I’ve been searching for a new hair stylist since I moved to the mitten from the state of Ohio and that was 5 years ago. It’s hilarious because I actually met Lauren over 2 years ago when she moved into her new location in Highland and she got me hooked on the Loma line of hair care products. After several failed hair experiences, I went to see Lauren last Thursday. My hair looks amazing. I love the color and even though we did a heavy foil to make it lighter it’s not breaking and doesn’t have a straw like texture that sometimes happens when you bleach your hair.
It helps that the studio is right by my kids school and that it’s a cute little studio. They sell essential oils and other items one might need as well so it’s almost like a one stop shop.
Lauren is amazing and I should have been going to see her two years ago. Even though I’ve only been to see her once, I’m sure this is it… I’ve found my new stylist and boy, oh, boy, it’s about damn time.

Monolo Hair Studio is one of the best salons I have visited in Michigan. The salon is well decorated providing a variety of products. Not many salons, like Monolo, provide a service for massages, manacures, awareness programs, or bridal parties. This makes Monolo more unique to most other salons.
The owner of the Monolo is very professional and will go above and beyond to make sure her customer’s leave with the highest satisfaction. Her experience and creativity brings out the beauty in many of her customers. When a customer is not satisfied, she will do whatever she can to make sure she finds what they’re looking for.
I would recommend anyone, especially women, to visit this salon. Everyone is always looking for a specific style and Monolo has the vision to see it through.

LIFE CHANGING!
I have never gotten so many compliments on a hair cut before. The owner, Lauren, was amazing.
I didn’t have an appointment and it was after business hours, but she insisted on taking me anyway.
I thought I was just getting a trim, but before I knew it, my hair was cut, my beard was lined, and I had my first manicure.
As a straight guy, I was hesitant about the manicure, but my nails look cleaner and healthier than they ever have. Being in sales, appearance is everything. I will be getting that done regularly thanks to Lauren.
I stood up from the chair with a fresh new look. I walked out of there feeling like a new man!
I had a guy at work tell me that he liked my new cut and said I looked like a movie star.
Calling it a hair cut is not doing her work justice. I walked out of Monolo with an Image Upgrade.
After my first experience with Lauren, there is no way I would go anywhere else again! #MonoloMan4Life

Love this salon. The owner is great, along with the rest of her staff.
Janae always does a beautiful job on my eyebrows and has no problems fitting me in whenever I’m in the area.
Lauren also did a great job on my first spray tan. I would suggest this salon to anyone.
