This is a convenience store but it’s also one of those beating heart of a community type places where everyone seems to drop in at least once a day to gab with other regulars and the friendliest proprietor on the planet. My time is usually the morning because the coffee is very good and they stock French roast (they also have a popular flavor called snickerdoodle if you’re into that sort of thing). Among the best kept secrets in Hingham though are the cold sandwiches that they make by hand daily. They’re not fancy but there’s usually a variety and they are the best sandwich value on the South Shore. In the summertime they offer an even better deal on amazing lobster rolls. Check it out.
