Alfonso’s Pizzeria & Restaurant

This is a gem in a sea of mediocre Italian restaurants and pizzerias. Amazing and unique daily specials are delivered piping hot to your table by an attentive and friendly wait staff (Kristin is tops). In my most recent visit I ordered Angel Hair with Swiss Chard and Sausage. It was superb in quality and well priced. Your most difficult choice will be do you go here for lunch or dinner? I have done both on the same day a few times! There are many repeat customers (always a good sign) and is perfect for families and friends. And the pizza is very good too!

There are a couple of Alfonso’s in the area, but this is my favorite one of them all. The food is great and I highly suggest you pick it up in person if you have the option. The staff that greats you is also very friendly. I have some favorite’s here but you can’t go wrong with their pizza. It’s affordable and very taste and is good to reheat a few days later (something I can’t do with most pizzas from other places). It helps that this place is right around the corner from me, but even if it was not, I would go out of my way a bit to get their pizza and other dishes as well.

I really like their pizza and linguine with white clam sauce. I would go back again and again. The original dining area can be nicer. the extended bar area is very nice.

I have been going to Alfonso’s for years. I enjoy their food and garlic knots. It’s a nice casual place for dinner and great for take out. My two favorite dishes are salmon penne and penne bolognese it’s soooooo good. I recently tried their grilled vegetable salad and it’s my new favorite! The staff is very polite and always nice.

I wish there were more stars for this place! Such amazing Italian food, and the service was phenomenal. Would have never expected to find such good food here but I’m so glad I did! Will be coming back and recommending to others!

Have been eating there & getting their take-​out for years. LOVE their ziti bolognese. Baked gnocchi in pink sauce and shrimp scampi are also quite good. Portions are generous, so you can easily make 2 meals out of one order. Service can be uneven, especially on a busy night, but for me, it’s definitely a winner.

Oy. A good way to lose a customer was perfectly outlined by a recent experience at Alfonso’s.
Called up, ordered a sandwich to be delivered across the street. The guy taking the order says «you can’t just come get it?» Well… when someone is at work and calling for delivery, isn’t it obvious that they cannot come and pick it up? Wtf.
After the rude comment was made the guy took the order «grilled chicken, wet mozz, roasted red pepper sandwich.» Was told that it would arrive in 15 minutes. Fast forward 45 minutes and ta da! The coveted sandwich from Alfonso’s arrived! Unfortunately they messed the order up and delivered a chicken cutlet instead of the grilled chicken on the sandwich.
Only star is because the sandwich was large in portion size and satisfying, but the attitude when the order was placed and then the error on top of it was a large turnoff. Most likely will look elsewhere next time lunchtime rolls around. Word to management: train your employees in appropriate customer service.

Great place to go for delivery, take out or even sit down meals. Alfonso’s is always a great choice to eat any time of the week. I prefer other places if I’m looking for pizza but their entrees are definitely top notch. The staff is always very friendly and attentive to your table’s needs. It’s not very often that your glass gets completely empty. Their Angel Hair Bolognese is one of the best pasta dishes I have had. Very creamy red sauce with the perfect amount of meat. Their Chicken Francaise is also a great choice if you’re looking for poultry. No matter what you choose, the portions are large enough for you to fill up on and take the rest of your plate home to eat later.

The Pizza is very good… everybody think there place has good pizza… well this isn’t my place and they have very good pizza as well as there platters, soups, pasta and meatballs… very good pizza restaurant.

The pizza is outstanding. Ordered takeout with delivery estimate of 25 minutes. Pizza delivered in one hour and 25 minutes. Hungry kids equals unhappy kids equals no fun for parents. We’ll still order again. Hoping they’ll set proper wait time expectation next time.

We are very picky about pizza. We are also on a tight budget. Alfonsos meets both criteria. The pizza is second to none and the price especially on Mondays is great.
They also have quite a few other Italian specialties on the menu. We love the pasta dishes.

Great food, nice hometown place to eat in or take out. My favorite is the penne vodka and ceasar salad. Pizza is good too and the fettuccine Alfredo and eggplant rollatini too.

Pizza is very good! All members of our family love their pizza. They use fresh mushrooms.

Friendly neighborhood Italian pizzeria/​restaurant with consistently great food. One of my favorite local go to BYOB places. A big fan of the bread knots, bolognase sauce as well as the eggplant parm. The owner, Paul, always makes it a point to say hello to his regular customers and makes you feel welcome.

It has one of the best sangria s around. Amazing spread of pizzas and taste pretty well too. Must visit and a favourite for italian

This place is a hidden gem! Great food for great price. I had a chicken parm and my husband a lasagna, and both were delicious, tasted like my grandma’s and my
Mom’s food! I cant wait to come back and try other pasta options. Very family oriented and quiet.

Best pizza in town. Always consistantly delicious. Veal scampi over spinach is my favorite dish. Lunches are a bargain and the owner Paul is always around. He loves food and his customers and it shows.
