The wine host was a very friendly lady who took time to chat with us. True, it wasn’t busy at all but still she was very pleasant. Even gave us an extra sample for free!

Nancy was a delightful server! She was patient, knew her product and was very friendly. She was also very accommodating to our group that wanted to share tastings. The Eclipse was a hit in our group of 7! Would definitely return.

When we first decided to stop here I punched in Heron Hill in the gps and was stunned that it was 45 minutes away. We thought it was supposed to be just up the road. I then discovered that we were looking for a tasting room and not the winery. It’s a good concept because otherwise I wouldn’t have had the chance to taste their product since they were at least one lake over from where we were. Overall the wine was good but not exceptional. It was on the dryer side of sweet. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful and the location was convenient.

I went to Heron Hill while vacationing in the Finger Lakes on 8÷13÷14. It was my first experience at a tasting room vs. a winery. I see the appeal. It gives wineries off the trail an opportunity for people to taste their wines. Although the wines at Heron Hill were not my some of my favorites. I can’t really say anything bad about the tasting experience. The tasting room was clean and the staff was very professional. I would say this is a nice stop if you want to pick up some souviners as well. They had a lot of wine related items for sale other than their wine itself.

They have 2 tasting room and 1 winery in entire finger lake region. I liked their 2011 semi-​dry Riesling and game bird white.
