Cute little store and wonderful little items you wouldn’t find anywhere else. Service was great!

Mint chocolate chip is sooo creamy. At a loss for words. I’m lactose intolerant, but it was well worth it.

Cute little shop in harbor town and a great stop for amazing ice cream! My husband and I both got the monster cookie ice cream and I swear I will be back again on this vacation just to taste it again. We also bought a delicious bottle of peach amaretto jam which we can see perfect paired with a pork tenderloin. Can’t wait to go back for more ice cream and to try the jam!

Always a favorite stop for ice cream in Harbour Town, the Cinnamon Bear has delicious flavors and (my favorite) free sprinkles. They are also a great little shop with tons of souvenirs like jams, salsas, candles, and toys for the kids. They’re located just across from the trolley stop and right in the middle of all the shops.

Lots of locals say Cinammon Bear has the best ice cream in Hilton Head. I think it’s top 2 with Ice Cream Cone in Coligny Plaza. It’s creamy, there’s a variety of flavors, and they give big scoops!

At Cinnamon’s you’ll get service with a smile and the ice cream is outta sight! Fair price for quality product in resort town. Owners couldn’t be any nicer or more generous.

I have been coming to HHI for almost 20 years. I’ve been in this store at least once a year. This time I brought my purchase to the counter and neither cashier acknowledged me. They continued their conversation with each other and never once looked at me or thanked me for coming in. If this were my first visit I would never come back. I will give them another shot next year.

Best cookie dough ice cream I have ever had! My husband and son both had the cookie monster and pecan praline ice cream! Also delicious!

Let’s get this straight, when you come from America’s dairy land; Wisconsin, you become accustom to eating ice cream, but not all ice creams are equal. My family and I come to HHI every year, but this is the first time that we tried this place.
My favourite flavour is MINT… Whether I am having frozen custard, frozen yogurt, sherbet, gelato, sorbet, water ice or soft served ice cream, my spoon doesn’t go for the gold, it goes for the green.
During this visit I had the Mint Chocolate Chip, my kids had the Monster Cookie (They chose it because of its name) and my wife had a butter pecan shake. Her shake was good, though I am not a fan of butter pecan. I really enjoyed my mint and so did my kids, they did not like the Monster Cookie ice cream and after talking to someone at Cinnamon Bear, they kindly refunded us the money for it. (This was very nice of them).
The ice cream here is good, though not exceptional. I thought the service here was great. When we purchased the ice cream, we bought two double cups, though we asked the guy if he could put one into two single cups, he said he could put more if he put them into the double cup, so we were able to receive more, plus he gave us an extra cup so the kids could share. Some places are stingy and will not give extra cups, etc… as they could use them to make more money. Here, they do not mind, which is very nice of them. Based on the great service and the quality of the ice cream, I’ll give them 4 stars.

Cinnamon Bear is located in Harbor Town off Hilton Head Island within The Sea Pines resort. If you are not staying within the resort, you will need to pay $ 6.00 to get into the resort area (pass the gates) to visit Harbor Town and to visit this store. Cinnamon Bear is right where the Harbour Town Lighthouse and Museum and other stores are located.

Such a good little ice cream shop. Lots of interesting flavors to choose from. I loved the Cookie Monster double scooped waffle cone, which were 2 VERY generous scoops! ;)

We come to this store ever year for one reason– jelly. They sell a Peach Pecan Jelly that is out of this world. We always buy some to enjoy while in HHI, and some for when we get home.
This store also has Hilton Head Island souvenirs and kids toys. There is also a soda fountain and ice cream bar at this store. They serve Edy’s Ice Cream in cups, cones, or waffle cones. Get one to go and walk around the building to the red rocking chairs overlooking the harbour.

So, let’s be clear: The ice cream here is VERY good, but not amazing. What you’re buying is a wonderfully cold treat to take with you so you can sit down in those rocking chairs, and look upon the water. We went here on back-​to-​back nights.
In terms of HHI experiences, this would get 5-​stars.

Excellent value! They give great portions and the homemade hot chocolate (with milk) was super good. Ice cream was also delicious and it was not overpriced. The root beer float is a great value because it is HUGE! We come here every time we go to Harbour Town. They also will give water to your dog if they are thirsty.

While in Hilton Head over the holidays we decided we needed some delicious ice cream after riding our bikes around town. Enter the Cinnamon Bear Country Store…
Now when you first enter all you see are the kitschy items that all tourists buy on vacation — postcards, cheap t-​shirts, magnets, knick-​knacks. But if you head to the back you’ll find the ice cream. Tons of flavors and options, and the staff was more than happy to help us out. Reasonably priced ice cream in a tourist trap? What a concept.
Warning: if you have kids, don’t bring them into the store. They will quickly clean out your wallet with a bunch of junk that might not even make it back to your hometown!

Great ice cream and friendly staff!

This is a tradition during our summer vacations. The store is tight when it gets crowded but has a lot of nice souvenirs for the kids. The lady working the cash register was very friendly and gave the kids salt water taffy when we checked out. The best part is the ice cream shop in the back of the store. There is a separate entrance if you just want ice cream.
