I was told they deliver to Orenco Taphouse, so I called in an order and was told they don’t, even though the table next to me got theirs delivered. No worries, it’s down the street so I decided to walk. I ordered a half pepperoni half pineapple. Right after I ordered, another table received a delivery from them, so I was a little irritated. Nevertheless, I walked over. The girl was nice enough but I was disappointed to find 3 rings of cold pineapple obviously placed after my pizza was cooked just put on top of the the pepperoni. The pizza was fine. But I was disappointed in the service as well as the obvious confusion on whether they did in fact deliver to Orenco Taphouse or not. Next time I’ll just bring my own snacks and save $ 23.

We just moved here from California yesterday. Sitting here just finishing up a late lunch here. We love the location, atmosphere, cleanliness(except the bathroom) I lost my leg in November. It’s a new experience trying to use a bathroom. I think before it wouldn’t really matter but now I guess it does. The menu is good, the spicy tater tots are NOT Spicy, and the jalapeño infused meatballs are NOT infused i.e. Not spicy. Most of all we enjoyed the the company, kindness, and personality of Ryan who took care of us the entire time! The greatest assets of ANY business is it people! This company is lucky to have Ryan on their team! We will be back! :0) J

Love the pizza, the drinks, and their tacos! I also had the public house salad once that was good as well! Since we live within walking distance, we love coming here and usually find really great service. It is a regular spot for us now!

Gluten free pizza was outstanding– crust thin and crispy, topping fresh and hot. Jordan was our waitress and was attentive and quick. My husband had a regular pizza which was very good too. We will go back to try the rest of the menu. You probably will have to parallel park for this area. Prices very reasonable. Kid friendly, 10 t.v.‘s, smallish place, nice neighborhood vibe.

I find most of the staff friendly and engaging. Food has been inconsistent pizza crust for one. My biggest knock are the drunks, allowed to linger at the bar, glaring and making rude gestures towards your female companion. This has happened 3 times I suggest staff, when a ware of this, should be instructed to 86 these asses. The bar seems to be a magnet for jerks looking for a fight as was last night when i inadvertently bumped a chair trying to leave my cramped table excused myself and even apologized when I returned but this 51 year old jack off wanted to throw down. I see a trend developing here and its time ownership step it up not withstanding I am over 60 I hope your insurance is up to date. Your responsibility is to provide a safe environment for your customers.

Since I am a dirty hippie vegan now, I have not personally eaten here BUT I have spent a lot of time ordering from here and picking up here for the rest of my friends and family. My toddler, loves the pizza here. Before this place, pizza was hit or miss. Even my homemade pizza was a flop in comparison to this place, so for that alone, 3 stars. If they had some vegan options for me to try, that would be great. Wouldn’t be too hard to put a vegan pizza option on the menu like a pizza salad like MOD Pizza will do for you or even Round Table but yeah, looking forward to see if they add more things in the future but for the time being, 3 stars is where it is at.

This place is awesome. The location is really convenient, they have a great happy hour, the staff is always really personable and helpful, and the patio is dog friendly. One of my hubby and I’s regular spots. :)

Never stepping foot in this place again! It’s too cramped and crowded. It’s seat yourself with people spread out and sharing tables. The manager assured us while we were waiting that a couple was gonna pay their bill and we could take their place. Except when the time came for the couple to leave, the small 3 person fam moved a seat over and spread out to reserve the whole 8 person table for people who were coming. The manager did nothing and was too busy trying to help other people find seats in a already full house. So my family that were present had to wait longer?! No thanks we left!!! Too small and inefficient of a place, not worth it!

Came here last night after the holiday ale festival. I shared a large pizza with my family. The pizza is always good. To me it’s just like any of the pizza shmizzas. I would come again to try their drinks and maybe some other stuff other than pizza but overall the place looked nice the bathroom was pretty decent considering and our server was nice.

I had high expectations since other Schmizza locations operate so well. Unfortunately, this one does not operate well. Went in for lunch with my family and out took a very long time for the food to come out of the kitchen. Our four orders also came out at two separate times, about 5 minutes apart. Suggestions for the staff: Offer condiments when sandwiches are on the order, filter the tap water, get faster service from the kitchen, offer free refills on soft drinks. We’ll wait a few weeks before trying this place again. Hopefully it will get better.

This is in my neighborhood, and I am so glad that it is. I have eaten here several times. The pizza, of coarse, is excellent. The fish n’ chips was good, and their shrimp was excellent. It is a little expensive, but there are good deals during happy hour. They don’t really have deserts, which I find odd, but since a gelato place going in around the corner it is easily forgiven. I think that this is a new concept for them, so it may take them some time to work out all of the kinks, but I am willing to stick with them while they do. Welcome to the neighborhood!

I was so excited to have them in the neighborhood, but now so disappointed. The service is inconsistent, some days they deliver some days they don’t. I really was hoping for so more, oh well looking forward to the other new restaurants opening in the hood!

Found a great place with amazing food. Pizza is not a go to food these days but Public House is all about things other than pizza. For sure they do pizza but this is more a restaurant with excellent salads and beverages than a pizza shop for which I am familiar with the name. The branded name almost kept me out but glad I found it. Great staff and management does give a $&@? And it shows. Just steps off the Max Blue Line. I have have made several visits as a new regular and have been impressed with everything … Great libations if you’re into that kind of thing as well.

Well, unfortunately it hasn’t been able to live up to our first experience. We’ve been twice since and had not so good experiences. Second time we went at 1pm for lunch. They had one girl serving the entire restaurant and it took 45 minutes after we ordered to get our food. Not good when you’re on a lunch break! Third time we went with our 5-year old daughter. Service was once again slow, but the most upsetting thing was that we asked for a kids menu and were told they don’t have one. So unless you order pizza and share, there are no small plates for kids. This surprised us because Bethany Public House has one. That makes it hard for us to go back when we have our daughter with us, which is most of the time. Hope they fix that and also the service.

Been here twice — once was pretty good, once was very bad. Came in for lunch, and had a terribly rude and disrespectful waitress. She spent her time flirting at the bar. I called afterwards and asked to speak to the manager about it. When I did, I realized that the«rude waitress» is the actual manager. Not a good sign. Went in for dinner another night, the rude manager wasn’t there, and the staff was much more friendly and seemed more in control. Recommendation would be to go here in the evenings, but not during the day.

Tried this new spot out last night and LOVEDIT. Great mash up of Bethany Public House and Schmizza. The drink selection was pretty large, including some Bethany Brews that were tasty. Happy hour prices made the drinks even better. ;) The food we had was yummy(happy hour cheese curds and schmeezy bread) and the service was friendly and prompt. We even got some random free shots of Fireball from the owner! Thanks! My favorite part was the atmosphere. The Orenco area is great and this spot fit right in. The outdoor seating was excellent along with the fact that nearly an entire wall could be opened up to bring the outside in.(Let’s enjoy it for at least a little while longer, please??) Overall great new spot that I hope to go back to soon! Edited to 4 stars because parking is rough over in this area…
