After swearing we were not going to get a planner and do everything ourselves, we ended up asking Nicole to come on board and help with everything(and we mean EVERYTHING) for the final few months leading up to the wedding. Working with Nicole was a fantastic experience — she was always very professional, whether dealing with us, or venue, or vendors, but also has a casual, relaxed approach to planning that made communicating our ideas very easy. Right from the get-go, Nicole made sure everything was in one place and organized, putting together an online folder of all our documents, the timeline, the outstanding questions, and pictures of ideas on Google Drive. From there, Nicole was always available to answer our questions; whether we sent an email first thing in the morning, late at night, or over the weekend, Nicole was always there to respond promptly, even for the ridiculous questions, tiniest details, or confirmations we asked for three, four, and more times. She also made our lives much easier in terms of taking over all the vendor communication and making sure each small detail was taken care of, especially the last few weeks leading up to the wedding; she made working with nearly a dozen different vendors and coordinating all of those moving pieces seem easy! Aside from the coordination itself, we also hired Nicole to help out with the design and décor to help our vision come to life. While we had an idea of how we wanted our wedding to feel, we had no idea how to make it happen. Nicole was constantly giving us ideas, sending over examples, and offering to provide various pieces that she had available. Ultimately, everything came together perfectly and we couldn’t have had the feel and charm that our big day had without Nicole helping us make our vision a reality. In terms of the weekend of, we literally could not have pulled everything off without Nicole. She came out on Friday afternoon without us even asking her to and helped with setting up our rehearsal dinner as well as walking our bridal party and families through the rehearsal. On Saturday, she was there first thing in the morning, finishing up all of the small touches and making sure everything was exactly as planned. Throughout the day, she was always there for us to answer any questions, handle any mini-crises, and make sure everyone was in the right place at the right time. We knew we were in good hands and we can’t express how great it was to not have to worry about anything and just enjoy our big day. Hiring Nicole was arguably the best decision we made when planning our wedding. Not only is Nicole incredible to work with and extremely professional, but we could never have imagined how much taking some of the load off of our shoulders and getting to step back and enjoy the experience leading up to our wedding. The only thing we would have done differently is getting in touch with Nicole sooner!
