Godfather’s Pizza

I’d love to show you a pic of the pizza but we are it too quickly.
So I got the Taco pizza and it was fantastic. The pizza was not made the way we asked for it but meh…
The crust was good for fast food, the toppings were more than plentiful and the overall quality was there. I’m not going to say we will stop going to Pizza Hut or Dominos but Godfathers is my new go to.

Food is really good and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. My favorite Godfathers location!

We ordered a pizza the night before Thanksgiving; the pizza showed up 2 ½ hours later! Yes, it was 1 ½ hours late. To top it off it was barely warm and some of the toppings were incorrect. Instead of good service, we received excuses. Instead of prompt delievery from a curteous driver; we got a young lady that appeared to be counting the minutes until turkey dinner.
We will not be going back; we suggest you do likewise.

Gooooood pizza, really good stuffed crust. Never disappoints, never a wrong order, always piping hot. Good selection of specialty pizza. The only thing I would change is I would offer a white pizza. Our family favorite for the last ten months since we moved from the east coast.

I ordered buttery pan pizza. It wasn’t buttery or pan? It was flat and tasteless! The pictures they show walking in. did not match even close to what we got? Should’ve got beer from Albertsons and found a Papa Murphy’s or driven to Costco!

Serviceable pie, delivered by youngsters w/​non-​ironic (I think?) smiles on pasted on their mugs. They also deliver relatively late for the ‘boro (2300 on weekend nights). THey also offer good cracker crust and white garlic sauce alternatives to the usual greasy dough-​fest for crusts.

The service was pathetic, the pizza was even worse. Go here only if you want to waste your hard earned money!

I’ve been eating Godfather’s pizza since I was a kid. I have yet to find a better Taco Pizza. I’ll keep coming back for more. Delivery is fast and service is friendly.

After a 2 day drive/​move to Oregon from California (yep…I came back up here!) we were hungry… tired…and had no idea what to get. I pulled up my VZ Nav and searched for pizza (easiest thing to get delivered I figure) …
More than a few places came up but Godfathers sounded like it might be a good, option… especially since I used to live in NY and I enjoy anything with the cheesy Italian feel… because its so not accurate.
Anyhoo…ordered a large meat combo, small veggie and a salad along with something called «monkey bread».
Guy who took our order was chipper and seemed nice enough. Delivery guy was super nice and I thought might have been the same as the order taking guy on the phone but I was way too tired to tell.
I ate the meat combo and it was OK. Mom had the veggie and she loved it. The monkey bread thing is a winner of yummy bad for you goodness.
SECOND ORDER came later that week because well… again… tired… just moved in… had not really shopped or unpacked.
This time I ordered online… because sometimes… after spending all day talking to a baby and working on getting your house together you do not really feel like talking to anyone.
So…ordered the classic italian… which is incorrect in the ingredients on their website… so they called to better understand what I wanted. I also ordered the monkey bread and their chocolate chip cookie.
Cookie = AWESOME… sometimes you just NEED A GIANT COOKIE! This cookie is worth it.
Pizza…was meh… and had peppers on it even though I wanted no peppers. Oh well.
In conclusion… will I order again? Maybe… the price is right… staff is friendly and desserts are good but I think I will «shop around» the pizza places out here for a bit before I come back to Godfathers.

It’s a close pizza place and sometimes that’s what’s called for. Not my favorite pizza place,(but then there isn’t one in town). Pretty consistent quality here. I forgot to tell them this time to go light on the sauce. (I think they go a bit heavy). Crust is pretty decent here and they have all the usual toppings. They alway have coupons, so look out for them. There are a bunch of tv’s around and I think they have football nights in the fall.

Taco pizza on golden crust is pretty good! Don’t buy a pizza big enough to have leftovers though, this pizza does not reheat well due to the lettuce on top. We order from here frequently. Pizza is always still hot when delivered. The buffet isn’t half bad and the kitchen restocks with fresh food frequently. I love their little garlic bread puff thingys.

Is it wrong to give a causal pizza chain such a high rating? I don’t think so.
I (we. don’t want to sound too piggish.) ordered a family meal which consisted of a large deep dish pepperoni pizza, along with a small combo, along with their cheesy bread and bread sticks.
I swear it wasn’t just me eating here.
–the deep dish pepperoni here is rich and buttery, but still light enough on the crust that I didn’t feel overloaded after a couple slices. plus they put on lots of slices of thin pep, which crisped nicely with browned edges. ahhh drool.
–the cheesy bread was loaded with mozza but was a bit simple in flavor
–really liked the breadsticks here, butter coated with garlic dusting. yum. I will order this every time!
–the small combo was also very cheesy with a healthy helping of toppings
Theirs is possibly not fancy schmantsy gourmet pizza, but this is way more satisfying when you’ve had a long week or just want to celebrate those small daily victories in the eternal struggle of life.

The pizza is okay. I usually end up here because someone else picks it, because they want beer and they are able to accommodate larger parties. The new coke machine is pretty nice, your able to mix different varieties of sodas as well as flavors.

Great pizza place as far as chain joints go. I would say Godfathers is better than Dominos and Pizza Hut easily, then around the same level of quality as Papa Johns, and a little below Pizza Schmizza.
So the things that are good; artichokes as a choice of topping, really good crust, good deals, they have awesome potato wedges that you can order on the side, their bread sides aren’t just pizza crusts chopped off like Dominos and Pizza Hut, and their specialty pizzas are pretty awesome like the taco pizza.
I’ve ordered from this place specifically three times now and I’ll continue to do so. They deliver quickly, the food is good, and the prices are what you expect from a pizza joint.
