Food was ok but as soon as I walked into this place I noticed a dirty filthy carpet where the tables to eat are located. This really turned me off. As I looked around I saw dust all over the place on top of things hanging on the walls. Bathroom was Gross. I could just imagine what the kitchen looks like. I really couldn’t enjoy my meal. Pull the nasty carpet up, clean the place up and this place could be a winner!

What a great find. Had the lobster bisque and cakebread sauv blanc. Amazing! Shannon was a sweet heart and helped guide my choices. Very Classic Floridian Décor and atmosphere.

Great find off the usual tourist track. Had the catch of the day sandwich– blackened mahi mahi. The sizable portion included a mix of regular and sweet potato fries. Nice looking wait staff too. Great atmosphere. Unfortunately there’s no wifi. My server says it had been abused. But that’s not reason to take away a star from this review. After all, the sign on the door says no shell phones.

We stopped for a Sunday afternoon dinner at «Flash Beach Grill» and the food was super good. I had the lobster roll which was huge(and tasty). I’d also suggest trying the vegetarian platter. We had a veggy-saurus with us and she enjoyed the vegetarian option. I think it was called the beachgirl. They have inside and outside seating and both look cozy. The outside seating was under tiki hut tables and I heard they do live music on Friday and Saturday nights. The inside seating was spacious and comfortable. There is also an inside bar. The place is a bit pricey, but well worth it. You get huge portions and the food is made with love. We didn’t get anything after the meal(because we were all full) so I can’t help on the deserts. Flash Beach Grill is worth the 7 mile ride off of I-95 if you’re passing through town.

This place should be 3 or 4 $ with the prices they charge. The food was good but I expect it to be for what we paid. Service was also a little slow but no mistakes. All in all I’d recommend this place again when you want to splurge.

Service was extremely slow. It took almost an hour just get our salads and bread. I ordered the Mahi, blackened, which tasted like lighter fluid. My wife ordered the Surfer Girl vegetable platter which was bland and uninspired considering it was $ 22. I really see no reason to return unless I’m looking for an overpriced and slow dining experience.

It was my first time here. Saturday afternoon about 4:30 and the place was empty but it looked like they were getting ready for the evening crowd. The service was great! The staff was friendly and attentive. Let’s talk about the food. My buddy had the lobster roll I had the Ihuru salad topped with blackened Mahi and we both had a cup of lobster bisque. The lobster bisque was good not the best I’ve had but I would absolutely order it again. The salad was fresh as was the Mahi, terrific presentation. I almost licked the plate clean. My friend loved the lobster roll. I will be returning for a lobster roll of my own real soon.

Wow!!! Our first Conch Fritters… Funny story… we didn’t even order these. Surprise… they were free because(we came in the middle of the lunch/dinner change over) the food took a little longer than expected. I was just thinking in my head that the food was taking a little long and then without having to say a word, a beautiful dish of conch fritters showed up at no charge. I love when business recognizes an «issue» and fix it before it is even an issue. They were delicious. The Ihuru Salad and Cheeseburger… what can I say… Beautiful AND delicious. i

Disappointing. Overpriced. Slow service. Just a few words to describe this place. I’m surprised at the 4.5 star rating here. I didn’t eat their seafood because I’m vegan, but the one vegan option they had was an epic failure. Also, there were multiple attempts at being original that were also failures… Their spicy Coke slaw sucked. And the salad that came with the crab cakes was a joke. Too bad. Won’t be coming back here again any time soon. Oh well… Next!

We took my grandma here for her birthday. The wait staff was incredibly nice and very laid back. It has all the food of a high class restaurant without the pomposity. The decorations are cute and its a wonderful place to sit back, relax, and enjoy some amazing food and company.

We have been going to the Flash for years and it continues to put out delicious food in a relaxed environment with excellent service and smiles. As a patron here, you are immediately welcomed and can chose between dining at high tops, tables the bar or outside while under the stars with a fire pit for to take the edge off of the cool winter nights, while surrounded by palm trees. We are creatures of habit when we come here, sitting at the bar and I always get the conch fritters and ahi sushi over a bed of greens; this is actually an appetizer, but it plenty to eat with the fritters for a full meal. I usually accompany that with a Guinness. My wife orders the Hess Chardonnay and always the Lobster roll, taking home at least half of it for lunch the next day. We have never walked out of here disappointed and always felt better than when we arrived. II have tied the Hula Girl Hibachi many times before switching over to the Ahi tuna. I will say, that the price of the Hess Chardonnay is a bit too steep and their fish specials are on the rather high side, but they do not lack on presentation, preparation or taste.

We were not impressed. The soup and the salad dressing was very salty. The service was fair. My lobster and crabmeat was excellent. My wife’s fish was fair. She wanted to take it home but the waiter didn’t ask and took it so fast she didn’t have a chance to tell him. The cheese cake desert was so bad we had to send it back. The waiter who said he was there only a few months will have a problem once season hits. WEWON’T BERETURNING

Found this place on Unilocal looking for food after visiting Jupiter Island. All of the staff was smiling and happy. Lovely décor, very simple. We were only there for a snack but first ended up with the Lobster Bisque. It is serves with Sherry and Oyster crackers. Let me tell you… I would eat this every day of the week regardless of the calories! Drip some sherry in, add a few crackers and enjoy! Hubby had a burger which he found divine and I had the Barbeque Shrimp which was BETTER. Serves with scampi butter and barbecue sauce and wrapped in bacon… My only critique was the hard(potato?) that was wrapped around the shrimp. Overkill and it made it hard to eat. Once you got through that though, the warm bacon and shrimp with a dab of the butter and the sauce… mouthwatering. Had a Chardonnay… kind of pricey but good. They know what they are doing.

Family owned. Casual, beachy and laid back. Spear caught fresh blackened snapper seasoned magically to hypnotize your palette and disappear with the grilled veggies and rice… you leave applauding, feeling enchanted and completely satisfied by this unexpected dining experience in Hobe Sound. Bravo!

Stopped here on out way to Jupiter from Jensen Beach. Great little spot. We saw it driving down and had to do a U-turn to come back. Great seating outside. We just had drinks. But the staff were very friendly.

Flash Beach is a small local restaurant with an eclectic menu. It’s true, you should never judge a book from it’s cover. I believe that this applies to restaurants as well. Located just a mile from the ocean I immediately thought this was just going to be an ordinary lunch. You know the type, overpriced and touristy. Both my dad and I were pleasantly surprised at just how unique this restaurant is. The interior is so cute. Lot’s of «beachy» pictures and knick knacks. Sea shells on the tables and a casual Key West vibe. And two large jugs of homemade sangria sitting on top of the bar. Hard to miss when you first walk through the door. The lunch menu consists of soups, salads, sandwiches and fresh fish. You can eat healthy with a great piece of broiled fish or you can have something decadent like fried clams. The choice is yours but you can be assured that whatever you order will be very fresh. Fresh as in caught that same day. My dad had the chicken tortilla soup. I tasted it and it was delicious. I had the spicy Conch Chowder. My soup was delicious and had a lot of conch in it. I wish it had a bit more heat but it still was pretty good. My dad and I shared the open-faced Lobster Roll. The lobster salad had huge pieces of sweet fresh lobster, a little celery and just a bit of mayonnaise to hold it all together. This is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Tons of succulent lobster, what’s not to love. A combination of assorted fries came with our sandwich. The waffle fries and shoe string fries were good but the sweet potato fries were my favorite. The prices are very fair. Everything is homemade and the ingredients can not be any fresher. The service was excellent. We had a team of two young girls who took great care of us. I am holding back one star because the ladies room was not pretty. I won’t go into details but it does need a lot of improvement. If I lived closer I would definitely be a regular. It’s a great local place to grab lunch or dinner. Also a cool place to stop in for a drink at the tiki like bar. Next time I plan on trying the homemade sangria. I highly recommend this restaurant.
