This was my first experience at a bed and breakfast and I have to say the bar is set pretty high for everyone else! Helene and Ricky have a beautiful place, and and made my friend and I feel so at home. The food was amazing(seriously, Helene should write a cookbook), the location was walking distance from town, and the surroundings were just lovely. I will be back as soon as I can!

Be prepared to relax! This is a great spot if you’re looking for something more than a sterile hotel environment. All the rooms are different from one another, all with their own character. The backyard and deck of this place are so beautiful it’s almost cartoon-ish, like a hobit-land or something. A bear greeted us Saturday morning, though I don’t think that’s super common(you’re in the mountains). We used up all the space at one point or another, from the deck, to the hot-tub, to the hamock, to the huge grass hill/yard for some nap time. Easy walking into town(couple mins) for restaurants, bars, and music. The afternoon 5 – 7 wine /hors d’oeuvres are great to unwind and socialize with others if you’re in the mood. Don’t forget the fresh cookies at the entryway each time you come/go. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, and was changed up each day. The owners are great to talk to, and we ended up going to check out other places in town run by their friends. This place was recommended to us by friends who had stayed a year before, and we will definitely recommend it as well.
