Dees Heating & A/C Service

Dees has come over to my house three times. Except for the time when my HVAC needed a freon charge, he’s only charged me the minimum labor charge. My house has two HVAC units that are commercial units, both uncommon for a home and uncommon in general. I’ve had HVAC repair places refuse to service these units because they were too unusual. So I like that he’ll take me, and I like that he’s fast. I’m also impressed (as an engineer) that he has gotten the failure down to «this capacitor is blown» and he even had one handy on his truck.
Someone who works for my husband called one winter morning to say she had no heat and her friend from NY was coming to visit that day, so she probably wasn’t coming to work. I gave her the number for Dees, he came right over to fix it (minimum labor charge again, she was thrilled), and all was well for work and friend visit.
He only does repairs, not installs, and I suspect this leads to higher-​quality repairs overall. He’s a nice guy who does good work.
