I’ve been shopping here for years. The girls are amazing, Gilly and Diane are simply amazing. They do specialize is fine lacy goodies. almost all of their lingerie is imported from france or italy. The quality is fantastic. Ive bought many things from stockings to nice robes but i can honestly say the best thing about the small store is the ambience, As women you may find yourselves walking in to wear something sexy for your partner or lover but the staff and the items themselves make you feel like a goddess or a siren solely for yourself. If you want to find something sexy or even just a nice robe to lounge in and want a standout piece, this is the place.

I visited Galatea for the first time on Saturday and I am hooked. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, but not pushy. The environment was inviting and I didn’t feel pressured to buy. I was able to find lingerie that was sexy, comfortable, and classy. D informed me that they receive new product weekly and will call me when colors/​style I am looking for arrive. I will definitely be back in again soon.

When I lived in Hoboken this was my fave addiction. From the moment you open the door you are summoned by the most romantic scent you have ever smelled. Thanks in part to the candles that are for sale. Honestly. My all time favorite candles are sold at this boutique. The array of lingerie is a dream. They also have beautiful clothing. One of my favorite, luxurious sweaters was purchased here. This is the most sexy, romantic store your guy could ever give you a gift from. Feel free to give yourself a lovely piece from the store. Honestly when I would receive gifts from Galatea the smell from the store would fill the air as I unwrapped my present. It has been some time since I have had a pleasure to visit. I am thinking of making a special trip to the area just for this reason. I am giving this place 5 stars only because 6 was not available. Galatea I adore you, your atmosphere, your aroma, your lovely sales people, the owner, your beautiful lingerie and clothing. Oh how I miss you.

The store is very inviting. The staff at Galatea are sweet, warm and genuine.
They have the best candles ever. The price range is so that everyone can afford something. Anything that you purchase will be well worth it! The owner has a great eye for style, hence, the reason the selection is terrific.
Some basic lines carried are Casabella, Only Hearts, Hanky Panky, 3Dots, Ling and sooo much more!!! When you walk into this you will appreciate how beautiful it is to be a woman! When you leave you will want to come back.
