Over priced for the quality of food. Waitor wasn’t really available, repeatedly had to ask for water refills. The selection of food is great though. Coconut shrimp was simply amazing. And the baby spicy beef.

Even if I smoked an eighth of the finest purp, and had the munchies of a lifetime, I would not eat here. The floor is sticky, the restaurant smelt like grease and the worse part was the food. The food was extremely salty, looked old and there weren’t that much of a selection. The only + is honestly the ice cream and soda. and this is not even a joke. it seems like the restaurant had just given up. Normally I am not the type to say negative things about a buffet, let alone a Chinese buffet, but today I write this Unilocal review to warn future customers.

The worst! Mediocre food that was greasy and salty. The restaurant uses old utensils that are all scratched up, dishes that are chipped. They also advertised the wrong price in the newspaper. The only thing good about this place was the fountain soda.

My brother and I came to this buffet absolutely starving and were excited to devour at a buffet. It was probably one of the worst decisions we had made. The outside of the buffet makes it seems like a nicer place that it actually is. If they spent as much time on their food as they did on their outside appearance, maybe the food could be decent. All the food looked unappetizing and after trying the food, confirmed it tasted just as unappetizing and not to mention was cold. When I went to clear my ruined palette with water, I noticed black specs in my water too which was concerning. My brother and I stayed for 10 minutes. The only positive thing I have to say about this place was that the staff was attentive to our complaints and apologized. They were kind enough to let my brother and I go without paying after voicing our grievances. Would not recommend.

Was in the area so we took a chance possibly one of the worst decisions we have made food wise. Food was all disgusting. Everything was stale, old and tasted like fish. I have no idea how anyone would eat here. Although it seemed as if the other people that were there have been there before and actually came back. I feel like I’m going to puke as I feel like the food was bad. Do not go there it was horrible. Also I got the bill it was $ 25 per person now I feel violated and sick

You know that inexplicable shiver you get out of nowhere as if someone just walked over your grave? Well, that’s the general feel of this place the second you walk out. Décor’s shabby and ancient. Wait staff are perfectly nice. Shame it doesn’t even come close to making up for the food. Everything set out is stuff you can find at those hole in the wall Chinatown places except it’s 16 bucks for what you’d typically pay 5 bucks for. Everything looks like it’s been left out for an hour or more which makes me REALLY hesitant to try anything raw. Fan of diarrhea I not. The little cakes in the back were quite literally rock solid. Try and break it against something. I dare you. Ice cream in the cooler had frostbite that only The Forgotten Snacks get. The only saving grace were their egg tarts which did taste pretty good. Of course that all goes to shit when you spot the fly goose-stepping over all the food. Ugh.

All Chinese buffets are the same — they’re never outstanding, but they’re always good enough to satisfy your hunger. This review isn’t so much for the food, but more for the way I felt cheated at this place. We came for a quick, cheap dinner that just so happened to be on NYE. This is a buffet and not even close to being a fancy one. We were seated and half way through our meal, we realized they raised the price for dinner to $ 24.95 for a «NYE Dinner.» You have got to be kidding me. The price was raised about a good $ 10 and we were not given a heads up as we were seated. It was a hand written sign, taped over their regular prices and was basically done as a way to get more money out of everyone. There was nothing special about the food they offered, they always have lobster and that night was no different. It was simply a ploy to double their money that night. It worked, but in the long run, they definitely lost a lot of customers. I was extremely upset and this basically ruined our NYE and our meal. Yes, you can’t expect much in terms of food, but just the principle of what they did left a very bad taste in my mouth and because of that, I will never come back here. Had we known, we would have went to a much nicer restaurant. So much for the cheap dinner we wanted.

I passed this place a million times so I was always intrigued to try this place out… Terrible. Food was garbage and the crabs had absolutely zero flavor. How bad does it have to be before you need to add salt to a friggin salt water shellfish?! I didn’t like the lobster either. It was covered in some sort of sauce that had been left out so long it made a boogery coating on the outside of each piece. Sushi was ok, but I’d definitely go elsewhere for that. And some of the wait staff were nice but others were completely dismissive. They managed, however, to turn on the charm as we walked out the door.

For dinner. Asian buffet offers lobster Cantonese style, crab legs and fishes. They are delicious and so fresh. Come and get the best deal around. The best buffet in Nassau county. This is my second home. I am here weekly just because the food is fresh and delicious just like home made.

First I when I got to place, the interior was very welcoming. As soon as I opened the front door, the amazing smell of freshly cooked snow crab legs wandered into my nostrils. I couldn’t wait to dig into the buffet for an all you can eat cheap price of $ 19. I had the walnut shrimp, peking duck, spare ribs and tried the cold salad bar. Everything seemed like Jackie Chan cooked in himself. Also, I tried their new selection of ice cream which is to die for. Would recommend again 11⁄10.

I work in the area and have been trying different options. Service is pretty good, they seat you and take your drink order. They take plates after your done by the time you get back. The place has seen better days and is stuck in the 90s, literally. Needs a renovation. The bathrooms are straight out a Chinatown back of the alley joint with shit all over the floors in the mens room. The food: Decent, for $ 9.99 at lunch it is hard to beat. The ice cream was the best part.

OHGOD… After I left the restaurant I thought I’d be nice and leave a 2 star, but upon the effects of my and my wife’s gut after we got home, I cannot in good conscience leave anything more than a 1 star. I got to the parking lot at 7pm on a Friday night and the lot was pretty much empty… FIRST warning sign. As I walk to the entrance, the restaurant was gaudy as heck… cheesy, almost self hating… SECOND warning. Walk INTO the restaurant and all the servers were just lazing about near the entrance… THIRD warning. Barley anyone in the restaurant… carpet was old… and you could almost smell the fish from the buffet bar… FOURTH warning. Went up to the buffet, and everything had been sitting out for a while. Since I had a party of 8, we couldn’t help but tough some of the food. I think the only thing that had any decent flavor was the walnut shrimp that didn’t have any walnuts. Everything else was bland and just your basic Americanized Chinese food that can’t even be considered Chinese food. It’s for the unwashed, no palette masses that think Chinese food is chicken & broccoli or the insanely red ribs… The worst was the after effects… gut was burning and the gas that was passed was toxic… It was the war of the Dutch oven that night!

Visit here a few times already and every time I leave satisfied. No complaints or anything. Great food every visit or else I would be coming back so many times and so often. This is the only buffet I go to since trying out others.

Went here for dinner– was pretty excited since I haven’t been to a buffet in years. I thought there were decent choices — I got some pieces of sushi(philly roll, cali roll, and shrimp tempura roll), peppersteak, chicken+broccoli, honey chicken, wonton soup, fried rice, etc. For the most part everything looked fresh and tasted good. I do wish there were labels for names at the sushi table so I didn’t have to guess what was in each(I’m not too adventurous with sushi) so I just ended up taking what I knew by sight. Dessert they had a variety of cakes/fruits, but I went with Hershey’s ice cream which unfortunately(I guess the freezer was unlocked), was basically melted. I think it’s a nice restaurant on the outside and inside. Don’t expect anything fancy, but definitely worth trying out if in the mood for a buffet/a variety of asian food. I will say I checked Unilocal beforehand out of curiosity for how much it was, and the prices seemed to vary… but in general seemed like the price was about $ 12 for the buffet(I guess some of these reviews are outdated or people were referring to lunch) so I was a little disappointed when realizing I had the wrong info going there. I believe its $ 12 for lunch, and $ 16 for dinner for adults(not sure for kids).

Now that I’ve visited the Asian Buffet I am very surprised by the many poor ratings. 1st of all, the place is attractive. Bright, colorful, and happy. It looked clean and well taken care of. 2nd, there was a large selection of standard Chinese buffet items along with a small Sushi bar. Steam table items were actually hot and were continuously refilled — even the seafood items. The selections included several ‘premium’ offerings like shrimp and clams. 3rd, the place is cheap. $ 13.99 on a Saturday night with free tea and only $ 1.50 for a soda. No mandatory tip. The last, and most important part of my visit was the way we were treated. Both the servers and management were helpful and saw to it that we had a nice time. We will be back.
