Hoboken Hair

Literally asked John to give me a low fade and messed it up. How can you mess that up. He rushed the cut and didn’t even blow dry my hair so I had hair on my the whole day. Miserable experience. Every barber should know how to perform a low fade.

Its a great place to get a haircut for a men, not as much for a women. They could do a basic cut but nothing fancy for a women style. But bottom line for men hair cuts they have a reasonable well qualified stylists. But don’t judge place from one time, i already tried this place over 8 times and only had one bad experience when i tried a different stylist then usually i would, so find one that fits your needs. In addition it is sad that they still don’t remember me as a customer. But at least they are fast and clean looking place.

I recently moved to nj and needed to find a haircut in the area. After doing a bit of research I decided to try Peter at hoboken hair. I’ve had two cuts so far. The first one was very good. The 2^nd time Peter remembered me and I asked for a few changes from the first visit. One of the best cuts I’ve had.

I’m not sure what a perfect haircut is like, but mine was pretty darn close. Adam takes his time to make every element look good and shaped right. He’s got firm strokes in his cuts and the confidence comes from the years of experience he has in this space. I’m hooked to this place and highly recommend it.

Hoboken Hair is a great little spot for a good men’s cut. I have been living in Hoboken for 2 years and finally found somewhere that does my hair the way I like it. Kris is the best they have! He listens to exactly what you want done and executes it well. He does a sick fade and I also trust him with my beard! Just be careful he is only there 2 days a week. Also, good luck if you come in for a cut after work. You can be kept waiting for an hour to get in a chair.

Consistently good hair cut. Always walk in and take first available and ⁹⁄₁₀ times they do a very good job. Service is good, store is clean. Would recommend to anyone local. 4 stars because they raised their prices recently after only being open a year

I’ve been going to Kris for a few months now — every two weeks. He’s always super friendly and always gives me an awesome cut. I’d suggest him over anyone else in Hoboken — 5 stars for sure

Has 5 stars? Went for a beard trim. Got charged $ 22 & right side of mustache got shaved a little. Haha. Not sure if I give them 5 stars.

This place is great. Super friendly staff and great service. I bounced around town looking for a good cut for a while before I found this place. Definitely worth the 11 block walk. Ask for Adam, he gives a great haircut with attention to detail!

I’ve been going to Hoboken Hair for at least a year and a half now. I was really glad when they opened this location because I actually come from outside Hoboken and this is far better than walking all the way to 14^th.
I visit this location roughly every 4 – 5 weeks and while I do see new faces from time to time, there is a core group of stylists that I recognize every time. I’m usually looking to get in and out fast so I’ve done ‘first available’ virtually every time I’ve visited. Due to this I’ve probably had my haircut at least once by almost every stylist. Regardless, I’ve never had a bad hair cut and as the true judge, my fiancée agrees.
I’m giving this place five stars because I’ve had consistently good service, never had a bad cut, the price is reasonable, the straight razor shaves are a great bonus and I wouldn’t bother going to Hoboken just for a hair cut at a place less than five stars.

After about 10 or so visits. I give this place five stars. Peter is the man. He pays close attention to detail. Will be coming here as long as he is here.

The very friendly lady at the front desk took my call and they managed to fit me in at 810 when they close at 830. Peter cut my hair and let me tell you, few people have understood my hair as well as him. This guy is a pro and takes his craft seriously. After my great cut, I went to pay and found out my bill was 19 $. Hoboken hair is ridiculously good value and I would recommend it highly. I just hope it doesn’t get too busy because I’m definitely going back.

Adam is my main guy and has never let me down. Perfect cut every single time. Peter is my backup and does an amazing job as well. Definitely the best place in town for a men’s cut.

Great establishment providing the best haircuts I’ve gotten for the best value in Hoboken. A friend recommended I try Peter or Adam, I asked for Peter the first time I went and had such a good cut I’ve asked for Peter every time since. $ 19 gets you a great cut and a hot lather neck shave. I’d recommend this place to anybody

For $ 19, this is a pretty good value, especially in Hoboken. Have been to most other places (buzzcuts, 1^st st barber, supercuts, Imago, Regis, Hudson Square Salon, etc) but this place is the best cut considering the $ 19 price tag. I’ve had some varying experiences depending on the barber, but overall it delivers consistency at a good value.

It doesn’t get any better than getting a haircut here. A proper hair cut and shave. Adam is the man. Always a good conversation and he really takes the time to make sure everything is perfect.
Won’t go anywhere else.

Yoselin is my go to gal for my hair. She gets my color and cut perfectly every time. I live in south Jersey and drive nearly two hours to get it done. I don’t like the way they cut hair down here or in Philly. They’re stuck in the 80’s and 90’s with pink and purple hair spiked on top or bowl haircuts for men.
