Pretty mediocre fusion indo-asian food. In a recent dinner order, all 4 items(2 apps and 2 entrees) tasted exactly the same. They seem to use the same brown, chili/onion/garlic base sauce in half of their offerings. The portion sizes are also rather small for the prices when comparing to similar restaurants. One positive is that the wait staff was very pleasant, but overall there are countless other better options for this type of food in central NJ.

Ridiculously pricy Stayed awake all night after eating their food due to heartburn and upset stomach! Not sure what they put in their food. Praying to feel better. Don’t try it please.

Best Thai food in Hillsborough! And easily the best service… I stopped in one night with family and came directly from work. I had dropped some food onto my tie accidentally while eating the Bangkok Chicken(highly recommended). Within a minute, one of the servers was over to my table with napkins, seltzer water, and a cleaning solution to help. Fantastic service!

DELICIOUSFOOD! They remember you if you order commonly and appreciate your business. Only negative is the delivery wait can be long on weekends, but that’s expected on busy evenings. Highly recommended by me!!!

Excellent food and terrific service. We ordered the Tom Ga soup, Haka Chili Chicken and Chicken fried rice. It was all super tasty and very fresh. Definitely coming back and would definitely recommend. My husband is Indian and said this food is exactly like the Chinese you get in Mumbai.

I just have to say everything i have tried has been pretty bad, the pad thai is just too weird, its like they really try to mix indian and thai and chinese in every dish and it doesnt work, the red curry shrimp was ok, but the shrimp itself was pretty disgusting, the dumplings come with a spicy saunth instead of whatever you usually get, its just a weird blend, also delivery took about 95 minutes, dont go

I ordered using Grubhub and I was told to pick up between 8:55pm and 9:05pm(a 40 – 50 minutes of preparation time). I reached there around 9:05 pm and the food was ready around 9:30 pm. This was least expected! The food was fine but the portion size was too less compared to how much they charged. In a nutshell, there are a lot of eateries where I can get Indian Chinese food in Central Jersey. It’s unlikely that I’ll return to this place again!

Delicious Thai-Indian with a greet selection and many interesting menu items. The décor is very tropical feeling, and has a large display that has a slideshow of menu items for people who don’t know exactly what to expect from reading the menu. Only downside was the spice level, my girlfriend asked for extra spice, but it wasn’t very spicy.

Consistently good food. Ambience is nice too, cozy setup good for couples or families. Service is usual nothing extraordinary We have tried the lotus root appetizer — excellent. Thai curry dishes very good. Friends tell me that chicken dishes are prepared well too. Only downside is the prices– I feel they are overpriced a bit I do recommend this place if you really like Indo — Chinese food.

Amazing food! I think I may have found the spot for my Thai and Indian food! I got the crispy duck it was delish! I got it with the red Thai curry and coconut sauce, not a fan of their version it was a little too thick and creamy unlike some Thai restaurants that is a little more runny. I’m not saying I like it watery either, just In between if that makes sense, besides that it was still delicious! The chicken fried rice was so good would make you get on your knees and pray to mother Mary and Joseph delicious! I got it mild because of sensitive stomach and it was definitely mild and so robust in flavor! Will definitely order out again.

Ordered from grub hub. Food was here in extremely timely manner(less then 30 minutes) Veggy egg rolls and chicken dumplings were great. Pad Thai was unexceptional. Chicken Satay skewers were good.

Food is quite good. Red and Green currys are excellent, as is the Haka chili. That said for the price, the portions are too small. Not only that, but they don’t even give you enough rice for your entrée. You shouldn’t have to order additional rice considering the prices they charge. Had to dock them a star for the price to portion ratio.

Last Sunday me & my husband were craving for Indian Chinese food in NJ. We had just shifted to the neighborhood, so thought of checking this place… Someone has rightly said that dnt judge a book by its cover. The line goes perfect for this place, I was very sceptical about going to this place but trust me guys this has been so far the best Indian Chinese we have tasted in US. The place is clean & neatly kept. Not much of the crowd, we started by ordering soup just to know that we chose the right place for d ngt The soup we ordered was my favorite Mon chow soup, it was so perfect that I was not ready to share with my husband. The next was the appetizer we ordered, nd we were ready to try new dishes which was flashing on the LCD, the basil potatoes. I must say it was perfectly marination and cooked too. We did enjoy that also. Next we had ordered main course which was hakka noodles nd vegetable gravy with panner. Just to let the cook know the quality of paneer was not gud… to keep in mind for next time… Again coming back to my main course, it was simply mind blowing… I wish they could increase the quantity as the portion was pretty less for the amount they charge. Last but not the least the manager recommended us to have their signature dessert which is the paan ice– cream, I must say whoever visits this place should atleast try out this ice cream. Overall it was an amazing dinner we had. I just wish if they could increase little of their quantity…

This place is kick. ass. I had been looking for places that do Indo-Chinese food, and this turned out to be a great find. Many of the dishes truly taste like a fusion of Indian and Chinese cuisine. My favorites so far: the Manchurian, the Thai Biryani, and the Massamun Curry.

Stopped by Sunday afternoon for lunch. There were a couple of other tables being served. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Menu represents Asian Fusion well with a mix of cuisines represented and/or blended together. Ordered the Spicy Mango Sauce entrée with Shrimp. The shrimp was lightly breaded and tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly, not over cooked. The vegetables in the sauce were OK. As advertised the sauce was spicy and had a nice kick. It had a slight flavor of mango but was somewhat over powered by the sweetness of the sauce. Would have preferred a little more mango flavor and little bit less sweetness. Overall it was good and I will definitely be be back to try more dishes.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I totally would. The food at Bombay Wok is PHENOMENAL. The staff and service is PHENOMENAL. This place is simply PHENOMENAL. We ordered the fried okra and some potato appetizer(can’t remember the name) for starters. You need to order the fried okra. So spicy and so flavorful and so crunchy. We then ordered some lo mein, chicken, and green curry tilapia. Wow. Each dish had such a perfect blend of spices. I’ve had fusion before where it’s just oily and greasy and gross but the food here was just perfectly done. For dessert we ordered the paan ice cream. Let me start by saying I never usually eat paan. I’m not a fan of it and never have been. but the paan ice cream is a total different story. The ice cream is creamy which bits of crunchy paan mixed in. True perfection. Really. Simply put, make sure you go to Bombay Wok

This is a lovely jewel hidden in Hillsborough. The restaurant is nicely decorated for a subdued family experience into Asia. They offer Indian, Thai, Malaysian dishes with a tilt towards the North American palate. Definitely try the Roti Canai! It is a delicious appetizer. Light, flaky and sweet. I had the Panang curry with Lamb. The Panang sauce was a little milder than I am used to. It was rich in flavor but played more on the subtlety of the spices. It is perfect for someone who is trying out Thai for the first time. This restaurant is a good place to go if you want to begin expanding your horizons but don’t want to leave home just yet.

Very, very impressed with our experience last night. We had been about a year or so ago(before the renovations) and had a good experience, but not so mind-blowing that we considered making the 30+ minute drive from our house. My mom is a vegetarian and we were pizza’d out, so we thought we’d head over to Bombay Wok. We had 5 appetizers(Hot and Sour soup, papaya salad, chicken satay, Roti Kanai, and Chili Paneer). They were all excellent. For dinner, we ordered a chicken Bombay Sizzler, Malaysian chicken curry, and veggies and paneer in coriander garlic sauce. Again, mostly winners, though my mom would have liked the veggies and paneer in coriander garlic to be a little more spicy. For dessert, we had the mango cheesecake, the paan ice cream, and the ras malai. We also got a sample of the coffee/rum cheesecake. These were all perfect… seriously. The cheesecakes were both delicious and a perfect texture – not to hard or soft. The Paan ice cream tasted EXACTLY like paan… it was so good. Bottom line – they’ve really stepped up their game. Great food, great service. I was really impressed. If you’ve ever been to Nanking and suffered through their lousy service, you’ll find Bombay Wok and refreshing(and much better!) alternative. Give it a try! OH! They’ve also started a weekend lunch buffet. We haven’t tried that yet, but we definitely will soon.
