The worst customer service ever OMG!!! Her name is Letty & she is one nasty employee… I hope nobody else has to deal w/her attitude! She needs to find a new job, I went inside to ask my husband what was taking so long because he had been in there for a good 10 – 15 mins & it was late at night w/only two other customers in there. She straight up told me «you can go to Valero» as she continued to say«bye bye» over & over again. she still never gave us an answer to why it was taking so long. She was beyond rude & I will never go there again!

It’s the busiest traveling day of the year and their bathroom is closed because it is dirty, and yet they don’t have anyone cleaning it. Also, coffee is 20 cents more expensive than other AMPM stores.

This gas station right off a major freeway the 210 doesn’t offer public restrooms to customers. Even though they have a sign that says restrooms, it’s for staff only. Are you kidding me? Clearly the owner of this gas station doesn’t want the additional expenses for up keep. Spend the extra few bucks and go across the street to Valero

Another broken terminal! Please see attendant! Screw this Arco station. Screw me for going back. Pay the extra 10 cents and go to Valero across the street!

Took my kids to grab some candy and a soda. The soda machine had a few to select from and the one that was on had no soda flavor. I told the clerk and she was a smart ass about it and I told her well if there was an «OUTOFORDER» sign then I would have not used it. I still got charged for the ice and ended up buying two bottled sodas to fill the cup up. The cashier was rude and seemed to be MISERABLE! She needs to work on her customer service skills or get another job. This happened around 12:30 pm today July 242014. Anyhow won’t go again even if it is conveniently by the 210 freeway.

I just went to this place for the last time, dirty, rude employees, the islands don’t work so you have to walk inside. the employees are nailed in place and will not move. they act like they are the only place with cheap gas. if you like dirty, rude and bad atitude come to this gas station, it has it all.

I pass by here everyday while i go to work, so its a regular stop for me. Most of the time they have the cheapest gas around, but they also have my monsters at 2 for 3 dollars, so that is a plus…

Nothing says, «I love my car,» like filling it up with ARCO gas. This fuel has set off more check engine lights then I care to clear. If you go here to save money, make sure you bring cash, because the 45 cents you pay at the pump in transaction fees greatly diminishes any savings you may have had. Of course, paying cash means you either won’t fill your car up completely, or you have to make a second trip into the store to wait in line for your change. But then again, the min-mart is where AM/PM really shines! Deals, deals, deals are to be had!!! They have weekly specials on drinks(alcoholic and non). For those with an iron stomach, the wrickles on a hot dog can be touched up with a dab of mustard and ketchup.(if only it were that easy to get rid of crows feet!) Service here is pretty laid back. No one ever seems to be in a rush to do anything But the store is organized, well stocked and clean(including the restrooms). The soda machines are as bountiful as any 7 – 11 and I don’t know why anyone pays 5 dollars for coffee at starbucks when you can customize your own at an AM/PM coffee bar. The brew is fresh and you have all the fixens you need at 1⁄5 the price. @ Mark B. +1 to the fuzz being present. I’m pretty certain this is a favorite shift change location or just a place to rest and stay out of site for a while. There isn’t much going on on this side of the freeway, so I imagine the night gets pretty boring, save a few domestic calls.

Cops hang out here late at night. Most of the ATM/Cash machines thy are outside do not work. Great prices and clean though.

So of course, after I pout about my first experience at AMPM(after they changed their CC policy or have they always been like this?) I hit this one up with my friend Billy for some ice and mixers(jugo de crandberry and oj) for Big Bear. Lovely stop with a lovely gentleman behind the counter. We invited him up to the mountains and he was ready to bounce but unfortunately had to work. Oh and of course, I forgot my cash in the car. I got charged again to use my debit card. Yikes!

This place reminds me of my junior and high school days, grabbing some breakfast or after school food before heading home. I love the jalapeño corn dogs, hamburgers, and the rib sandwich up till these days. Sadly, its rare for me to get some of those goodies since most of the time i stop by an AM/PM is just to get a fountain drink… OHHOW I MISSJALAPENOCORNDOGS!!!(i cant find them anywhere but here). My friend mark and i are reviewing this place because… well, getting fountain drinks can sometimes be an epic battle. During a fourth of July get away towards Big Bear Lake, my friend and I decided to make a quick stop to an ARCOAM/PM station to get something to drink before we head up the mountain, by my brother’s request. I didn’t want to since we were loosing a lot of daylight, but decided to make the stop anyway. We always head to the Baseline AM/PM station before we head up the mountain so we can stay wired and alert.(Something useful for you heading up there, nothing wrong with something to keep you up and enjoy the view.) Onward with the epic battle, as my buddy Mark and I finish paying for our drinks, we were hinted to stop some perpetrators, 2 delinquents w/one case in each arm, from making out with some beer by standing in their way… a beer run was taking place before us. The lady at the register was so casual in saying, «Stand by the door.» that we never saw it coming until it was too late. My buddy and i were able to hold them up a bit but they were just too small and quick… ahhh children, so troublesome. In the end, they got away with half the beer they stole, my friend’s fountain drink was all over the floor, on himself, and on my back. Other customers within the establishment were shocked as to what had happened… they didn’t do anything, geez, probably a neighborhood ‘watch’ thing. The girl offered us anything to eat and stuff, but we told her we just needed our caffeine fix and be on our way. Oh yeah, we were smooth: P We felt a little proud as we commenced our trip to Big Bear Lake. Courage, Duty, Valor, Strength, Pride, Honor, Insanity, Recklessness, or Stupidity. Maybe all of the above, but to put its simply we just acted because we’re Ameri-‘CAN’s and as so, we do things to make a difference. The Fourth of July always strengthens my patriotism for what this country used to stand for. Back to the matter, which is reviewing this place, AM/PM is like another 7⁄11 where you can find all you need for quick stop. I think i’ll head on out to get me a Jalapeño Corndog and a rib sandwich now.

Ah AMPM… I remember going to AMPM when I was in Junior High(Rincon Intermediate)… I would go here with some friends after school to grab an extra bite to eat(usually a hamburger, hot dog or corn dog). But I wouldn’t go to this specific one, here in Highland… I am reviewing this Highland location because something happened on our way up to Big Bear Lake… foutain drinks General Info: Like the other competing convenient store, AMPM has everything(and more) to offer: smokes, snacks, drinks/booze, hot food– fountain drinks up the wazzoo, and slurpee-like frozen drinks… also coffee somewhere. AMPM is always a nice place for a pit stop, even if it doesn’t have the best of hot food… Although, the food is relatively inexpensive and great to get that hunger quick fix. So, our posse happened to stop by this AMPM because we needed a caffeine fix before heading up the mountain(it was 8pm or so in the evening). This AMPM is right off the Base Line St freeway/highway exit before heading up to Big Bear. Low and behold, my friend Joshua G. and I stopped some perpetrators(delinquent teens) from stealing beer. As the cashier lady was occupied with customers, the perpatrators tried to jack and dash out the convenient store. We didn’t totally screw their beer run, they managed to get away w/2 cases out of the 4 they tried to jack. What did Joshua G. and I do? We blocked the exit(as instructed by the store cashier) and acted as walls. They should know better than to try to jack beer while 2 husky Filipino guys are in the way. My friend and I agree that the Cashier was too casual about warning about the beer runners. She should have screamed to stop them… but didn’t… It was a bizarre evening, what a way to start a vacation up to Big Bear! :P Oh yeah, what’s worse about this whole incident, stopping those smacktards caused my to spill my huge fountain drink. I drenched myself… Although, the cashier was nice enough to get another one(or anything else more) on the house. Nice place, but beware of the Beer Running Teenagers!
