Run of the mill deli with friendly service. I had an underwhelming egg sandwich: skimpy on the meat and signs are posted about fifty cent surcharges on eggs… Just change the menu prices.

I had the opportunity to try the breakfast wrap — It was absolutely fantastic — probably the best one I ever had. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the crème cheese added a really nice touch. The fried potatos were melt in you mouth — they just needed a little more salt for my taste buds! I cant wait to return to try there lunch heros. Nice Job Lisa and Staff!!!

Had the hungry man breakfast sandwich… nothing special when it comes to flavor and taste… just a salty stack of breakfast meats and egg… it was ok, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back… only if it was convenient.

Only the best place around Hicksville to get a delicious BEC or BLT two of my favorite sandwiches. Love the OJ they throw in also!

Place is legit. Stopped by a Saturday morning on way to beach, ordered a few egg sandwiches and a platter. Everything was good. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would repeat.

It’s your standard deli. Wasn’t a big selection as far as I saw, but Imagine they can make just about any standard deli sandwich. Felt that the quality was standard. The prices were average for a deli.

WOW! Lisas of new hyde park! I have to tell this story I will try and make it short. when I was a kid my dad use to work for Canada dry soda company on denton ave in new hyde park. during the summers he would take me to work with him to drive on the truck and EVERY morning I was with him we would stop at a little coffee shop called lisas and there would be all his co workers getting breakfast and coffees! of course laughing and joking and complaining about work. I would always get a yoohoo and a blueberry muffin that was the size of a softball, my dad would get a coffee, buttered roll and a pack of smokes. Every Friday night at my house would be Lasagna night, my dad would bring dinner home from Lisas, vegetable Lasagna for my mom and meat Lasagna for him, me and my sister, this went on for years until my dad retired. but over this summer I had a major flashback that bought back some great memories! so im driving MY son to an away soccor game in Hicksville, and after the game he wants to get an Italian ice at this place in Hicksville where we been before when he plays there. we get there, and the place is closed down, moved not sure, big bummer for him! we leave there and drive down the road a bit and I decided to stop at a deli I just caught out of the corner of my eye. the deli name says lisas OK! that’s a common name rite? we walk in, and I ask for a cup for the self serve coffee station, I make my coffee and im looking around for a snack and what do I see? a blueberry muffin the size of a softball, at that very moment I had that quick flashback. I knew without a doubt it couldn’t be the same lisas because the last time I seen a muffin like that was 1980, so I decide to ask the lady serving me if this place had anything to do with lisas of new hyde park but, before I could finish the question there she came walking out of the kitchen Lisa! Oh my god! I couldn’t believe it. when I told her my dads name a big smile came to her face she remembered him, me and all his co workers. needless to say, I took 4 of those muffins that day and, not only that but Friday Lasagna night is back on! and the family loves it. in all those years no lasagna topped lisas, and for me they never will… so now I been a Friday regular 5 Lasagnas to go and all the blueberry muffins I can get. Thank you Lisa! Thank you for the great memories!

We found this deli merely by accident though Unilocal. BESTACCIDENTEVER! Lisa’s Deli only serves the best, fresh food! — You will not be disappointed. After using them on a regular basis, we decided to use Lisa’s to cater a large event, looked at several other places and none could compare to Lisa’s based on quality and customer service. The price was far less than the competitors. Beautiful presentation, and delicious food that people are STILL talking about months later. Thanks Lisa!

You should really get your story straight. When I spoke to the woman on the phone I specifically said I will NOT pay extra for the driver to come back. Which, she replied I will let the driver know! Which is why I asked him to come back –otherwise I wouldn’t have! I know how much gas cost, but for some reason no other deli’s around here are charging gratuity. Perhaps, you should talk to them and see what there doing right. And yes I complained about your prices, because they’re too high! You don’t have to worry about me. Best of luck. Lisa I. Owner 25 minutes ago Block & Report Owner I do have my story straight! U spoke to me! Lisa! And it is up to my drivers. Do you work for free??? I do speak to other deli owners and we all have the same problem we can’t keep delivery drivers because of people like you that don’t want to tipp the drivers!!! It is YOUR responsibility to be there ready for the driver! And if u think they have all day to chase u around your wrong! U wouldn’t want to be the other people waiting for there deliveries! Perhaps you are someone who should go and pick up your lunch order at any deli u choose and use your car your gas and your time instead of asking someone to do it for you for free!!! Nikki W. 4 minutes ago Ok, I see we’re beginning to lie! First of all, I know damn well, I told you(if that was you, Lisa) that we were not paying the damn driver to come back. Second of all, it was never a question about tipping –it’s the audacity to ask for it! I am BIG on tipping! But, when you automatically think people wont tip, so you charge –that’s a different story! It’s not my fault you can’t keep drivers. And no I do not work for free and I’m pretty sure your drivers don’t either. Unless, of course things are pretty tough over there, then that’s not my responsibility to pick up the slack were you lack. YOUR food is nasty, YOUR service sucks end of conversation. Now, who ever is reading this try Hanstedt deli! They have great food and are very friendly, unlike LIsa. Just wanted everyone to see the lack of respect at Lisa’s Deli.

So, the place is clean, there’s parking on the street and a couple of stools to sit at a small counter to eat. Not a crowded place but their food seems to be fresh. Had their Monday special of chicken francese(sp.?) over rice. The chicken was decent, the rice was a little too overdone IMO and the sauce was good. The service was quick and to the point. Not a bad little joint, gonna have to try a couple of more times to be certain though.

This is by far my favorite deli of the hicksville area. they will make sure your orders right if not they will remake it without even trying to give you the first. wrong sandywhich. It’s a lot of family there and for. that reason its a nice home feel. The workers are nice too! The only bad thing is don’t come here looking for resteraunt seating. But come here when your in the area looking for a good. sandwhich!!! I do recommend

Food: 5 stars Service: 4 stars Atmosphere/etc.: n/a Will I be back? Absolutely I know bacon needs no publicity. But Lisa must put an addictive chemical in it that makes me crave it fortnightly! Seriously, most deli egg sandwiches are the same. her’s is fantastic. Excellent. wondrous. you name it. Service is excellent. I am knocking it a bit because it can get slow when crowded. but regardless very friendly and not enough to put me off. I will most certainly be back.

My bf and I looked this Deli up on Unilocal,I had some time before work, we found it and picked out two sandwiches, the beef bomber(he couldn’t finish it) and a chicken Cesar wrap(I couldn’t finish either) The signs were bright, vibrant, and easy to read. Super cute pictures. The workers knew the other customers by name and order, Lisa came out who looked a lot like the picture drawn on her store window.(super cute) greeted us and attempted to get to know us. Very friendly, home-like establishment will def go back. *good food, good price, great experience *

EGGSALLDAY!!! Sorry I had to yell that but I still get excited at the thought of getting a great bacon, egg and cheese at noon. Most of the local delis in the area do not serve eggs after 10:30am. Shenanigans I tell ya. Some of us creatures of the night just can’t hit that deadline. OK so beyond the eggs… Lisa’s is a notch above your average local deli. It is clean inside, the staff is friendly and it rarely has a crowd. They have hot/cold sandwiches, the standard deli ‘specials’ menu(you know that photocopied piece of paper that they fax over to local businesses) as well as all the typical deli fixings. I haven’t strayed far from eggs, turkey sandwiches, chicken bacon sandwiches and the chicken soup so I cannot vouch for much of the menu but for my ‘go to’ deli favorites Lisa’s is a winner. Tip: EGGSALLDAYYYY!!! &2 hash brown patties for $ 1(put one in the egg sandwich). Also, if you sign up for their email list you get emailed a coup for a free soda or coffee. Win.
