Firehouse Subs

They get my order wrong EVERY TIME I go in… just over it but I do love firehouse subs

So I regret giving this place 3 stars. That was the only time my order has ever been wrong. But really I love this restaurant. I have never had a bad sub from them. I couldn’t figure out how to delete the review, so I just upgraded it.

Got a hook and ladder for a flight across the country. Great travel solution.

Love their food! The service is a little slow though– but it’s not a huge deal. I either enjoy an Italian sub, or as a lighter option I will get a kids meal turkey and cheese. Their steamed subs are SO good. You can choose a brownie or a cookie instead of a bag of chips, and I always choose a brownie. They are so moist and delicious. They also have one of those new coke machines in there with 100’s of flavor options. Great place for lunch or dinner. Check them out if you’re in the area.

YUM! I loved Firehouse subs and will definitely go back next time we’re in the area! I wish I had gotten a kid’s meal so I could have taken home one of the slick firehats for my kids! They were PACKED busy when I went but my food was ready in less than 5 minutes. Friendly staff and delicious subs!

On Father’s Day, I called this restaurant, one I frequent. We had a Father’s Day coupon and could not order on-​line with the coupon, so I called the store. Let the girl know we were using a coupon, and proceeded to order a large sub, with a drink and chips in order to get my husband his free medium sub for Father’s Day. (I have a pic of the coupon). So we completed our order and I sent my husband on Father’s Day to get his own meal to pick up and come home (I was on antibiotics and not feeling well). Upon arriving, the checkout girl said it was not valid with purchasing a large sub and drink and chips to get the free medium sub. He left, without any compromise from her. I called the restaurant later, and found out that Deanna, the mgr., had told her the checkout girl that morning that this was the policy on this coupon. That is very bad customer service, especially since there were no exclusions listed on the coupon. Terrible experience on such an important day. You no longer have my love, Firehouse. Oh, and when I called about it, I also got no good feedback about this. Basically, too bad, tough luck, not my problem.

Guilty pleasure on lazy nights after work. Regular italian «fully involved» is my favorite. Blows the other sub chains away. Only suggestion, get a manager that livens up the place. Those kids never look like their having a good time at work there.

Love the idea of supporting the originator’s of this business. Good sandwiches, decent priced. Don’t care for their mayo alternative.

One of the few places I’ve checked in and reviewed that already had reviews. Oh how amazing is this place. The flavor combinations, the options. I was surprised how fast the food got to the table. I almost cried upon the first bite of the brisket sandwich I had. AND THE FIRE OPTIONS! I’m in love with this place. Second firehouse I’ve been to and defiantly not the last.

I had the new Hawaiian pulled pork sandwich, tasted absolutely amazing! I ate it like I was a dude, there’s no cute way to eat a pulled pork sandwich. There was quite a wait to get my sandwich as it seemed like it was training day but the manager gave me a cookie as a make good on that long wait so it was all good, and it tasted good lol!

Never had a bad experience at Firehouse! The service is always very friendly and the restaurant is clean. I always order the same sandwich and it always tastes exactly the same as last time. Better quality of meats than other sub shops. And now they have a Coca Cola machine with about 120 different flavors including Peach Mello Yellow (yum!)

I enjoy the hook & ladder when I visit Firehouse subs — they are really great sandwiches! They custom make your order fresh, so you’ll have a bit of a wait. Call ahead to get a faster pickup!

Apples to apples… compared to other sub places… no comparison! My only regret is not trying them earlier! First of all… neat, clean, and very nice staff. Most of the subs are served hot. An 8 inch sub, plus chips, plus a large drink for between 7 – 8 $. Sounds a little high… but the sub and drink were both huge. I could not begin to finish my Italian sub. An 8 inch sub is BIG… with about quadruple the meat as in a Subway sub. Mine literally had about a ¾″ of meat, in addition to lettuce, tomato, onion, etc. Tea was also good… with crushed ice (yay!) and lemon wedges.
