Friendly Staff. CLEAN beds and well cared for facility. Latest in bed technology, including many levels, standard, upgraded, spray tanning and more. Great location on Rome Hilliard, ease of convenience for parking. Never a long wait, no appointments necessary. Prices are competitive, packages and individual session pricing– not high priced– as noted from years before in other reviews; prices are often better than others in Hilliard! I have been a member since 2011, and have tanned at many other salons in the area through the years, and love that they keep your information on hand for ease of scheduling when you return– if you haven’t tanned for awhile! Hands down highly recommend Palm Beach Tan in Hilliard!

I recently went in here because my mom had bought me a gift certificate for Christmas. I actually tan somewhere else, and absolutely love it.
Needless to say, I took my gift card in to Palm Beach and specifically told them that I had $ 30 on the gift card to spend on lotion. I know tanning lotion can be pricey, so I told them I’d like a small bottle of face lotion or a bottle of plain moisturizer.
So, of course, the two people working teamed up on trying to sell me the membership (which they mentioned 3 or 4 times). Then, they tried to sell me a $ 90 bottle of sunless lotion (not what I wanted, which I made clear). Then, they tried to sell me a $ 120 bottle of lotion! I ended up being there for 45 minutes trying to reason with them, although I only got about 2 words in.
I’ve heard all of the Palm Beach facilities are like this. They are trained to sell, not to care about building a real relationship with the customer. I’m glad I spent my gift card in one visit, because if I hadn’t, I would have given the rest away to someone.

Tanning equipment is good, but staff (though possibly well-​intentioned) constantly try to up-​sell you on pretty much everything at every single visit. The kicker, though, is that they seem to care much more about getting new clients than taking care of existing ones.
I was in there on a recent Sunday evening, and the woman made me plus two other people stand around waiting for about 10 minutes … while she chatted up a new prospect and then had the nerve to take her on a tour of the whole facility. Fine. Except she was the ONLY ONE there. Come on! When it takes about 30 seconds to schedule someone into a tanning room, why make your existing customers wait while you deal with someone who might not even pay!
Lame customer service. And just plain rude.

Beds are amazing. Staff is very friendly & Extremely clean inside. Only down fall is that its a bit pricey to tan, one tan is $ 37.00. Your 100% better off getting an unlimited package. I always tan well, however here I have seen results (Huge results) in just 3 tans. (Great beds) Keep in mind that they will continue to take out of your account unless you ask them to stop and you must do it 5 days before the first of every month. Just a heads up but I do say try Palm Beach at least one time if your big on tanning.;) Also when I signed up I found this place on Unilocal and showed them the 4 free tanning for showing them it on the Unilocal page and still have not got this. A bummer!
