Our $ 3,065 order with Northwest Metal Buildings, placed and paid for via Bill Me Later /Pay Pal on November 16, 2013 was dishonored by the manufacturer, West Coast Metal Buildings on January 8, 2014 when they discovered seven weeks post-order that they were not paid for our order by their dealer, NWMB. Sixteen weeks later we received notice that our dispute claim had been resolved and we are supposed to be getting a check in the mail for the $ 500 we had paid on the balance due(it is like a credit card). The rest of the charge was reversed by Bill Me Later after seeing our documentation. If you do not have plenty of free time and do not have copies of all your stuff, all phone calls and correspondence, you are not going to be able to go through the drawn out legalese process of filing a dispute. Northwest Metal Buildings is an independent dealer who takes your order but after that you deal only with West Coast Metal Buildings the manufacturer for order fulfillment and install. Our first attempt to leave this review was culled out by the site’s auto screen software because we gave full details about this metal building dealer’s questionable business practices. Too much site liability I guess. Anyway, you can order the same building at the same price directly from WCMB online. Avoid using Bill Me Later six months no interest or you could get the same treatment from NWMB(or any other online dealer) as we did by ordering online from dealers who display the logo of that Pay Pa six mobths no interestl promotion. Also, we lost $ 1,300 in site prep expenses, including removing a nice fence that we were told by NWMB needed to go to allow the installers access, because we do not have $ 3,065 cash to reorder from WCMB directly, though in recompense they did offer us a 10% discount.

We ordered a building from Northwest Metal Buildings September 13th it was installed Dec 13th. They misquoted a feature, increased the price, and sent a new invoice to the Provider(West Coast Metal Buildings). We were not notified, found out when we tried to schedule an install date. I spoke with both Northwest Metal Buildings and West Coast Metal Buildings requesting an update and install date; four separate times I was told they would get back to me, never happened. We had David out to review our site prior to completing the order. There was a high spot we were concerned about, he said no additional work was necessary; the crew would take care of it. What he didn’t say, was that taking care of it meant bowing the bottom rail, we would have dug down the 6 inches so that it could lay flat and straight. This is getting long so I will stop. The building looks pretty good, no customer service is provided. If you have a problem, you are out of luck.
