IHOP

First I would like to say I wish I could leave 0 stars.
This «iHop» location was horrible. Let’s start with how we waited for about 5 minutes to be seated. Which I would not have waited usually but I was visiting from Georgia and was not familiar with the area. So after 5 minutes of waiting we were finally seated and paired with a horrible server. Can’t think of her name unfortunately. I asked for our drinks in a to go cup and 10 seconds later she brings the drinks out glass cups. Were you just not listening? Secondly her attitude was horrendous and seemed like she would rather be dead. Food was mediocre and tasted like it was sitting all morning.
So we finished and sat for about 20 minutes waiting for the check. I contemplated walking out but didn’t feel like getting arrested in south Florida that day. But anyway, after waiting my Fiancé walks up to the manager and kindly asks for our bill. He rudely states «Go ask your server». That statement was unnecessary due to the fact you are a manager and should be able to do anything your employees can do if not better.
Next time I visit Miami I will stay far away from this Ihop location with the many employee and mostly manager issues. The ihop franchise needs to second guess this location. If this was on Undercover Boss the CEO would be highly disappointed.

For sure its Hialeah SERVICE, NOT professional & sometimes they get to personal.
I have ordered omelets which haven’t been bad but not the best. My fiancé ordered scrambled eggs that tasted stale. Only would come here for pancakes which are still over priced (3 for $ 6+).

My daughter has a gluten allergy and we have eaten at other IHOP restaurants before without any problems. This particular IHOP claims that they do not have any gluten-​free items. If you are looking for gluten-​free, stay away

The service was ok but ihop is supposedly known for their delicious pancakes but what I got looked like they took it out of the trash and put it on my plate. My hash browns were burnt to a crisp and my pancakes were uncooked and completely uneatable! The fact that they would put this on someone’s plate is beyond me! Total disgrace!

I had the Omelette with pork sausage in it. It was delicious, and it had avocado in it. I opted for the nutty whole grain pancakes. Even with adding pecans to the pancakes, it was still less than $ 12. Great value for the money.

I love coming here @ night when the mall is closed so I don’t have to deal with the bad parking and having to wait, like on mothers day. This place gets hectic. I love their meat lovers omlette!
My only issue is, it’s freezing! I take my time eating which leads to having to eat cold food :(
I’ve been here about 4 times since they opened, I’ve always had a different waiter and was never disappointed with their service.

I love IHOP even though I would’ve put five stars if the service was better. This one is in Hialeah but their Strawberry Pancakes are delicious yummy

This place has HORRIBLE service. I can’t complain about their food, and that is what keeps me coming because they have good food and are open 24hrs but you really have to have a lot of time to come here because they will take forever and most of the servers look like they hate their life. With my most recent experience, about 2 weeks ago, I was sat down and after 30min of no one passing by to greet us or even bring us a menu or water I personally had to get up and ask if we were going to be served. They really need to train their employees a lot better.

I’m with Cid on the rating. I was coming here to give them a 2.5, so close enough.
The food is sometimes a hit and sometimes a miss. So it’s an order of elimination kind of thing.
I’ve never had bad service really. Just standard «ok» Miami service. I’ve grown accustomed to it and become very skeptical if anyone is overly nice, and by overly nice I just mean regular nice to out of towners.
The reason I docked stars is because we waited 45 minutes for Sunday brunch, which actually I thought was pretty fast considering how packed they were. I requested a high chair from the hostess, and when they brought it to me it was broken. The strap clip was broken off. So I asked for another one from the waitress and she said «I think all of them are broken». The kids next to me was not broken. That chick just didn’t want to go check. Dude, I got mad AF, because one she messed up me eating and I don’t like people messing with my mental schedule and two she didn’t even pretend to check.

Very bad on options. Literally the only iHop that forces you to eat eggs or pay $ 5 extra to get what you want without eggs. Fuck this place. Also long wait time.

I just have 1 opinion of this place «TREMENDA MIERDA». Service is terrible and the food was cold and disgusting. I wouldn’t even feed this food to any animal.

Merry Christmas to all! I stopped by today and the place was packed!
Chris took good care of us. The service was great and dispute how busy the place was, food came out quick. It was not as tasty as before but it was not not bad at all. The pancakes were hot and the service great, so we overlooked the small things.
We’ll be back!

We came here the morning of a trip and t his location did a great job with rushing our food order & getting us out of the door in time so that we won’t be late to the port. A+ for them. As for the food, it’s always good and it’s always warm so no complaints!

Make this a 2.3 Star Rating. It’s IHOP folks so, it’s not uncommon to receive bad service nor bad food on occasion. It just is what it is for the price. As far as food choices are concerned, IHOP is a step above Denny’s. My only problem is the new location.
IHOP thought is was a good idea to move into Westland Mall from their original location down the street. Although this location is larger and newer, the location is not the best choice. If you are familiar with Hialeah, the intersection of West 16^th Avenue and West 49^th Street specifically, you would understand without me having to elaborate. To this, add an already crowded mall with «everyone for himself parking» and, I digress. There is no access from inside the mall and vise versa. Since the move I only find myself coming here in the overnight hours when the mall is closed. Before I was on Unilocal,I did frequent IHOP quite a bit.

Friendly Spanish speaking staff at 3am !! Brought all of us waters and drinks quickly and the food came out nice and hot … Good job night shift!

We came in on a Sunday for a lunch. We were lucky enough to have a waitress that spoke English. I had a fruit crêpe and my friend had the 2×2×2 (a meal consisting of eggs, bacon and pancakes). The eggs were ordered scrambled but arrived undercooked and plain runny. The bacon was thick and flat, and tasted more like sweet ham than anything. It had a distinct sweet taste that bacon should not have. Everything else was OK, including the crêpe. But considering that IHOP is known for its archetypal breakfast items, the bacon and eggs should have been better.

This place is was very clean. Angel was our server and he was great. Took our order correctly. The food was your typical IHOP food nothing fancy just great breakfast! Defenitely recommend this place!

It’s IHOP. It’s open 24 hrs. What do you expect? This is as good as it’s gonna get if you don’t want Denny’s around 4am. Good food at any time of the day.

I ordered the simple and fit egg, mushroom and spinach with cheese, was very satisfying.

I came here with a film crew on Saturday, 01÷08÷11, for breakfast. We were seated immediately but I guess we were lucky because 15 minutes after we arrived there was a line of people waiting. The location was bright and clean, our server was top notch, and the food was good. The manager was also on hand overseeing everything and chipping in to help his staff.
However, the absolute highlight of our morning was a young guy, Jimmy, sporting a tool belt filled with hundreds of balloons. I’m talking about the long kinds that only deft hands can turn into hats in the shape of ray-​gun toting aliens, head hugging monkeys, and an extra large jester’s hat. That is what Jimmy skillfully twisted for us.
If not for the eggs and pancakes, at least come to this IHOP to be entertained.
