This place is «Out of their mind» with their prices. Came out to my house and quoted me $ 1,500 to relocate my current unit 6 feet so I can dig footings for a new addition. This quote didn’t include the electric which I told them I would do myself. I got the unit moved and recharged for $ 550 from a Carrier dealer. They then quoted me almost $ 15,000 for a 15 SEER Lennox A/​C & gas furnace combo and duct work. Lennox is a great unit, but still a shade under Carrier. I told them that I got a quote for a 16 SEER Carrier Performance unit and furnace. They told me that they must be leaving something out and wanted my quote so they can compare. So I emailed them a detailed copy of the quote for the Carrier system and duct work at $ 9,200 and they wouldn’t even call me back. Beware and get several quotes. I didn’t even go with that Carrier quote because I found another Carrier dealer who even beat the $ 9200 one by over $ 700. But this Fras-​Air place, they’re off their rocker!!!

Service Experts installed the 2 system, 3 zone system when the house was new in 2005. They’ve maintained it ever since. Noticed the upstairs system was not cooling and called this morning. They said they’d have somebody here at 4:00 but luckily Matt was available sooner. Fixed the capacitor in the chiller and we worked together to make some adjustments on the electronic dampers in the basement. Very satisfied.

Called 8am for no heat and they came out that afternoon. Tech diagnosed problem, explained it to me, made suggestions, and fixed the problem while here. What I paid was very reasonable too.

Service is good if you get the right technician. Some are real winners that come out for routine maintenance. The tech’s that come out for repairs are generally good. They nickel and dime you for filters, prices going up every year. They are hit or miss like most repair places, roll he dice and hope you win.
