Randolph Billiards

Well cared for tables (and they monitor closely!) So, no leaning, no liquid, etc. If you are a serious amateur player, you will be very pleased. They are affiliated with an Amateur Pool Player Association (can’t recall the proper name).
There is a «smoker» section, way in the back, and the front area is nicely ventilated with fans, so we were not adversely affected by smoke (as we were at another billiard location in Hickory).
They offer a full bar, as well as a grill. The bar tender claimed that they make the best burgers in town. I was not there for food on the initial visit, so saving that for another day.
One final comment: They have a juke box (which is great!) The playlist that afternoon, was very heavy on old-​fashioned country/​drinking music. It did irritate me, but, maybe another patron will play some better music next time. I’d pump a few quarters, myself, if there is a lull.
