McDonald’s

i was so not happy with my food cold fries. i was there once before and order was made wrong use to love eating there not any more. i sent a formal complaint to corp.

This is typical McDonald’s fare. Sandwich was fresh and hot. I’ll give a thumbs-​up on the food.
Went through drive-​thru. Wait was reasonable. Got order correctly.
Men’s restroom was disgusting. Floor was wet; paper towels all over the place.
My recommendation: Stick to eating and use the restrooms somewhere else!

I hate it. So gross and fattening and fake. If I ever have to eat fast food in general it will be because there are no other options. My family members have shown me chicken nuggets that have bones in them sometimes and its disgusting.

So I’m here once a year when I need the catalytic converter swapped out on my ’96 Honda Civic. It’s one of these things that I need to do to remind myself why I don’t eat the foods that I don’t eat. It’s the only restaurant that will let me loiter for an extended period of time besides Wendy’s, and lets not kid ourselves, it’s all the same. Also, I don’t know if they have free wi-​fi. I don’t even know when the D swapped to a free service but I do remember in the past paying about 4 bucks for service for all day.
The food; Have you ever consciously eaten a meal here? Like take a bite of the BLT, as seen on the menu which makes no mention of chicken, but you can see it in the picture and the cashier asks «crispy or grilled», but think about what exactly is in your mouth? Like, think about it. Bacon, chicken, lettuce, bread, mayonnaise, and realize that all of those ingredients should have double quotes around them, but once the WTF-​factor sets in, try really hard to swallow. Seriously, is this what food tastes like after licking a car battery minus the pain? no, wait, scratch that. Including the pain! The french fries taste like slow-​cooked strips of tender shoe leather marinated in their own juices. The only thing that tastes like it’s supposed to is the ketchup and the Coke.
The atmosphere; Only society’s finest. You get to overhear such repeatable one liners as, «We need to rally up some Ratchets». Which the YOLO generation refers to as classy young ladies. There’s also complaints of «Cheeseburgers are expensive now, I paid $ 1.05 for this». The fine specimens next to me didn’t realize that soda refills are free. If you need to explore the refined culture further, there’s a Grocery Outlet across the parking lot about 200 feet from the door where you can get a near-​expired energy drink in a dented can for about 0.27 cents, I kid you not. When you’re sticky with special sauce, there’s always a water feature outside where you can wash your hands.
The service: Well, not much to be said. She asked me how I wanted my meat. She gave me the water I asked for without the expected attitude of a minimum wage worker. My meal did not appear or taste of any human body fluids.
Edit: A special mention to the gentleman employee I saw at the restaurant and later at the MAX stop standing looking not at all with the typical «I have no business here» posture of a drug dealer. He saw me standing at the ticket machine trying to read the display through the graffiti and asked if I was going to purchase an all-​day pass. Before I could answer he manifested one with a price request of $ 2, (a $ 4 value!). He then walked off into the night. at 2pm. I appreciate that McDonald’s hires such community oriented individuals that wait around for someone else to be inconvenienced to offer a better service than was previously available. you are a gentleman and a scholar.
I’ll be back next year for more shenanigans when my next catalytic converter stops working for more people watching and shameful dining.

They are nice here, but the McDonald’s here is always dirty when I go in there. The floor was sticky and it smelled funny. There was an employee out clean the restaurant but I don’t think she could smell it or something. Every time I go the floors are sticky over by the coke machines. But this visit it was sticky everywhere.
The parking lot is a pain but they have no control over that. The minus one star is for the inside of the McDonald’s.
