place for about a year now. I have been coming here for the past three months. I have to say the quality of the good has been exceptionally above average. I have never been dissatisfied :-). Eating in, service is exceptional, food is exceptional. Take out (in person & online has been exceptional as well. All U can say is keep up the fantastic job! Host and bartender are fantastic! Service is great off peak hours and peak! This place is must!

Moca is about 2 minutes from my house. I went once during a time of desperation during a snow storm a few years ago, but I’ve never had the desire to go back. Now I remember why.
I ordered take out… miso soup, General Tso’s chicken, and Crispy Sesame Chicken. The total was a whopping $ 35. That is very expensive for Chinese take out.
How they managed to make both dishes tasteless yet taste exactly the same is beyond me. It wasn’t even a large portion.
I’ll stick to cheap Chinese take-​out next time. At least it has flavor.
Bumped up a star because of the nice décor (although this is redundant for take-​out) and the employees are nice.
