Steve & Barry’s University Sportswear

When I hear the name Steve & Barry’s, I think back on my college days of finding cheap, low quality hoodies and t-​shirts there. Well, in the past few years, it has grown and added many affordable lines of diverse clothing.
I stopped by the one in Highland Park because I heard they carried Sarah Jessica Parker’s «Bitten» line which is trendy, but extremely affordable. Welcome to a huge warehouse-​looking place, that you’re able to find something for everyone– on a budget.
There is the «Bitten» line where jeans are $ 9 (decent quality, but don’t fit right on my flat booty). I found pllenty of funky jewelry somewhere around $ 3 – 8. There are a few cute lines for teens, and a ton of sportswear for dudes.
You have to shop here with a grain of salt: it’s not the best quality of merchandise, but it’s very inexpensive. You’ll find a few things, and both you and your wallet will walk out happy.

Steve & Barry’s usually has a great selection of affordable clothing. I really like going through their selection of funny t-​shirts and picking up some University apparel here, too.
They also have some good deals with shoes and there’s the Sarah Jessica Parker line: Bitten. Nothing there is over $ 20 which is quite a steal. Just found out that they’re opening one in Evanston which should be dangerous to my pocketbook!
