Family Foot & Ankle Specialists

I went into the Piscataway, NJ office. This office just wants to glean money out of you. Even though I had an xray done, they wanted to do another one. They also wanted to do an ultrasound of my foot before even getting a recommendation from the doctor. The doctor did not want any when he came in. However, he used the entire 15 – 20 minutes he spent with me to sell $ 500 worth of inserts which my insurance will not cover, and which upon further research I found may not be the best solution. I recommend you to stay away from this doctor.

I do not know may be those 2 positive reviews used different doctor but my personal experience was nothing short of horrible.
I do not remember doctor name because it was a year ago but here is what I went through.
1. I came in with ingrown nail. As easy as it gets.
2. First doctor forgot to sterilize my foot or the instrument.
3. Second doctor decided to remove ingrown nail WITHOUT anesthesia. Yes he wanted to do it WITHOUT numming shot. I was screaming in pain.
4. I do not know what nail gauge he used to do shots but it was do painful that I was screaming again.
5. Finally he did something and put bandage on it.
Here comes the best part.
Several days later the pain returned even worse than before. This time I went to different foot specialist right on the corner of 206 and triangle rd. O my god what a difference. Sterile instruments, numbing shot I barely feel and best part he took out half an inch nail hook from my toe. Apparently previous hack of a doctor just cut a bit of the corner and never removed the ingrown part.
STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH!!!

I also began coming here recently and honestly created a Unilocal account so that I could convey to you all how great this practice is! Dr. Waters and her team are super friendly and genuinely take an interest in each of their patients. I had such a great first experience that I recommended the practice to my family and now we all come to this location. Pala at the front desk is great! We always chat for a bit before and after my appointments. This practice truly has that «family» feel that you don’t come by often!

My family started coming here recently to see Dr Dana Waters. She’s THE BEST Podiatrist in the business! She explains everything and spends a lot of time with you. She doesn’t rush you out the door and her staff is very knowledgeable and courteous. 10 out of 10 Stars! They are closed from 1pm-​2pm for lunch.
