Delicious food, has me blown away every time! They have something for every taste from simple to extravagant, if you have specific taste the servers will generally talk through the menu with you to make sure you’re happy. It’s a fun place to dress up for but is also suitable for casual dining. They are always happy to meet any special requests or expectations including gluten free pastas and vegan options! I eat from here way more often than I should(delicious carbs!). The atmosphere alone is worth the trip.

Food was nice. Great food and wine recommendations from Christopher. B Side cab was perfect, so, we got another bottle. 6 of us, friends and family in town for daughter’s graduation from SMU last night.

I guess I was spoiled by the Patrizio’s in Highland Park the flagship of the Patrizio restaurants. What an incredible place. It was the place to have authentic Italian cuisine, and where everyone wanted to hangout. Unfortunately those days seem like a distant memory. The owners have done an admirable job of replicating the look of the original restaurant, but what is missing is the food quality and the ambiance. My wife and I went last week and I had the caesar and lasagna and she had the caesar and calamari. Mediocre at best. It is not that it is bad, but just doesn’t measure up to the reputation that Patrizio’s once had. The highlight of the evening was that the server was young enthusiastic and the bartender was very generous with the vino!

The 2 stars are for the reasonable atmosphere. Second trip here and much like the first time I’m underwhelmed. Food was bland and cold on first trip, I had the vegetable lasagna. This time I tried the mussels that were burnt, my husband’s dirty martini came out sans olives. The waitress appeared confused on how to decant a bottle of wine and in general on the details if the menu. I want to like this place but it too disappointing

I had the crab cakes and fettucini pappagano. The crab cakes were very disappointing given the upscale ambience of the restaurant. There was A LOT of filler in the cakes which is a HUGE no-no with crab cakes unless their ordered at Long John Silver. Very little crab flavor came through. The crab cakes were garnisheed with a salad of mixed greens with a vinaigrette dressing which was was very good. The best thing about crab cakes should not be the garnish, however. The fettuccini pappagano was better. The bacon was a little overpowering. I would have liked to have tasted this dish with pancetta or simply salt pork instead of bacon. But it was still tasty, but not delicious. The pasta was cooked well, al dente as I expected. My wife had the calamari. It was well cooked. Nice and crisp coating and the squid itself had a very nice texture, not at all rubbery. For the main course she had the veal piccata. It was a standard veal piccata. It was good, not exceptional. I would have hoped they would have had the creativity to somehow make it their own and exceed expectations. Overall I would give this 2 ½ stars. I wouldn’t say dining here is a good value. It’s more about the ambience and less about the quality of the dishes.

Okay, okay I give up. The changes to the menu have brought this up to a restaurant that I want to return to over and over.

I’ve been here twice, nothing worth returning for. The food is bland and unmemorable. I really don’t see how they’ve stayed open so long …

Great service and excellent food. The atmosphere is also worth mentioning– very calm, yet inviting. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Highland Village.

Bad food! Good service. The mussels were overcooked– very tough. Very small portions compared to other Italian restaurants like Maggianos or Buca. I’m attaching a pic of the Italian cake @ $ 8.50 — look how small it is and it was dry.

Austin, our waitress, was great. I found the entrees we ordered a bit over priced and bland. Between us I tried 3 sauces, bland meat sauce and red sauce but the arrabbiata was perfect for my taste. Nice ambiance, but the ceiling tiles need replacement.

Had the Silcian Salmon. It was the worst piece of fish I ever had. It tasted like it was laying around for a couple of months. Even the vegies were bad. Don’t go here. You will regret it.,

My wife and I loved Patrizio when it was in Fort Worth. We now have to drive a little further, but it is worth it. Its beautiful setting and a pleasant ambience make this place stand out. We had a great experience at the highland location. Service, food, drinks, and dessert were all first-rate. I recommend the Baked zitti and/or calamari with basil aioli. Even though the place seems very formal, there were kids and families having pizza in jeans and t-shirts. I am for it! This place can be whatever you want, and I appreciate the versatility. They are very considerate toward any celebrations you have here. I uploaded a photo of a customized dessert they made for us on our anniversary.

Had a dinner date here on Tuesday night. The location and atmosphere = lovely, but the food execution was so poor that we won’t be back. I requested lime in my water, which was provided; however the lime wedges were old as evidenced by brown spots and dry sections. The bread was crusty but tasted bland. The butter for the bread was bland. The olive oil had a bitter taste and only had crushed black pepper added, no garlic or other seasonings. Our salads arrived next. The lettuce was warm and wilted with big chunks of stem throughout. There were few tomato slices, a couple cucumber slices with the seeds removed(perhaps due to their being over mature?) and about 5 small olives on each. The dressing was unevenly dispensed, as his was nearly drowning in dressing and mine scarcely had any. Neither of us finished the garden salads we ordered. Our entrees were lasagna and chicken tortellini. The portions were large, but his lasagna looked«messy» rather than layered. My tortellini was nothing spectacular, the ham and chicken seemed lesser quality. We sampled each other’s entrees, and neither of us were impressed. Taste was just not there. Mediocre at best. My impression was that this place may be substituting less quality products for increased revenue. The patio was full, and I noticed more people taking advantage of the half price wine bottles special than were eating food. To top it off, my debit card has been charged twice. We won’t be back.

I had high hopes for this restaurant as we have passed it often while shopping in The Shops. When you first enter, the décor and ambiance is extremely nice, almost ritzy. We had a glass of wine in the bar and were seated within 15 minutes. Not bad on a Friday night at 615. Once escorted to our table, the charm wore off. I expected table clothes or linen based on the fancy chandeliers and paintings on the wall, but we were greeted with ratty, worn black tables. However, our waitress was very attentive and friendly. She came around often and was very personable. I give her five stars(Taylor!). But then, the food. We ordered the Crispy Goat Cheese appetizer, which was delicious, although the accompanying salad was warm. They serve fresh bread(very good) and an olive oil/spice blend, but the olive oil is not high quality and tasted old. For our entrees, my boyfriend ordered the salmon, which was woefully undercooked. As was my pasta — the Conchiglie Con Spinaci. The shells were very al dente, not my preference, and the sauce was very bland. We brought the raw salmon to our waitresses attention, who informed the manager, who stopped by to tell us it would be taken off the bill(which it was). We had hoped it was an exception, but heard the table next to us also send their food(mussels) back. Three dishes in a row is not a good sign. Overall, we found the staff very attentive, the atmosphere was very cool, but the food was greatly lacking. I think this would be a great happy hour/drinks/appetizers place, but I don’t know that I would order an entrée again.

Horrible. The restaurant is filthy. I had cellophane in my Lasagna and the waiter blew it off as an everyday occurrence. The food was gross. To top things off, a manager came over to «check on our table». He ended up hitting on my girlfriend the entire time and asked for her number. Gross! Very unprofessional. Steer clear of this place. Grimaldi’s is a great alternative.

Lots of great restaurants to eat at in Highland Village. Patrizio’s is one of our favorites. Romantic Italian restaurant in the middle of the shops at Highland Village. This restaurant has a really nice patio that we sit at almost every time we come here. Some nights in the spring and summer, there is a live band that plays right next to their patio for the public. A great place to go before catching a movie, as you can park once and do dinner and a movie without moving the car. The last time we were there was in April of 2014. My wife and I shared a capreze salad. Tomatoes were very sweet. Basil was fresh and Mozzarella buffalo was awesome. My entre was the egg plant parmigiana. Thick pieces of egg plant were heavily breaded, fried and baked. Sauce was thick and rich. Pasta was al dente. All in all, VERY filling(Probably too much so). Wait staff is friendly and service is always excellent.

I’ve been to Patrizio many times and I was really surprised by all the bad reviews on their Unilocal.I’ve always had a lovely time and enjoyed my meal here. My most recent visit was a few days before Christmas this year when my mom and I went for dinner. There was a wait so we decided to sit at the bar since we could also order dinner there. I ordered a French 75 and my mom had a Manhattan. Both were perfectly executed. For an appetizer we had bruschetta which is 3 decent sized toasts with the bruschetta portioned out on them. It was crispy and delicious! For my meal I had the grilled vegetable plate. I often order that when I go to Patrizio because it comes with a hunk of polenta covered in mozzarella and you can’t find that many places. Try it out! The bar and restaurant were packed and we still received top notch service. The bar tender and server were very professional and friendly. This is a great place to get nice ambiance and good food at a very reasonable price.
